If you ever watch the show Shark Tank, you'll very quickly notice that Cuban pedestalizes women, especially young women.

The "shark" Kevin O'Leary, while a real asshole, is at least an equal opportunity one. Unlike Cuban, he treats the women angling for investors no differently than the men.

Apparently, Griner is 6' 8" and a shade over 200 lbs. This obviously gives her an edge in woman's ball that would be non-existent at the NBA level.

What a pathetic argument. The typical accusations of sexism and lookism are trotted out - citing that because people because people have discussed her appearance, they are ignoring her accomplishments. They slip in a sentence about her phenomenal athleticism and great accomplishments. Huh?

I think feminists like it this way that women are not competing in reality - it allows them to live in a fantasy world where they are excellent atheletes and *could* achieve the same accomplishments as men, but it is all that objectification and sexism getting in the way. I mean, they programmed a feminist version of NBA 2K13 and their female center totally got the MVP and backed down Dwight all throughout the finals.

Gasol or Bosh would smash this woman with both eyes closed.

I remember when the WNBA was launched. Nothing in the history of sports has pissed me off so much. All the media attention, the endless commercials (we got next), the attention whoring, the primetime ESPN coverage and the fucking up primetime TV channels to accommodate the WNBA annoyed me to no end. Shit I am mad remembering it even now.

I loved basketball, played a lot of basketball, and the level of capability that women have in the sport is so laughably low compared to men it is a joke. We had 400 people in my high school class and a lot of the guys who played for our varsity team could throw down a decent dunk. Not bad for white guys. For years in middle school and high school I was constantly playing in pick up games and shooting around with my friends. Anytime it was warm out there was a good chance that was what we were doing.

Anyway, I would see the WNBA and the women couldn't even do a decent jump shot - their feet almost never left the ground. They weren't fast. Their ball handling was mediocre compared to the NBA. In fact even back then I knew that athletically our little men's high school team would out run, out jump, out block, and dunk over them all day long. Why the fuck was I forced to tolerate this shit being rammed down my throat by the media??? Fuck equality - they aren't equal. What would be the equivalent? Watching a bunch of burly dudes put on dresses and walk down a catwalk in fashions shows and have the whole fucking world make a big deal of it.

Yep. The UConn women's team trains against a group of male pickup players - mostly ex-HS varsity kids that couldn't play at the D1 level. Guess who gets utterly destroyed?

Women trying to compete with men in basketball, or any other physical sport for that matter, are just ridiculous. What pisses me off is that they just can't accept and admit it.
When the female German soccer team won the World Championship some years back, the whole media was like "Oh, now the girls are even better in soccer then the guys blablabla", when in reality the same championship team which consisted of the country's best players would regularly play exhibition matches against the juniors (16 - 17 years) of some Bundesliga teams and get their little asses kicked EVERY TIME, losing 7-1 and shit.

Billiards. They're oddly thin for a "sport" with virtually no physical activity, and it's probably the only real "athletic" endeavor in which men and women can compete evenly. Oh, except for competitive eating. Sonya "The Black Widow" Thomas can hold her own with the top gurgitators in the world.

Honestly there are some damn hot track and field girls too. The ones at my university are the most attractive in the athletic department. Great bodies. I feel like individual, non-contact sports are where the hottest women gravitate to in the world of sports
