First thing I wish to state is that this all occurred before I even smelled the Red Pill.

In my second semester of College,I can confidently say I had high social value (I became the guy to know), I had begun working out, had a weekend job and was doing well academically .

At that time,I started getting friendly with this hot social butterfly of a girl who had just broken up with her Alpha/Beta boyfriend.
From Day 1, She took the initiative in every action. She added me on Facebook, started conversations, I gave her my number and she texted me. I did however tend to engage her more face to face due to my newly gained confidence boost. (I may be a rebound)

So, a month or two after the initial contact, I have kissed her and I am lying in bed with her after being in a club with her. And I sleep with her several times over, when I say sleep, I literally just mean sleep. I pussied out or was too drunk and tired or I had zero experience.
(Looking back, I did not deserve the tool between my legs.)

Regardless, We continue being together for a while, then I go to a close major city with her and two of my friends who were banging each other. Their presence put me on edge and made me more awkward than usual. This led to me telling her to "kiss me" and when she leaned in, I sarcastically laughed in her face and walked away. I also paid for our meal and follow up drinks later.

Following week, we are meant to go to a Prom -style dance/Ball together. Ends up that she goes and I don't. (Logistics)
Two weeks go by with her avoiding me and I finally talk to her and it ends. However, I continue to be her emotional tampon. And I eventually suggest i.e (begged her) to keep things "light" during the Summer months.

Summer exams come up, She passes everything and I fail (I specifically remember making her a birthday card before an important test, that if I had passed, I would not have to do any Repeat Exams)
I end up having to repeat 6 exams. 6!?! Fuck me! I spend my entire Summer hitting the gym,working and studying for those fucking exams. Whereas she goes travelling etc.
So basically I have minimum to zero contact with her during the Summer (except where I fuck up some more times) .Do not drink with her number saved into your phone. And towards the end of Summer, I do not engage her.

I get back to College and do not engage her.
She comes up to me in a club while I'm hitting on a hotter girl and starts hugging me,resting her head in the nape of my neck, I push her away and blame it on her friend who is trying to get home fast.

During the weekends (I work), I do not engage her.
During the week nights(Assignments), I do not engage her.
And during the weekdays (College) , I try not to engage her.

Now here lies my problem.
She is still hot. She has become even more of a social butterfly, constantly engaging my own close friends.
She is in every lecture, every experimental lab and every tutorial .
I cannot avoid her though I try. If she looks at me, I harden my stare and focus on whatever I was previously engaged with.

But I've noticed this affecting my game. It puts me in a less sociable mood. I cannot game her friends who are the hottest girls in my course (Probably no value to them) or the decent women around me (In my particular field of study, there are few)

So my question is this,
Should I engage her again simply to make things more friendly between us ,elevating myself in her friend's eyes and others or continue to avoid contact and continue hoping that time will work to my advantage?

It sounds to me like you still have some feelings for this girl. If I were you, I would try to sort those out. The best way is to completely avoid contact with the girl for a long time, but that doesn't seem to be an option here. Not sure what advice to give in this case, except don't re-engage with her if you still have feelings for her.

For a guy your age, it doesn't sound like you were a total chump, just inexperienced. In this case, I suggest "nice guy" game, not emotional tampon game, but genuine nice guy game. She hasn't really been a bitch to you and her behavior is perfectly normal for a girl her age. You need to completely let go of any idea of banging her and just treat her like a friend. If she treats you well, then you can reciprocate. If she tries to use you as emotional tampon, push her away. A chick like this can easily be turned into your wing woman. If she asks for dating advice, joke with her. e.g. "I hear guys like to receive flowers and chocolates on the first date" "show lots of cleavage".

Thanks lads.

As for feelings, I feel almost a certain disdain for her or just complete numbness (The numbness might be why I'm asking for advice).
The strong protective and caring instinct I had for her is gone.

But I think I've come to the realisation that I won't be banging her. I think that no matter how great my game gets, I'd be unable to undo the past and the mistakes I've made.

Become good friends with her and use that to game her friends, you'll feel boss once you've slayed one of them
