nope, all that comes through internal mail servers which have security on them to fish them out. For example security at my organisation is so secure that even emails from TFL (London's public transport system) are filtered. Any phishing type scams are deleted, emails like the above you have to verify that you want them delivered to your outlook, the scams you don't even get the option.
For example an investment bank can't afford any virus to be downloaded onto any one of it's computers, all the computers are linked via LAN to multiple servers across multiple global locations, one virus could threaten the entire financial security of the bank.

Use your smartphone. If you ever get in trouble they can go to IT, look up the logs of all the time-wasting shit you did and use it to seal the case against you and get you fired.

So we've discovered something strange here. One of my coworkers has access to youtube, whereas the rest of us don't. Another, gmail.

What's the deal? I thought the filter would apply to anyone on the network. Coworkers don't have anything special installed or anything.

Are they in the same team/group or even floor? You can apply different filters for different groups. We use to block facebook for everyone but HR
