Big surprise there -- the left uses threats to try and censor speech. Luckily, this isn't a college campus and they won't get their way.

It boggles my mind she and her lawyers had the audacity to go after Truth Revolt when they quoted her book -- and they quoted a bunch of it, so it wasn't like it was taken out of context.

I see this as a big opportunity to bring down not only Dunham, but the silver spoon crowd she hobnobs with. Manosphere guys on Twitter should be asking Taylor Swift, Lorde, and her co-stars how they feel supporting a child sexual abuser.

Normally, I'd agree with the crowd that brushes this off given she was 7 at the time.

However, if a 7 year old boy did this, you know he'd be on the sexual offenders list.

You want equality? Then label Lena Dunham a sexual predator and put her on the list.

I have to say, I don't think that is true. A 7-year-old boy who was being sexually predatory with younger children would probably be shunted into some kind of counseling, but wouldn't get criminal penalties or end up on a sex offender registry. I mean, feel free to prove me wrong if I'm wrong.

That's why I want to know how old she was when she did some of the other acts she describes--bribing her sister for kisses and masturbating next to her sister in bed. I assume she wasn't masturbating at 7.

P.S. This is why the media is a fail. Everyone's reporting on the original article and on Dunham's tweets in response. But no one is doing actual reporting, i.e. digging into the book themselves, more about the sister/family, etc. The media is just writing about the media kerfuffle/twitter war, not digging into the story itself. I guess reporting what people are tweeting is easier.

There is such a thing a children who molest children. It used to be in the news quite a bit, but disappeared for some reason.

Here is a Newsweek article that dates back to 1992, but was updated in 2010. It's called "When Kids Molest Kids."

Here is the explanatory paragraph, which could have been written to describe this very situation:

Had my first kiss at 12 with a girl from school, in the shrubs under her parents balcony. It was her idea. Kind of sweet, remembering. Girls were normal back then.

This was different to kids exploring with each other, or the occasional rumours of student / teacher relationships, one of which turned out to be real. This was deep social transgression, and, since we were a less-jaded and less-degenerate generation who hadn't been exposed to porn, kids weren't joking about this. They couldn't. Kids told each other what had happened in hushed, uncomfortable tones. We couldn't understand the behaviour by any rational measure, and it truly-scared everyone. In a world where irrational events like that can happen, what else could? Was it really much of a reach from that to understanding the threat of irrational destruction via the cold war?

This is all we're seeing here: a girl we'd long marked as a damaged degenerate by her obvious tells, (weight, hair, tattoos), not understanding incest and child abuse isn't a 'cute story', but a deep social transgression most people - even fellow degenerates - will be horrified and sickened by.

AnonymousBosch is has a point. All of the overly sexual kids growing up were the outcasts. The kid picked first for kickball at recess was never the kid caught in the back of the class playing with his wiener. It was always the kids that had a difficult time fitting in.

Of the people I know now, the ones that are overly sexual don't have the cleanest history. There is at least one black mark in their childhood. However, some of them are now charismatic people. If it ended when Lena was 7 than I don't think it's a big deal. Obviously it's inappropriate to write about and profit off of, but these things do happen with kids. If Lena wasn't using it to attention-whore I really wouldn't care at all, of course she couldn't resist though.

Has that Grace Dunham quote already been posted? "As a queer person: I'm committed to people narrating their own experiences, determining for themselves what has and has not been harmful" What does that have to do with being queer?
