There is a small but valuable lesson here.

As monstrous as LD is -- and she's a pretty bad case, let's face it -- a man of really superior social intelligence (think Bill Clinton in his prime for an extreme example) would never let her come out of a social occasion feeling this way. It is the most fundamental part of social intelligence in this context that you make every single one of your table neighbors and potential interlocutors feel included, desirable, and subtly nourished with special attention -- feel as if they are in a very particular conspiracy with you that only the two of you are aware of. And this is doubly and triply true with any interlocutor who might be prey to social insecurities: an ugly woman, a shy man, or someone who feels intellectually or socially anxious about the context they're in.

Of course one would never expect a normal guy to act this way -- and there is gentle comedy in how completely they often fail to do so (it is less excusable when a woman fails in this and acts like a self-absorbed bitch instead, since this kind of social intelligence is among the very few things she can be expected to do well if she at all tries to).

But it is always right to show that kind of social intelligence if you at all know how to, and even if you don't. First, because it's humanly right; second, because it's a great skill to practice; and third, because you never know when you'll need an ally, and this is the sort of thing that converts other people into allies more than anything else. The whole "body positive" thing is for women only. They want to be able to be as sloppy as possible, but feel they should have access to top men, men putting in the hours at the gym and demonstrating dietary discipline. The male equivalents of these women aren't even registering in their minds, they feel entitled to the best. It's code for selfishness, and the outside is very much a reflection of the inside on these women. The same lack of impulse control that prevents them to adhering to any kind of lifestyle discipline is the same lack of impulse control that would make them unreliable mates.

They talk about "shaming" yet here she is shaming OBJ not for something he said, but something she imagines in her mind that he's saying in his mind. The whole movement, it's not about fairness, it never was. It's an attempted grab for power in the realm of dating and sex. No different in intent than putting on make up, and just as dishonest.

One of the biggest stars in the NFL, who also appears to do his own modeling on the side, sits down next to what we can only assume to be a pile of clammy stab resembling a human body and undoubtedly smells of deli meat, politely chooses to not invade its safe space by nodding acknowledgment of its existence, engaging in problematic, entitled small talk, or raping it with his eyes.

The response he elicits is it concocts a complete internal dialogue based solely on his silence and polite aversion to castigate him for not giving it the attention it feels due. As we know, it felt it was not only beneath it to be seated next to an African-American man, but the tacit social contract was violated by the man's refusal to bow in reference to the white entity. Ultimately, as a white thing, it was offended that an African-American did not "assume his place" when in its presence. It is sad that we cannot get past the racial tensions.

I recently did a drug test for a new job.

At the drug testing facility, three of us had to sit next to each other in cubicles. I sat all the way to the left; a really obese, pained-looking, disgusting fat fuck with acne guy sat all the way to the right. In the middle was this rather skinny version of Henry Cavill-with-glasses.

The skinny henry cavill-with-glasses started conversing with the disgusting fat fuck; asking questions, expressing seemingly genuine interest, intelligent commentaries, a little sprinkling of psychological insights, his intonations and cadence, etcetera, etcetera. It was interesting to watch.

Whilst this was going on, an entity walked past in front of us: a massively large landwhale of a female with bright green colored hair, thick black lipsticks, and ugly piercings. The skinny henry cavill-with-glasses charming said "hello,", " how is it going today?" smoothly, and suavely transitioned back to talking to the fatfuck guy with all his cringe worthy nerdy interests.

The boss black lady in charge of taking our piss for drug test is rushed and acting super bitchy with a mile long attitude. When the skinny henry cavill-with-glasses went to drink more water, he wedge in a quick chitchat with the black bossy lady, he gets her to smile and talk about herself and a few other things.

Skinny skinny henry cavill-with-glasses knows how to ask questions and talk without being intrusive; seems to pay attention and shows what seems to be genuine interest in what others have to say or doing with their lives without any judgment. People really like to talk about themselves, and they want people to pay attention to them.

I was observing him like a laboratory animal. Watching his latent political skills and ability to work a room he just walked into a few minutes ago.

Naturally, I engaged him in a conversation. It was interesting as the two of us, both seasoned operators, deploy superficial charms, telling jokes, and all such surface crap; either he is just a social butterfly or charming sociopath, I cannot tell which.

After his drug test, I pretended to be immersed my book.... as he was walking past me, he gently tap me on the shoulder and wish me a good day.

He is barely 21 years old. His political potential is high. He just started on wallstreet. Studied finance.

The skinny skinny henry cavill-with-glasses could have ignored every person like i did or others did, burying his face in iphone or whatever. But he didn't. Instead, he charmed everybody, paid closed attention to everybody without being intrusive or bothersome or nosy. Left a positive vibe with everybody without appearing emotionally needy or coming off as being afraid of being alone. Social game recognized.

One of the problems of this show is that all the women characters are insufferable and repulsive. The least objectionable one, the decent-looking singer-songwriter girl is a horrible narcissist/careerist, the rest are just trash, to the point where the show is unwatchable.

I've met two. A mother daughter pair stunk up the entire building when they entered a friend's shop, like they laired inside a fast food grease trap. They can spend all their money on the games he sells but apparently soap and water are not in the budget.
