The translators delay really made it hard because by the time I knew what was said, another person was already talking. Plus they edited a lot out, mostly in favor to get in the sex tourist hunters in the end (more drama, I suppose).

I watched this a week ago without subtitles and now that I see it with the translation I'm blown away at how much all of the "heroes" wanted to take you down for the entire show. I couldn't believe that the girl wanted to sue you! AND they wanted to try and take you out for the flag on the book! What ended up happening with that? Did you hear from them after the show? Did anyone confront you afterwards? You did well man and that lady at the end, what an angel from heaven. Had she not have been there it wouldn't have looked good for you, she did a good job helping you out, especially the part " Roosh teaches men how to be elegant and intellectual." CLASSIC.

Part of the way thru it. A few thoughts:

1. Roosh, damn you stay composed. I don't know if I would have. I probably would have sparked up a smoke in the TV studio and told them all to f*ck off.

There were a couple of hot girls in the audience, but I thought the girls on stage were pretty so-so. I wouldn't judge the girls of a country by who goes on a trashy TV talk show.

There is some strange strange anti-sexual tendencies in Ukraine (and Russia) I have known a Ukrainian nightclub owner who was proud of being celibate for 5 years. Other Russian males have said similar things to me.

It is quite a conservative culture that often does posit the "purity" (i.e. no sex!) of their women. I think "60 years of challenge" really goes into this quite well, when he says that women are primarily selling their "purity" (which is perceived to be her ability to love and be faithful), but also means that she is not having sex with other guys or tends not to. (a slut who cuckolds you!) And this is tied into the Christian religion which posits purity as being about no sex. Sex as only being about the flesh etc.

For Ukraine, there is an element of, "here comes Mr Sex Tourist spoiling the purity of our women" and it also implies a genetic purity is also compromised. I think Roosh counteracts that well with his line "Sex is Love" and that you can't stop that and it is a good thing, a natural thing that benefits both parties.

I saw a similar response in the people, on an American TV talk show years ago (Donahue or something) where they were talking to Pick Up Artists. Watching the women's faces in the audience, you can see this mask of horror, was just a mask, underneath they were intrigued, fascinated. That undertow seemed to be less present in this TV show, but still, I think what Roosh presents is an evolution beyond grimy transactional sex, into something more conscious and aware.

Roosh comes over very well I think, he just lets the turkeys appear as turkeys and saying his bit when is necessary. Maybe this show might open up things more for well dressed guys like Roosh in Ukraine...

Also, they didn't represent his book very well. Anyone who reads it will not find a story of a guy scoring left and right with Ukrainian chicks, but quite a vulnerable and human story; but people will often see what they want to see.

Ok. I watched the whole thing.

Some final thoughts:

5. Those people were awful. The only likable person in the video was Roosh. (Who did a very impressive job on this for a first TV appearance.)I wouldn't hang out with the rest of them if you paid me.

6. The coolest girl was also the ugliest. Correction: The only semi-cool girl was the ugliest. The matchmaker girl. She actually had Roosh's back.

7. The "lawsuit girl" and the other super hot dark haired girl? Hell, if you want to meet b*tches like that, can't one just take a flight to Washington, DC?

G, I think you would like Ukraine, provided that you learned some Russian. The young women of Ukraine are, on average, even better than the women in the audience. They are pretty, thin, dress well and always have their makeup done up

As for smoking, Ukraine has an indoor/public places smoking ban, but it is haphazardly enforced.

Watched the whole thing and had a blast. The host was spazzy by throwing in so many topics, if he wanted to do more of a hatchet job on Roosh he flubbed it up. Roosh was definitely the centerpiece as he could sit through the entire show batting questions and fielding comments.

Cool, I'm glad I got to see it translated in English. You had some grade A haters on there. That Max guy was the ultimate homo. They came down on you pretty hard at first but you held your composure well. The dude from couch surfing is a homo too. He comes out like, "Hey what's up man!" And then sells you out and throws you under the bus. As the show went on it started looking better for you. The bono dude started backing you up a little. Those hos can eat a dick that said they wouldn't give you the chance. They just wanted to DHV. All and all, I think you did a good job, especially considering the fact they came out guns blazing, trying to make you look like the bad guy. Congrats on your first TV appearance.
