Always have. My brother was into them as a kid but I wasn't.

I don't like the fantasy/escape aspect of it. It seems to me healthier to hold up a more realistic hero as an example of what Men should be. That's the purpose of heroes BTW. Superheroes have a deus ex machina of their superpwoers, something mere mortals can never rely on. A man should be able to look to heroes for guidance in the real world.

Look at Batman. He lives to protect others who don't appreciate it.

BTW, someone should make a gay porn where every time Batman pumps Robin they put Pow! Bam! or whatever on screen.

Superman. He has all these super powers and all he wants to do is save Lois Lane.

Spiderman is the one who pisses me off to no end. The whole thing about Spiderman is that some loser who couldn't get a chick to notice him fantasized about doing amazing things so the chick would realize he exists. This is unhealthy and should be treated as weakness/mental illness. Instead the character and creator are venerated by other weak men. Spiderman is worse than Robin because he has no male role model to help him turn into a real man.

Why not have a guy get bit by a radioactive blue whale and grow a cock the size of a blue whale's cock and become a porn star? It's more realistic than the crap they put out but it's too manly for the comic book crowd.

Or how about Beta Man, a guy who goes around and ties up Manosphere men and lets feminists have at them with strapons?

Then we see Wonder Woman. What weaknesses does she have? If her wrists are ties together she becomes powerless. That's because her creator was into bondage. (I kid you not, google it).

It all seems dysfunctional to me. A healthy culture should have healthy heroes and heroines upholding good values and serving as good role models.

Not all superhero stories are weesh: Read Frank Miller's Dark Knight Return, Batman Year One, and All-Star Batman. Anything graphic novel about Wolverine would be somewhat red-pill too.

Also according to his origin, Spiderman initially used his powers as a pro-wrestler b/c the strength gave him an advantage. He becomes a superhero after his uncle(male role model) gets killed.

dude comics were underground pulp stories from 1930-2000. only in the last decade did it go "mainstream" with the marvel movies.

and who cares, the movies are great. feel-good, great stories and great FX. Not everything has to be an uber masculine redpill for it to be good. In fact, i think until you (anyone) learn to accept normal stuff rather than seethe in hate you'll live a much happier life.

IMO, batman is the pinnacle of male perfection without powers. High intellect, very strict diet , disciplined workout regime and no alcohol to maintain his peak level human muscular build . Knows 20 programing languages, 32 languages 2 engineering degrees, 2 science degrees, Studied martial arts and marine combative, rich as hell, but is getting richer because on top of being ABtman, he is the CEO of his company<-- think about this for a second, the amount of stress that goes into training physically and mentally, doing detective work and running your parent's company..incredible. The Batman movies watered this down by making Lucius fox become CEO, but in the comic books, Lucius subs in are where it is at.


Also Batman 's butler was a fighter pilot veteran, so he actually had a strong masculine role model, Then his martial arts teachers would have also being good role models and also his personal trainer form when he was a kid.

The only thing bad about batman is his depression, lack of sense of humor, anger and fighting crime and dressing up like a bat. Despise all this, he spits good game, but he is high status.If I were him, Id just escape Gotham and chill out in the bahamas and run the company online.

If you read the REAL Spiderman comic books, you would love Peter Parker. You are looking at the movie version. In the comic books, Spiderman/Peter Parker always juggled multiple chicks. Dude lived with his aunt and still had chicks in expensive foreign cars picking him up. They did not show that in the movie.

Ironman/Tony Stark?....Millionaire industrialist who was a playboy. Shiiii....he had a female villian who was terrorizing the city and committing crimes pretty much because he would not bang her. Now you KNOW that would never make the movie version.

I love certain superheroes. I'm not into Spiderman, never was, and as a red-pill adult, even more so for the reasons discussed. However, I've always loved Superman. It's admittedly pure escapism and probably an adolescent power fantasy, but I've always been a big fan. I don't care if it's 'red pill' or whatever, I just like superhero films!

I'm surprised no one here has read any Sin City comics. It rides the line between red and blue pill.

One of the books depicts this guy who does the whole chivalry thing, gets absolutely screwed over, and decides to kill the broad who wronged him. That starts out blue pill, but the ending is pretty good. It's called A Dame to Kill For.

Then there's Marv in The Hard Goodbye, the story about a clueless omega defending the memory of a woman who slept with him, who still manages to endear to the reader and destroy a lot of people in a psychopathic rage.

Most people, whenever they read stories about men who go on murdering rampages, need that justification that it's in defense of someone else in order to ride that moral grey area and feel good about whatever they're reading.

If you've ever watched that last Hannibal Lecter film with Julianne Moor and Anthony Hopkins, you will rage if you've ever read the books. At the end of the film, Hannibal decides to cut off his own hand to escape, rather than Clarice's hand (because we're supposed to guess that he has feelings for her). In the book, Clarice really bought into his world and did whatever the fuck he wanted to do, or didn't stop him when he was eating her coworker's brains.

Seriously though, look at the old myths and legends. The Trojan War was fought over a woman. The Odyssey was about Odysseus trying to get home, where he killed a boatload of suitors and then fucked his wife at the end of it.
