We all saw Roosh in the Washington Times online.

A few days ago, I saw Captain Capitalism (Aaron Clarey) interviewed at the Times too.

And just a few days ago, Dalrock, a blogger writing about marriage and feminism, got mentioned in the ]New York Times Blog.

The destruction that feminism has brought to society and families is now being exposed via mainstream ways.

What will the reaction be from the feminists and their white knight protectors?

Do you think marital, divorce, dv, etc. laws will be affected? if so, how?

Color me cynical -- I think the manosphere will become a convenient new boogieman to validate feminism's continued War on Everything since they've long run out of actual causes to justify their existence and militant activism. They're resorting to self-parody level campaigns at this point to even keep the lights on.

You can already see this when a manosphere article goes viral on the femi-nets: the comment swarm of feminists encountering the manosphere for the first time, simultaneously surprised and relieved that they found an actual concrete example of "sexism" -- for before it was just a myth that they kept repeating, hoping to assure one another that it really did exist... somewhere... even though they couldn't exactly locate it anywhere without giant, fantastical big wheels of hamsterism.

E.G.: The guy that runs the red pill sub reddit did a radio interview along side a feminist on BBC and apparently it got edited to shreds (it was pre-recorded), completely neutering his arguments in favor of the feminist. I see more of this happening, where red pill voices are disarmed for safe use as props in shallow "debates" where feminism is vindicated amid society's collective creeping skepticism of their usefulness.

I'm not too hopeful either, as far as legally. We're still going to get thrashed by the white knights.

I think our biggest enemy isn't feminists by themselves, it's their beta boy protectors. Men, American ones especially, have some need to sell out their fellow brother for a woman. We need to support eachother as men. This forum and others like it, is a support network for dudes.

Nothing. 95% of guys still put players a step above serial killers and child molesters. Just lay low, make money and don't get girls pregnant.

Great comment overall. In response to the above, this is still an improvement - there will be a small minority of listeners who will seek out even a defanged defender of men like in that BBC piece, to hear his side of the story.

Reminds me of how Marc Rudov gave advice in a lecture to men, not to open their wallets for women as a way to attract them. Then, he says, "I know many of you guys are nodding your head right now, and will go on to do exactly what I'm telling you *not* to do." If the manosphere ever acquires any amount of renown, there'll be a ton of these dudes, who cheer it on and then never live it in practice.

This is the beginning. Women are naturally submissive so most women will welcome a return to patriarchy, but it will take decades to get back to normal.

At the end of the day, economics is the most powerful force at work. Feminism as a cultural force is probably at its peak. There are only so many articles you can write about the Patriarchy, only so many sites like Jezebel that can exist, only so many books that Jessica Valenti can write. People will get tired and move on. And manosphere ideas will certainly be a part of that process.

However, entitlement feminism will remain engrained in society, so long as there is a welfare state to grant entitlements. If women don't need two incomes to have kids, or if they can get two incomes through child support, then they will do just that. Human beings tend to respond to incentives.

I don't see any great re-establishment of the patriarchy. And to be honest, I wouldn't want it. People here have a tendency to wax nostalgic about the time when the man was king of the castle, but wonder how many of those kings were being beaten down by soulless jobs, shrewish wives and thankless kids.

I do think that as the fiscal situation gets worse, government spending will have to contract. And, hopefully without artificial credit bubbles, more people will have to learn to be prudent as self-sufficient. If that happens, then the importance of family will begin to reassertion itself.

This is true. The angriest feminists I've encountered have always been the male white knights. They're usually very motivated because:

a) Men have male hormones (duh) which lead to strong impulses and a need to dominate, right out of the gate.

b) They think that pwning other men will win them brownie points in the eyes of women.

c) Deep down they know that what they are saying is bullshit and that they are pathetic, so they need to fight hard to keep this uncomfortable truth far from the surface.

I think it will wake more men up (especially young men). However, I don't think it will ultimately change anything because the men who are appointed to positions of influence in our society are all NPCs/white knights/blue pilled betas.

It's like saying divorce rates are going down when marriage rates are going down as well.

The men who are taking the red pill seriously are the ones who are not getting the results they want in life. If you are naturally a High Value man who is on the track to having influence, society is still working for you. If a HV man wakes up to the red pill at 40 when he has a high-status job, kids/house/wife, he is not going to risk that by going against the grain. I see it every day in my job.

Men are by nature competitive. So for every 1 man who finds the red pill and wants to act collectively as a man to change society for the better of all men, there are dozens of men who just want to see other men get knocked out of the competition for scarce resources (high paying jobs, attractive women). Most men don't even give a shit that there is a high male suicide rate or guys becoming Incel. They don't realize that this is just a reflection of society as a whole, and that like Roosh V has said, for every man who gets fucked up and goes incel or gets depressed, there is a woman who gives up and becomes a tattooed fat slut.
