RE: Feedback on proposed 1 month diet scheme
@el-mech- Try adding in a Alpha-lipoic acid supplement to your diet. Take 300 mg per meal. For your meals w/heavy carbs, i experimentally upped this to 500mg.

Works fantastic, only downside I got too enthusiastic and start doing 300mg before a meal, 300 mg after, then 300 mg after my ice cream bar (hey we all have our weakness). Had a gnarly headache from suspected hypoglycemia.

Sidenote- I lost so much fat that my face was very gaunt. Normally I have a babyface. People were asking me I had a serious illness or something...

WIA- For most of men, our time being masters of our own fate, kings in our own castles is short. Even those of us in the game will eventually succumb to ease of servitude rather than deal with the malaise of solitude

DVY, I started taking this on your reco.

But I have forgotten to take it before drinking many times. The times I have, I didn't notice an improvement in hangovers.

I like the multi-vitamins I recommend more.

Should I start taking Alpha-lipoic acid with a meal?

What will it do for me?

RE: Feedback on proposed 1 month diet scheme
It seems to put you into ketosis especially if you take it at bigger doses. Try 300-400 per med/large meal w/carbs. Don't take it if you just have a piece of toast. With larger carb meals up the dose to 500 mg.

I have heard that R-ALA is double the effect of regular ALA, but I am not sure if its just marketing hype or not. Or if its has better effectiveness.

The biggest issue with me was safety. There are almost zero reported harmful side-effects even at extreme doses- 2,000+ mg/per day. Consensus was that 1,200 mg/day or less shouldn't be a problem.

If you stick to this, you'll post 'help im eating 800 calories a day and i cant lose weight' in 2 months. You will ruin your metabolism if you start so low.

Once you get into blubber burning mode, it's important to eat quite a bit since you won't really feel hunger as a sensation like you would on a diet full of carbs and sugars.

El Mech,

Made this last night. Dope.

Did it with a little fresh grated Imported Parmesan and Free-Range Organic Ground Turkey.

Ketosis Achieved.

Are you in Ketosis? You need to get to the basics of dieting then work forward. WTF are the protein drinks for? How much water do you drink? Are you drinking anything else?

He obviously doesn't have the basics of dieting down when he's eating under 1400 calories a day.

RE: Feedback on proposed 1 month diet scheme
I tried the meat only for 3 days and by night 2 I felt my heart racing, did a quick google and found its related to ketosis
which is excellent. Ive decided to do a low carb diet for now just so I can fix my Metabolism ( Go from 800-900 calories a day to 1800). I do notice a slight weight loss and mayo tape is slowly getting smaller now that you guys have put me in the right direction.

For this and next week I am doing
M-Thu low carb (under 75g per day)
Fr-Sun Meat/water only.

Currently I'm at 172lb with 37 1/2 on the tape. Plan is to go on a meat/water only diet for 1 week starting May 3rd to the 12th. By then heart and body will be more accepting of the meat only I hope.

Will update next Wednesday.

RE: Feedback on proposed 1 month diet scheme
Do you have keto strips? 75 g is going to knock you out of the game.

How much water are you drinking? What you need to do is get there and then add carbs slowly and figure out how many a day will keep you in Ketosis. Add eggs and cheese as well that just meat thing was kinda extreme. Here's what I eat the last two days..

lunch yesterday: Cup of navy bean soup, steak with three eggs over light. (from greek diner)

Dinner: Filet and shrimp took all the cheese off some garlic bread and dipped in marinara sauce. Three lemon waters.

Lunch today: Chicken noodle(eat around noodles) soup, Pork roast w/ gravy and green beans. (greek diner again I have locked down)

Tonight I will get a huge sausage and pepperoni stromboli and eat the inside.

My target weight is 170 eight lbs to go I'm 5'7. I'm 32 waist now at 170 I'm 30
