I don't even really understand instagram.

I thought "Instagram" what when someone produces a gram of coke on the quick fast at an afterparty or club or something.

Its the next level of attention whoring for girls. Even worse than Facebook because anyone can follow you, there's no personal info revealed (unlike Facebook) and all they can do is like your photos and give you compliments.

I created that account in September of 2012 because I couldn't believe the amount of thirst out there.

I would make overtly Thirsty comments on instagram, I ended up getting blocked when girls figured out that my "adoration" was actually a form of sarcasm.

Basically it was ok for me to make comments that would do nothing but continue to inflate their ego even though they never return the favor but as soon as they think your comments aren't "Genuine" they block you. Really? Does it matter WHO makes the comments especially since women IGNORE most of them anyway.

We are loosing the war against bum ass bitches because thirsty simps are funding the opposition.

Instagram is an app on iPhones and droids. You get a username and post pics to your followers. It's basically a simplified facebook timeline but only pictures. No messaging on Instagram this is why you see the thirst firsthand out in public view. Probably what a lot of girls inboxes look like on facebook or twitter.

I use to do the same thing on okc & pof using the bbmisc copypastas. The funny part was that many of the chicks would fall for this. Many lulz were had.

Now I get why it got so popular so quickly. It's basically taking the worst attention-whoring features of Facebook and isolate them for maximum effect. Integrate tightly with phone's camera and add some cheap "artistic" filters. I never thought too much about Instagram, but now that I think about it the founder was fucking genius.

I could probably prototype an Instagram-level app in a month of solid focused work. Let's put our collective knowledge of hamster together and brainstorm a billion-dollar idea. Another great hamster-fueled website is Pinterest. Will think of something and report back soon...

So why would anyone use this?

It's mainly used for getting good quality pictures out of your phone. It became so popular for photos that it was reigning in on Facebook's turf and they made the decision to buy it. FB remains the number one resource for sharing pictures. Instagram has unique photo-editing software that make pics look iconic and better than they normally would. That's why chicks love it. They simply take better looking pictures.

It also allows for seamlessly disbursing your photos to your multiple social media accounts. You can take a pic and simultaneously upload it onto your twitter, facebook, and other accounts.
