IT problem/question: Ads on Roosh website
hi there

the last couple of days several strange things have been happening when i visit the Roosh website. I don't know if something has changed on the website or if it's something to do with my laptop.

-i get a separate column on the right side of my screen saying the following:

-a second thing is that for some reason certain text contain a hyperlink to an ad, e.g. on the "main" section of the website, under "travel", the words "local women" are underlined and when i move the cursor over those words a pricerunner ad comes up. "Making money" is similarly underlined and when i move the cursor over it, there is a pop up saying i've won an iphone

i'm assuming this isn't to do with the website but rather that there is something wrong with my laptop, correct???? Could anyone tell me how to get rid of these ads because they're driving me nuts. I've got the free Avast anti-virus software which can't find a problem. I also have the Windows firewall enabled

thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Yep, you installed a virus or trojan which has now hijacked your computer. You better not being doing any online banking--or even online purchases--with that computer until you get it fully cleaned up.
