Yemen is more welcoming to tourists than any major European country, Australia and America. I did not know that!

We want to go to all the counties in Red where foreign status still applies. All the countries in blue will be the hardest/least satisfying places to get laid.

There's a bit of a backlash in Russia against a specific set of minorities from the South (ex-USSR Central Asia countries, Chechnya etc), and Putin is just trying to ride on that. Americans and Europeans are most welcome though.

The point is that these "Aryan" activists are encouraging their people to act and think of themselves as, in this case, Slavs are for Slavs.

I wouldn't read much into that graphic. Without separating out their views on specific groups of visitors, you can't really know how the citizens of a country feel about foreign visitors in general.

I can tell you from personal experience that Brits and Germans are very welcome in Cyprus, but not so much the Indians and Southeast Asians. That graphic doesn't tell you that.

As a Latin-American in Rome, I was very well received while speaking Spanish. As an American speaking English in Rome, the reception was notably colder. That was an interesting social experiment.

I've been to Yemen. It is a complete and utter shithole but it does have some of the nicest people in the world. They have nothing but are very hospitable. They will be quick to welcome you into their humble homes and offer you tea. It is kind of mind blowing. I wouldn't recommend going there unless you were trying to go somewhere to learn Arabic on the cheap. The men there are known for carrying daggers in the front of their waists which is pretty cool as an accessory.

Glad to see Portugal ranks very high as that's the foreign country I am traveling to next.

Im constantly amazed at your distaste for the guy, yet you seem to be visit his blog regularly. You dont need to agree with his views, but he substantiates them and his opinion is based on well researched facts as he sees them. Its all you can ask of people, and the constant shaming you resort to is unnecessary. Im no fan of his either and I rarely bother to spend any time on his site unless someone linked to him, but he is no retard.

As for Russia, I have spent enough time there to understand why the people are gradually becoming more nationalistic. I dont blame them at all given what I have seen over the years. I can see the cultural decline of the west, as would many here, and they are rejecting the system that brought the cultural decline.

Many Russians make the argument that the west is in no position to dictate to them what they should and should not do because Europe and Anglo nations are in decline as a result of their policies. They are self defeating. Smarter nations should be doing the opposite of what Europe are currently doing because its not working.

Now you might not have a problem with Sweden going through the soft invasion that is mass immigration, but the Russians see it as suicide for Russia. The amount I have traveled and the more I have seen, the more I agree with their views on the matter.

Putin is right and Roissy is right on this too.

I don't need to visit his site. Guys on here constantly post bundles of his stuff. It might be that he has loads of great stuff on there but I can't take it seriously when it's watered down with lazy race theory and buzzwords like "solipsism".

Also I don't see what this has anything to do with my nationality. I'm not arguing the points of the quote itself. I'm calling out that "endorsement" because it's retarded. It depends.Generally if you follow the rules in a Germanic country you face no problem.You just have to respect the law and the local traditions.In slavic countries it is very easy to integrate they welcome you from day one.Looks and general culture and how you carry yourself play important role.They generally like good looking,good dressed,well behaved foreigners to the rich side.

The only country where I faced discrimination and conflict situations due to Balkan looks was Denmark.They are not quite vocatile about this but you get into all sorts of clash.Swedish pretend they do not mind the minorities although it is quite obvious they take a dislike at them.It is a hidden attitude which I felt in Sweden but they do not express it at all so there is no problem.The same can be said for Norway.Generally Scandinavians are more strange in this regard.Germans are only afraid that you maight not pay them if you are foreigner.Once they see the currency they are relieved.In Germany it is more about cultural gap not so looks gap.They care about the looks as long as they are bound to a certain culture.Once you get germanized in behaviour and mentality the looks do not bother them much although a Balkan never integrates in Germany the way he can in Austria where we have large and natural presence.

Considering my travel experience most of that map has nothing to do with reality. All of Eastern Europe is completely unwelcoming to foreigners? Especially Bulgaria and Slovakia? Those are really welcoming, warm and hospitable people, same for Poland, Romania, and yes, Russia.
And I think it´s safe to say that the majority of Austrians doesn´t like foreigners (=immigrants). At all. What we like is their money (=tourists). That also partly explains the result for Thailand, Turkey, the Philippines, Kenya, UAE (anyone asked the south asian migrant laborers, the housemaids from the Horn of Africa or the Philippines?), etc. Foreigners are "welcome" to leave their money here and go home afterwards.

And Morocco. I don´t know a single person that spent his and especially her vacation in this country more than once. People in the cities and around the tourist resorts are intolerable, and constantly harassing tourists. That country is a no go for women, worse if they are blond. They are after your money, and maybe old/fat tourist women to marry for a better life, and that´s it. Also ask the immigrants from West Africa, who were trying to get to Europe, didn´t make it yet and are now stuck in Morocco, how welcome they feel.
Now the people in the countryside, the poor ones, the rural farmers, that´s a different story. That´s where you can still find the famous hospitality, like in most countries in the middle east, and many countries around the world. Very much like Hencredible said. But I doubt those people were asked.

Also I guess people around the world perceive this question in completely different ways. Most people don´t give a shit about being politically correct.
Saudi Arabians think of infidels. Fuck those infidels. Russians probably think of Central Asian immigrants or people from they Caucasus. They hate those. Like the Ukrainians do + sex tourists. As for Slovakia, Hungary, Romania - they probably think of gypsies, although with their current government, Hungary really isn´t the place to be, even for Hungarians. I also don´t understand how Bulgaria is among the worst rated, and Macedonia among the best rated countries. Makes no sense to me, the difference in mentality can´t be that big. And as I said, I always felt welcome in Bulgaria, as did all other people I know who travelled there.
Iranians probably also think of infidels, although I heard a few people who´ve been there say that many people are incredibly hospitable and interested in foreigners who go there, as it´s still quite unusual. Maybe the people asked were influenced by the image of the country their government created, and preferred to give a careful evaluation.

As for Korea, I think they are worried, because many girls there tend to be a little too welcoming to foreigners, haha. A bit like China, although I´ve had a great time there. You also have to keep in mind that the Chinese can be pretty rude and unfriendly if you don´t belong to their "group" (family, friends, colleagues, neighbors), because it won´t result in social consequences for them, but in this case it doesn´t matter if you are a foreigner or not.
And Denmark, I suspect that´s just the leftists complaining about the nationalists and conservatives, who still don´t believe in their multicultural dream.

In the end, this survey should have been conducted with a set of questions.
"How welcome are wealthy tourists in your country?"
"How welcome are highly qualified immigrants in your country?"
"How welcome are unqualified immigrants in your country?"
"How welcome are people of another religion/skin colour in your country?"

But in it´s current state, the survey is pretty useless.

Unwelcome behaviour is reasonable in a regard.Imagine a foreigner dressed like shit, in dirt, unshaven and smelly.Is there any way he can cause a general sympathy?Imagine on the other an attractive foreigner well behaved, good dressed with money in his pockets. How is he possible to cause any dislike?Even the drunk English staggers are welcome as long as they leave money.Appearance is the reason foreigners from Germanic countries are highly welcome everywhere.

On the other hand many Germanic countries have problems with Slavs, Balkans and even Mediterraneans.They discriminate obviously.There will be very different treatment for the Russian oligarch compared to the average Igor.The same Mediterraneans from high classes will get treated differently than those from villages and low classes.Face, conduction, haircut, clothes, shoes play important role how you will be categorized from day one.IQ counts as well.Also knowledge of the language and general level of attractiveness.
Even if you have all this you may find it difficult if your country's culture is regarded as shitty.

I agree. Greeks are very unfriendly to English people. They openly hate them. Yet many come to UK.

I know English man that learnt Greek and lived there for a year and hated it. I experienced much hatred and hostility in Greece, they hate the English
