She doesn't need to divorce rape him, just wait for him to die. I don't know where they're getting married, but at least in the US you cannot disinherit your spouse. She is guaranteed to get at least part of his estate, which is likely considerable.

Getting married in your 70s is probably the way to go. You only have 10-15 years of life left and your wife can help with medical issues/bed pan duty. I can see myself pulling the same thing 50 years from now somewhere in LA or SEA.

Some of you raise the issue of inheritance. I wonder why would Patrick or anyone his age (Ronnie Wood I'm talking to you) agree to that. He surely must know she is with him for that. Is GFE ("girlfriend experience") at that age that much worth it? Wouldn't it be better to leave all his inheritance to his kids (does he have any?) or even to charity? Wouldn't it be cheaper to rent GFE top-shelf escorts anytime he wants some young female company? I don't get the thought process behind this? Is it true that most aging people start behaving like kids, the older they are? God, I really hope I don't end up like this, because this isn't much different from being a blue collar Englishman farang supporting your 5$ a day "GF" in Thailand.

On a related note, I'm surprised there isn't a lot more gorgeous, young women with GFE game who exclusively hunt/cater to old rich/famous. Maybe there are, I just don't know about it? It seems like an easy gig.

Good for him. Not a bad pull for a guy his age. I always liked Patrick Stewart and hope it works out for him. Stewart is also a role model for old age. The guy is still good-looking, well-dressed, in shape, passionate and sharp-minded. That's how I want to be when I'm in my 70s.

I would think he's already established trusts for any kids he has that he wants to bequeath money on; so that money is already gone from his estate; and he's only holding on to what he wants for himself, her and any kids they have.

Stewart works out hard even at this age -- he is fond a quoting Olivier and saying that if you want to be an actor, you can't have a belly.

Meanwhile, arguably the greatest scene in Start Trek -- caught and tortured by a master Kardasian sadist, in the end, Picard keeps his dignity. There....are.....four......lights!
