That is 99% of the people. You can't just magically pimp sober without the hard work of getting used to it.

Maybe you read a different thread than I did. It is obvious not as much fun if he wants to drink. I never said he can't. I said why make this into an event that isn't fun.

It's really a black and white issue, I want to be comfortable and capable of pulling while stone cold sober in a night venue. I currently cannot.

The end result is this exercise will increase my overall energy, confidence, vibe, and adaptability at all hours of the day.

It's something I have to prove to myself is possible. I want immense experience in the field which means going out 5+ days a week - I'd like to avoid the toll on the wallet and body that boozing up all these nights would take. I want a strong foundation of game which means I need to be able to evaluate each approach the next day - I need complete memory for this to happen.

But mostly I just want to do it because I can't now.

You go out just to pull? Why not go out and have a good time and not focus on the pulling?

Honestly, I have always been the type that goes out because I want to have fun. Pulling chick was a result of that. I just talk to everyone regardless of being sober or not.

What I see here is guys going out to score with women. That is their goal. So they drink to get courage to approach women.

I guess that is what I don't understand.

Why not just go out and focus on having a good time and let the other things work themselves out. Like talking to people and not focusing on approaching women. If you just chat up people I imagine some of those people will be women.

I can't drink in LA heavily because of strict Drunk driver laws. I pretty much drink zero alcohol when going out. I have also done a fair amount of solo dolo game.

Heres how I handled it- pretend to drink. Shout-out to Dude3737 for the soda bitters idea. Its usually free or 2-3 buxs max.

No, seriously, just having a colored drink in my hand set the mood, and allowed me to go to the bar (mack on girls at the bar), walk around, and not feel self-conscious.

Socialize, socialize and socialize some more. Talk to everybody, rove around, do circles, who cares! When sober, I cant dance as long- so I spent a lot of time out on the smoking area or prowling from 1 bar to the other.

I'm naturally a very introverted person. Going out five nights a week to shoot shit with strangers isn't always a fun endeavor for me. Sometimes it is, but sometimes it feels like work and is exhausting.

Extroverts regenerate by being around others. Introverts regenerate by not being around others.

I'm defying my "natural personality" by doing this and over time it should give me greater ability to enable my extrovert personality for longer periods and more effectively. This is where the sober game comes into play. I'm essentially cheating when I drink and creating nothing long term.

Making the goal of approaching and pulling gives me a reason to leave the house when I otherwise may not be inclined to. That's why there are other guys doing this. You're obviously a natural extrovert so going out is always fun for you regardless of if you're pulling or not so I think that's where the difference lies.
