I'm interested in checking out Korea some time when I get the chance. Would be interesting to get a comparisson. Also Korean is fairly easy to learn if you know both Chinese and Japanese. The grammar and word order are is very similar to Japanese, while Chinese loan words are abundant (like in Japanese) making a chunk of the vocabulary fairly easy to learn. I've begun studying a bit of Korean lately just out of curiosity (already knew the script, hangeul, so I figured I might as well try to learn some of the language), and knowing Chinese and Japanese certainly help. Don't have any immediate plans to visit, though.

I've met K girls online pipelining and their reception to me has always been positive. And from reading about it and speaking to friends who have been there, it sounds similar to China. Probably not as easy, but the niche there is great.

Pretty much the only people i've ever heard say that Korean girls in Korea are easy are the ones who have never been to S. Korea before. Korea is a place that requires decent social proof which means actual Korean friends and lots of money to throw around for bottle service. If not, you're settling for meager returns and low quality leftover type women. You'd have better luck gaming Korean-American girls in the U.S.

Korea's heyday was like 2003 before the english teacher invasion and the massive rise of Korea's middle/upper class and the subsequent plummeting reputation of most foreigners.

I think girls from SK and China are not necessarily "slutty", don't have a lot of experience with K girls besides pipelining but a few chinese here, most of them do not really "mix", the ones here basically have some white craze which can lead them to be easier to get, hoping you'll "stay".

I've heard many similar statements about S. Korea.

Nevertheless, I'd still like to visit, just to see for myself. Even if it's extremely difficult, I'd still be interested in the language, food and culture. On the other hand, I don't get the impression that Korean women studying, living or travelling outside Korea are terribly difficult.

It should also be said (again) that I wouldn't consider women who've been raised in a particular country their whole lives to be synonymous to those who descend from that country but otherwise grew up somewhere else. The latter tends to act, behave, think, even sometimes look vastly different from the former, reflecting the more the mentality of their country of birth/upbringing. Westerners of Chinese or Korean descent, for instance, rarely behave, talk or hold the types of views that Chinese from China or Koreans from S. Korea do. The same can be said for most countries, I think. Often, environment and peers make up well more than half the package.

If anyone is looking for some insider info about making money in China. Gundam Wing stuff is 100x cheaper in Japan. I used to buy these little figures about the size of a G I JOE, anyway in Japan they were 5 bucks, the same thing in China is nearly 50.

I spent most of my time in Japan with my head buried in a EXPO Toy Show magazine for lack of anything else to do. The nightclubs where I was ran 45 dollars just for entrance. I don't know who is running pickup game there, but the breakdancers I was hanging out with kept telling me not to speak to the women or try and pick them up in the mall... and just as they said, the girls would almost run away on cue. The only girl who expressed an interest in me, did so as I was leaving the country and she was some hip-hop wannabe with extremely bad teeth. I was trying hard to pick up girls too, I'd approach nearly everyone I saw. I even tried to pickup my TA's in the school who all had bad teeth, 0 successes.

Just to give you a little comparison: The first time in China, I had a super sexy gf within a week. The Second time, a super cute (japanese wannabe) within a day (now wife). The Chinese kids in our classes frequently ask us if she's a Jap.

I think that is accurate for Tokyo. You still get that effect in the provinces though.

I normally am not that gutsy when it comes to approaching, but here we have plenty of asian tourists and they're normally in the exact same area I use to come back from uni, since its a pretty touristic area. When I see 3-4 I can go up there and start a conversation with absolutely no problems. Sick!

@dreambig - sorry i must respectfully disagree with you on numbers of hot girls. For the record, i love tokyo and consider it my second home but to say there arent a large number of hotties in seoul is not being accurate. ive found kgirls to have bigger tits and asses. Theyre not as fashionable as tokyo girls, i'll give you that but they tend to have the old fashioned sexier attire that i like (heels and mini skirts) whereas tokyo girls have more of a modern style which isnt always good (read:those ugly ass gladiator style sandals that caught on in america a few years back)

also keep in mind tokyo girls wear a shitload more makeup so that can also skew one's opinion.

Not sure where you stayed but gangnam was the spot. also around hongdae and myeongdong.

In general, I think guys put way too much emphasis on race in determining how they do with the women of any given area. While I wouldn't say race has no effect, it is only one of countless other reasons why a girl may be into you or not.

Simply because you belong to an ethnicity that's often described as popular doesn't mean you can expect to dress like shit, have no style, wit or confidence, be out of shape, not know the language and still expect to get laid. Stayed in Hongdae. Again, I'm not saying there aren't any hot girls. Just that it isn't up to the level of Tokyo. Like I say, I was in Seoul for a whole month and didn't see anything like the same number of girls I wanted to bang. Walk around Shibuya, Harajuku or Shinjuku and it's an assault on your eyes. Endless streams of thin, cute girls. I missed Tokyo a lot after 4 weeks out there.

I like K-girls and have banged several before but comparing the cities, Seoul is just not on the same level as Tokyo in quality or quantity. Shibuya compared to Myongdong/Hongdae? Shibuya by far. Again, Seoul is a fun place and I like it. I really wish Tokyo had the cafe culture that Seoul does. That was awesome. The girls..not so much. Not to mention the incredible amount of cockblocking that goes on there.

Fashion has its role, sure, but to be honest I think the Japanese girls have simply better genetics and possibly a better diet. Little to no plastic surgery and they are still hotter (on average).

Yeah but a town being run by the Klan would actually be easier to get laid in a way. The lynching would be a downside though.

The big irony is that the bigger the taboo, the more interest the girls have in you. The reason the foreigner effect isn't so strong in Tokyo now is that the mystery has gone and their sexual revolution already happened. Korea and China are still going through a lot of development on these fronts.

You can thank the hordes of dorks, clueless idiots, and other gameless fuckwits who went en mass to Japan and Korea back in the early part of the 90's-'00 and made it much harder. It's also true that when contrasted to the Japanese sense of fashion, most Westerners tend to look like bums in my opinion. The Japanese, at least those living in Osaka and other major cities nearby, put a lot of effort into their appearance and are generally very trendy. Similar can be said about Koreans. This is completely different from China, where the average Westerner will look practically like a fashion designer against the horribly bad taste and kitsch most Mainland-Chinese are known for. Returning to Germany from China, I felt like I'd landed in Monaco or something. I imagine when I go there from Japan I'll feel like I've landed in Hillbillyville, Alabama.

The cool local guys also become really wary of being buddies with foreigners too for this reason. It's not because they are resentful of foreigners gaming "their" women..well maybe in Korea and parts of China they are, but in most cases it's because they don't want to introduce potential uncool losers/perverts to their established social circle.
