RE: Reddit doesn't like my Toronto article
This.
Also, the recurrent message one gets from the outrage from all the Her-males of Toronto, is that they all erronously believe that Toronto is a global city. Everyone in the city believes that TO is among the great cities of the world, it's referred to as a mega city, metropolis, most cosmopolitan city in the world, most interesting, buzzing place in the universe and so. Problem is that 95% of those who believe that a) have never been anywhere outside of an all inclusive resort for their 1 week a year vacay as they call it. And b) 90% of the above 95% are originally from some shit hole 3rd world country and while yes for these people, Toronto may seem like the Holy Grail and they fully believe they've made it by getting there. Of course in Toronto, they are driving nice cars on credit of course while back in their shot hole, they were riding a donkey if they were lucky.

So now, here comes an enlightened man, who's been around the world and when you tell them that their city sucks, it's as if you've slaughtered in front of their eyes their first 2 borns. Can't tell you how many times I've gotten into heated arguments with these drones many a time. Even a couple of times, it almost got to a point of no return. At times you just have to choose your battles and know when to let the inferior minds get the last word.

There's definitely a HUGE complex of inferiority in this city. It desperately wants to be considered in the same category as the true Great cities of the world: Paris, London, Rome, Athens, Moscow, New York City, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, Bangkok, Shanghai, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Buenos Aires.

Newsflash: Toronto is at best, a 3rd rate regional city in North America, let alone the world. Even a so called 3rd world city like Bangkok, blows it out of the water in every category possible: infrastructures, transportation, environment, climate etc...Heck, even my internet speed in BKK was way faster than what I'm currently getting while paying 50 bucks a month for it! And I'm not even including entertainment, the quality and attitude of women into the equation! When I tell people here about that, they look at me as if I'm some kind of alien. Their only answer is "you must be kidding! No place is better than Toronto!" Of course none of these people who claim that TO is the shit have been anywhere outside of their 5 star resort on their measly 1 week per year get away or vacay.

Guys, Toronto is a lost cause. There's no hope in that city. The men are for the majority, herbs, nerds if not out outright fags and mangina feminists. I really have a hard time calling them as "men" nor calling the "women" women. I refer to them as Her-male (the opposite of a she-male). To all the guys in TO, one word: do not waste your time and money on these femicunts but rather focus on building a skill, an online bizz/portable skill and or enough capital then GTFO of this wasteland! The grass is DEFINITELY greener, WAY more greener elsewhere!

Telling them the truth about their society is like telling a kid Santa Claus is a lie. This is all they know in their warped, cold world.

You hit their emotional buttons and they will attack Roosh, not the message. Because the message is true.

Btw, Roosh, someone suggested you do a video rebutal in response to some of the comments in those articles. I'm sure it's going to get way more explosive than it is currently. Oh and your next article should be :
10 Reasons Why Toronto Is The Worst City In The World or 10 Reasons That Make Toronto THE Most Overrated City On This Planet! Or 10 Reasons Why Toronto Is NOT A Major City. I'm sure it's going to get the hamster go into the stratosphere! Hamster

The comments are even more hilarious than the article.

They're like random permutation of "progressive" buzzwords.
Racist! Misogynist pig! Ugly douchebag! Rape culture! Women objectification!! Creepy! Children toucher!!
All women are beautiful in their own way! And my favorite: "fat-phobic"!

Hope you can reopen the comments for more butthurt.

Just reading comments everywhere from guys not even in Canada makes me really glad I found this forum. It's just hard as hell to talk to and chill with white knights and "blue pill" guys. I hate that term but I had to use it.

Roosh - you should start casually throwing it out there in every article that you're Turkish. I bet these PC people won't dare call a non Anglo racist.

Your perspective seems a little extreme to me, but I'm open to it being true, as Toronto falls below my own personal standards.

I've been to Hong Kong, Bangkok, Shanghai, Tokyo and NYC and my feeling is that Toronto does compare to some degree.

I'm always impressed with the food in restaurants in Toronto. Public transportation does leave a lot to be desired, but it does get you where you need to go. Toronto boasts a nice island with acceptable beaches and the architecture isn't lacking. There is plenty to do and enjoy. Plenty of amenities. A fabulous Latin, Ballroom and Swing dancing scene.

I've lived in a large city (Tianjin, 13 million) which failed miserably as a world class city, so I know what sucks. I've also lived in Grand Rapids, which is great for its size, but informs me as far as what a city under 1 million can really pull off. Its nice, but not world class.

I'm not ready to brag about Toronto, but I'm curious about why you think that it rates so low.

Could you go into more detail, just for my edification.

RE: Reddit doesn't like my Toronto article
Toronto could only compare on the surface from a neutral's point of view. Once you spend enough time in it, and after having spent time abroad in these true great cities, you realize how shallow or thin the scene is. There's no real identity to the city, no real content or matter.

It's only on the surface. Yeah the ethnic food can be delicious, but it really depends where you go. The so called thai restaurants trying to sell you shitty pad thai at 12 bucks a half a plate or the so called sushi places selling you cheap fish for 20 bucks comes to mind. While the same authentic delicious pad thai can be had for buck anywhere in BKK or the freshest, most tastiest and primest piece of sushi at any of the myriads of the sushi bars in Tokyo for about 10-12 bucks till you can't take it no more.

Each time I return to TO from HKG I feel like I'm in some 3rd world City. There's no way that in any aspect can TO compete with Tokyo! Absolutely none! It would be an utter sacrilege if not pure and unadulterated blasphemy to put Toronto in the same category as Tokyo.

And don't get me started on the lack of manners of people in Toronto! Specially from the weaker sex! Absolutely appalling!

I've offered my take on Toronto before, but I have another theory about cities.

There are three types of cities to me;

'Fun' cities, places where people go to party and have a good time (Vegas, Rio, Amsterdam, Havana etc,.)

'Business' cities, where the people are there almost solely to work and stack paper (Toronto, Singpaore, Zurich etc,.)

And finally, World-class cities that offer both prime money-making ops and lots of fun (New York, Tokyo, London etc,.)

'Fun' cities are places where you can have a good time if you go for a few weeks, but not necessarily places you want to live. 'Business' cities are soulless and boring if you have interests beyond your 401k, and World-class cities? Those are the places that you want to be.

Here are my ratings for Toronto.

* - Dismal
** - Acceptable but not Ideal
*** - Average
**** - Very Good
***** - World Class

Toronto

Architecture - ***
Logistics - *
Nightlife - **
Quality of Women (appearance) - ***.5
Quality of Women (personality) - *
Weather - **.5 (* in winter, **** in summer)
Restaurants - ****
Cost of Living - **
Public Transit - **
Opportunities to Generate Wealth - ***.5
Education - ****
Entertainment - *****
'Fun' factor - *.5 (0 in winter, *** in summer)

Total: 35

About the only area in which Toronto is 'world-class' is entertainment (it has 3 major sports teams, a good symphony, numerous galleries and museums and an international film festival - there's something for just about everybody), but the rest of it? This is why Toronto has the massive inferiority complex it has; it's a business city that's trying to be all-world, and it's failing (maybe rolling back some of the draconian laws, taxes and entitlements would help?), and the people know this, and get defensive. It's a boring city full of boring people, and Roosh just kicked the hornet's nest by telling everyone how lame the women are.

Let's just do a similar tally for the city Toronto so desperately wants to be...

New York City

Architecture - *****
Logistics - *** (averaged, ***** Manhattan, * Queens etc,.)
Nightlife - *****
Quality of Women (appearance) - *****
Quality of Women (personality) - ***
Weather - *** (averaged)
Restaurants - *****
Cost of Living - *
Public Transit - ****
Opportunities to Generate Wealth - *****
Education - *****
Entertainment - *****
'Fun' factor - *****

Total: 54

...and the so-called red-headed stepchild of Canada...

Montreal

Architecture - ****
Logistics - ***
Nightlife - *****
Quality of Women (appearance) - *****
Quality of Women (personality) - ***
Weather - ** (averaged)
Restaurants - *****
Cost of Living - **
Public Transit - insufficient data...
Opportunities to Generate Wealth - **
Education - ****
Entertainment - ****
'Fun' factor - ****

Total: 43

I'd be curious to know how many women in Toronto are on anti-depressants.

Has anyone found a survey that shows a correlation between feminism and anti-depressant usage?

RE: Reddit doesn't like my Toronto article
Good thoughts.

Personally, despite being Canadian, I've pretty much ruled out living in Canada (because I like what big cities have to offer and the good options for me could only be Toronto and Vancouver).

Vancouver fails immediately. It isn't as big as it pretends to be and the housing prices pretty much guarantee a corporate slavery. I do NOT do suburbs.

Toronto is a city I've seriously considered. Its housing costs are high, but that is true in many decent cities. What kills it for me is the terrible winter weather (I can take it, but why would I want to?), the feministicism, the and the poor public transport options.

Generally, when I visit Toronto (which is often), I never leave the downtown core. Essentially everything I do (with one or two exceptions) is within walking distance of the Eaton Centre.

Right now I am looking to live in Hong Kong. I very much like Beijing, but the winters are brutal. I don't mind HK's July heat at all and January is what I consider beach weather.

I've also considered Bangkok, but the city is so awesome that it is overly populated with creepy foreigners and I don't wanna make the problem worse by settling there.

Hong Kong is pretty expensive on a housing front, but other things are much cheaper than Toronto. Restaurants are more affordable and Western import products are sold for a fair price most of the time.

And there is so much to do there. I feel as though I party non-stop when in HK.

I'm the King of Beijing!

What happens when you deny your true nature?

You need to take medication to numb the pain. The pain is healthy, and instead of listening to it, feminists try to ignore it.

It will never go away.

It will get passed on to another generation and a breaking point will be reached. At that point, society will not be able contain the pent up rage and anger. There will be a revolution. There will be even more pain.

Nature has been at this game a lot longer than we have. Nature is the house. The house always wins.

Feminism is arrogant and ignores millions of years evolution.

Nothing cures depression like a good old dick pic Banana (the police would show up at your door if you tried that in Toronto, no joke)

But seriously...1 in 4, and that's being liberal (probably closer to 1 in 3).

If it makes women uncomfortable, ruins a woman's day or in any way implies a woman is not as good as a man, a Toronto girl will call the police.

So, what would be the equivalent of an un-wanted dick pic to a man?

I can think of a few- Seeing a fat woman. Getting rejected by a girl?

Can we call the cops if a girl rejects us?

@Nonpareil, not disputing your ratings except for the weather in Toronto and New York. Isn't the weather in both the cities similar? Cold winters with moderate snow and hot summers? In fact, I think most of the snowstorms we get come from New York. You gave NY 3.5 vs 2.5 for Toronto.

RE: Reddit doesn't like my Toronto article
Toronto gets 3 months of snow type Winter from dec-feb and 4.5ish months of cold weather from late oct to late march area. Varies from year to year. Last years Winter was super mild with barely any snow. This year, early Jan to late feb was snow and this Winter was much colder then the previous year. Montreal is way colder and has way more snow btw but other things make up for that. Buffalo gets more snow then Toronto usually which I think has something to do with the lakes so NYC definitely has different weather than TO.

Suits,
You're definitely on the right track by wanting out of Toronto and Canada all together! Good for you man!

Yeah BKK is a mega awesome city! To avoid seeing the creepy sex tourists, simply stay outside of the rawdy areas, avoid the lower Sukhumvit parts (1-16) and if you want to stay near the action yet away from it at the same time, Prom Pong, Chit Lom and Thong Lo are awsome! Or if you want to save money, stay near Ekkamai or Onnut or Victory Monument.

Another option very near the fabulous Hong Kong is to stay in Shenzen or Guangzhou which are awesome cities in their respective ways, very happening for sure and just a short subway ride from HKG (for SZ) and 2 hours train from GZ. It'd help if you have some Chinese skills, if not, no biggie, it's not something that you couldn't pick up with time and effort.

Heck we've had snow storms yesterday and the day before! Mid march and a snow storm. Mind you I remember the first year I moved here there was snow in early May...

Last years Winter was super mild with barely any snow. This year, early Jan to late feb was snow and this Winter was much colder then the previous year. Montreal is way colder and has way more snow btw but other things make up for that. Buffalo gets more snow then Toronto usually which I think has something to do with the lakes so no NY and especially NYC doesn't have the same weather as TO

Cold winters with moderate snow and hot summers? In fact, I think most of the snowstorms we get come from New York. You gave NY 3.5 vs 2.5 for Toronto.

Toronto's winter is longer by 2-4 weeks and it's summer is shorter by the about the same duration. More nice weather is more days to hunt.
