Thing is, it's not that girls want you to be an asshole or some bad boy. They want to see you don't give a fuck. That's what it comes down to. And they observe you and examine you and fuck with your frame looking you deeply in the eyes for holes in the armor. If you can stand up to her then you can stand up for her. I like what you're saying here, because I feel I can identify with it a bit. I tried being an actual dickhead, going from being a true 'beta' or whatever the fuck it is to being an asshole... and I still didn't get laid.

It's only when I chilled the fuck out but kept a degree of aloofness, indifference and rebellion as well as remaining civil and emotionally light-hearted (girls, at least initially, don't like deep) that I started getting somewhere.

What I think a lot of guys forget is that girls aren't as secure as men on a personal level - if a girl came to me in a bar and told me I was skinny and needed to lift I'd just laugh and chill and call her out on it in a casual way, the reason being because I'm secure enough in my physique to not give a fuck.

However if you're a big/intimidating/good looking guy and you go straight up to an average to cute girl - 6,7 and some 8s merely for illustration - and call them out on a something they're wearing or their features, then chances are they're going to be taken aback and turned off.

This is a good point, and there might even be some cases where a particular badboy type is so unfamiliar to an upper class girl she doesn't even recognize the cues ( although I think speech accent is a pretty hard class marker to hide.)

Also, there are different dimensions of "badness"-- for instance musicians even if totally broke are often very intelligent, I played with a guy whose father was the Republican Vice-Presidential candidate. I disagree for several reasons and it is by EXPERIENCE. Girls do like bad boys, but it depends on what they been arrested for, if a guy has a history of rape or murder yeah most women will steer clear of those type of guys, and if a guy is DOING drugs yeah it depends if she is a drug head herself but if she has any personal responsibility not to get involved but I do not really consider these "bad boy" traits per se but being idiots and self destructive and that is one way to end up getting abused and toxic relationships and how stupid the bitch is.

However the bad boys I noticed that women are attracted to , are guys with a powerful frame and it makes sense. George Clooney in ocean's 11, DID prison time in that movie for an example but he was also a good guy. I can give countless examples of bad boy traits women are attracted to.

So after I began studying what these bad boys had in common I had to start learning the behavior and mentality and it started to get me somewhere, I started to vibe with it. And it is true women will rarely approach but I am learning when a woman is attracted to me or wants me to say hello. If a bad boy is truly bad , he would have a "devil may care" attitude. Basically he is not attached to whether or not he gets laid and women will sense this. They have good intuition.

So with that being said. If any man wanted to adopt such bad boy traits. The best thing I did for me is dig through my history and see the alpha/bad boy traits I already had and learn to use it and reshape myself because for a long time I have been an AFC or "nice guy" and I understand why I been rejected because they get this vibe from me but when I display beta characteristics it is a big turn off to women.

While the main drug dealer who he was living with, one of the biggest weed dealers in my town-city, also dresses like the archetypal gangster skater type of bad boy, and has a 9/10 face and is 6foot (could probably be a model), and had good social sense and was a good artist... my friend swears up and down, that this guy achieved 100-150 lays in one summer, in about 4 months, in this drug house. The last girl i fucked actually, dated this dude in highschool, and she told me that he told her that this guy told her that he had a 300 bodycount by the time he was 17 (he was cheating on her constantly btw, she stayed anyway).... so apparently, he's probably hit around 500 lays by that point in the summer im speaking of, which he would be about 20yo in that epic summer. When i was in highschool i remember girls responding to two main types of guys.

1: Good looking guys who had status (drug dealer, sports athlete, ect)

2: Good looking guys who didn't care about the hot girls, or pretended to not care (that was me in highschool, i was very silent, but good looking)

A lot girls fawned over me because of my face and nothing seemed to effect me (Depression) and i appeared productive, but it's not like i capitalized on any of the potential results in front of me. But it was a good attitude to maintain in order to attract girls. I had the legit hottest girls in the school looking my way.

There was another guy in my school who was really good looking, he also acted the same, he got a lot of interest from the girls, but did nothing about it, from what i know.

If you acted stoic but were average looking, the girls didn't notice you existed.

Funny thing is i was a total soy boy in that time in the sense i was weak, didn't lift, didn't care to act like a man. From what I observed, girls just cared about your looks and status over everything the most lol
