The guy deserved to be knocked out just for prancing around like an ape doing a display of dominance. And the gay guy was pretty pathetic - missed the kick to the balls and then almost fell over. Impressed by the power of the sucker puncher and the aim of his kick to the kidneys, if not by his lack of sportsmanship. The ape guy will be lucky if he isn't seriously injured from the fall on the pavement. That is much more likely to screw you up than one punch.

That actually could have been dangerous, given his head hit concrete. But serves him right for trying to show off by slapping around a gay guy. And HE ended up the one leaving the scene in cuffs when he finally came to. And he'll forever be immortalized on YouTube!

Even though it was a sucker punch, I feel it was justified knocking dude out. It looked like he was asking for it. To be honest, this would be a rare occasion where I would probably shake the dudes hand who sucker punched him. Curly haired dude sucker punched the gay dude, so I see no problem with someone sucker punching him.

Why take the risk? He has no reason to think he can beat him. He doesn't know anything about the guy except that he is an aggressive asshole who is picking fights and punching people in the face. He could be an MMA pro for all he knows. I wouldn't expect someone to fairly fight a rabid dog or any other type of vermin. He just eliminated a pest using the most expeditious means.

If 2 guys agree that they are going to fight, rules of fairness apply. If someone is just attacking people, no rules apply - you are basically just intervening in a crime. By law you can defend others using the same level of force the victim could use to defend himself.
