I think age of consent in Spain. is 12 and 14 in Germany. that being said I wouldnt go below 13 or 14 with legality.

Nah, I think the age of 13 has some rules to go with it. I would stay away from a 13 year old in Spain and play it safe with someone a bit older, like 16.

Actually, a U.S. citizen cannot go under 18 abroad. That was passed by Clinton. Now the key is IF the USA finds out but I would not chance it. Also, the U.S. lawyers that deal with "abroad cases" are hungry. If they cannot get you on actual sex, they will throw some "abiding a minor" charge of something. Either way, they WILL fukk up your record if they catch wind of you banging an under-18 in a foreign land.

In the Dominican Republic (even though the AOC is 18), you see plenty of under-18 trying to get with travelers. Usually, it is the girls without proper ID. The "usual act" is when she cannot show proper ID at the hotel (or guard at the apartment), you give her some money to catch a motocoach and go right back to area you found her and get another chick (hopefully 18). I feel this question is best answered by older guys. That being said, as a young dude having had plenty of encounters with girls in the 18-22 range, I feel like my sweet spot in the coming years is going to be in the 23-28 range.

My issue thus far is that with younger American girls I find a large disconnect. Gio's description of them was actually quite on point-they just don't give a fuck, and I personally don't really connect all that well with that. I'm not a party guy-I don't really like alcohol much and I don't do any drugs. These girls just want to do molly, drink, party, etc. That's cool, but I don't really care all that much for that. And, frankly, I think I'd tend to bore them.

As Gio said, these girls have few cares. I'm simply too serious for that. Even as someone in their same age range (late teens) it was the same story. We're not on the same wavelength.
Sure, I can hook up with them, but I've not really enjoyed it all that much.

Yes, you can get more baggage with the older girls in the 23-28 range. The thing that intrigues me, however, is that they've had some time to go through with the whole "party" thing and see more clearly what they want and who they want to be. They are old enough to have figured some things out and perhaps become more open to a more laid back approach (sans drugs/alcohol/etc), but still young enough to maintain a good physical appearance. That, I suspect, will work better for me.

Time will tell if I'm right, of course.

haha no lad Saville can't hit on the young girls legally in Spain, our age of consent (UK) applies to us worldwide. When i was in croatia recently I got approached by a girl who ended up being 15, I stopped talking to her straight away, think the age of consent is 14 but not for us lad. I avoid hitting on 16 year olds for the pure fact that a girl that age could be lying and won't likely have any ID (provisional driving license given to you when you turn 17), 17 is safer.

For UK citizens, I think it has to be an offence in the country you're visiting. Unlike US citizens, who can be prosecuted for having sex with anyone under 18 in any country they visit.

I wouldn't go below 18 anyway and prefer over 20 because they are probably going to be more experienced and better in bed.

A lot of people misunderstand age of consent laws. Like Athlone mentions above, the lower bounds generally come with some sort of number of years difference. If the age of consent is 16, that only applies to men within a certain number of years. Generally, if you're 21 and over, then the legal age is 18.

If you stay in the U.S. you're going to be disappointed. Even when I was going to professional school most of the girls still acted like they were in the 18-22 parties, gossip, and reality TV stage although they were older. My female co-workers are almost all in the age range you described and they're extremely immature. It's impossible for them to take anything seriously, so people who are capable of having serious conversations are "boring" to them.

This also should be clarified. Above, I mentioned that the lower bound for non-consensual sex for Americans abroad was actually 16. That is, in fact, the lower bound, even for men over 21. Considering what the law would allow, my lower age limit would be mid to late puberty (both mental and physical)...numerical age (in years) is completely irrelevant, as far as I'm concerned. If you have the body, mind and behavior of at least a mid to late adolescent, then you're good to go, in my opinion.
