My longest dry-spell, since getting into game ran from May 2013 - July 2014. I'd been using game for several years by that point and had gotten acceptable results, but in April I went back to school for one last 9 month stretch.

I picked up a regular right away in early May and basically just slept with her till I finished up school, as I was working 20 hours a week and exhausted from my classes and had no interest in gaming or any personal interests the involved leaving the house.

After that I was in my hometown for three months with no money, which sucked. Did not get laid. Did not get any action what-so-ever.

Upon moving back to Beijing in April 2014, I spent two and a half months hustling for start-up cash. Once I had some cash coming in, I started gaming again and within a week of getting rolling, had gotten laid.

It was a sucky period in a way, but I have no regrets, because it got me to where I am now, which is exactly where I wanted to be and I'm getting more pussy than ever now.

4 months. But when I first started learning game I came out the gate with 3 quick bangs. I then regrouped and realized my self-improvement was way to low, so I focused on that for the 4 months. Since then about 2 months was longest dryspell.

Currently erasing the chalk board and letting 2 FBs loose, along with prospects that don't meet my standards. I'm not dropping lower than I have been in standards, that would be gross territory. Back to self-improvement for a while.

I've passively been reading up on mainstream game since high school, but I was a little bit of a game-denialist and didn't take it too seriously. I could have dry spells of almost a year back then.
Since January of 2014 I started really get into more niche-game with redpill ideologies and looking up videos like RSD and Sasha Daygame.
I started applying the concepts religiously and making major life changes.
Since then, my longest dry-spell is generally 3-weeks to a month. It's a "dry-spell" in the sense that I won't have sex with a new girl in that time frame but I averaged about 1 - 1.5 new girls a month so it was actually just my natural rhythm of securing new bangs. Started this year with one new lay and I'm hoping to average a new girl every 2 - 3 weeks.

Here are my excuses:


1. A stubborn refusal to approach anything below a 6 or 7

My dick refuses to move for anything fat, over a certain age, or not good looking enough. My notch count is still very low compared to most of you guys here, but my consolation is that if I were forced to post pictures on the RVF of every single girl I kissed or banged (even once) in my whole life, there is not 1 girl I would be ashamed about. To be clear, I don't in any way claim I get an 8 or higher every time (my average is about 7) but there's not 1 girl I wouldn't hesitate to kiss or bang again provided she looked the same today. For me quality of looks always wins over notch count each time. Even the in the many, many years spent as the most blue pill beta ever, I could never chase girls that were just "ok". I have tried lowering my standards, as many have suggested but my boner has never cooperated, so I don't even try anymore.

2. Approach anxiety

I have approached and opened more girls in the past 3 years, than I ever did in the 15 years before that.
Despite this the anxiety and making excuses is still strong in me. It's probably been the hardest part of me to change.
3 years have not been enough. But now, I just sort of know that if I have the anxiety in the first place, it's a good sign she will pass the boner test.

3. Laziness

I think motivating yourself to do anything that requires hard work and time consistently on a daily or weekly basis is one of the most difficult things in the world.
The best solution I have successfully used to resolve this is Roosh's program of doing something for 1 hour each day or doing 1 approach per day. Those 2 simple but very effective pieces of advice are some of the most helpful I have ever read in my life.

4. Fapping

Probably one of the main causes of number 3. In terms of doing lots of approaching and gaming it really is like kryptonite for me. I think it has SOME value if you already have a date that you are pretty sure might lead to sex and you don't want to finish too soon with her...but when you just want to go out and talk to new girls it is pure poison.

From september 2014 to october 2015. Since then, 3 new notches only. Having a regular right now. All ranging from 5 to 7. I approach many girls from 5 to 8.

By the way, I don't want to do any game denialism, and my game is still lackluster (and my value) but when I see that the average dry spell here is maybe a couple weeks/ 1 month at most, I wonder if it is more telling of the quality of the forum member's game, or mine who sucks so much ass lol.

Honestly, since I started reading about Game and got into RVF over 3 years ago I've had several flings, SNLs, and several relationships with almost no dry spells at all that I can recall. Before game I used to jerk off all the time, and several times a week even when I was in a LTR, but it was an unhealthy LTR with low sex that was basically DOA. But since starting Game i've probably only jerked off a handful of times, like less than 10 times in a few years I think. Now when I get horny instead of jerking it I just channel that energy into going out and hollering at chicks, and I may have fucked a couple fatties to get through a few nights, but like eating junk food I don't make it a habit. The longest was after divorce 8 months but I then went on a whoring spree of bitterness.Lasting 6 months.

Right now it's like 2 months and I don't give a fuck. Also other things in life take over or after a trip..Usually I get in my head until I'm hit by an epiphany .I will ignore warm approaches I won't do any cold ones..I'll walk around the city until I figure out what is fucking with my head.

Although being on a dry spell sucks it has been interesting to see how creative you get when you have a need. I've been self coaching myself through it by just saying: don't' panic, relax. Hopfully this to shall pass

I think it's a sign that you are not pushing yourself hard enough (and your game is getting weak) if your dry spells are too long.

The year of 2010-2011 was when I got laid the least. I think I went 7 or 8 months with NO ACTION whatsoever. I was depressed as fuck after a breakup and back then (for some reason) I liked to wallow in that shit. I got laid my first month into game, then I went four months (going out 5 days a week, to boot) with a ton of near misses before finally breaking through (for good, essentially).

That was the toughest four months of my life and I even cried once, not because I was sad about a girl, but out of pure frustration of not achieving my goal. The funny thing is I look back on this time with a lot of good memories and even nostalgia about how I made it through this time.
