Just in from my on the ground accommodations concierge in Moscow - from the USA - loves Moscow more than LA where he has family:

You have to remember that expensive doesn't mean it's a good club. Soho for instance is past its prime and full of fat rich guys looking for easy women. You're better off going to Nightflight.

You also have to understand that it's very hard to get into the many top clubs, almost impossible without being well connected.

A couple I can recommend; Simachev. A decent little club with nice women and popular with foreigners. A local hang for many artists, models, and Moscow's hip.

A new club getting a lot of hype, but I haven't been is a place called Chips on Petrovka. Only know it the trendy place to see and be seen now.

The Krasni Oktrabre area has some hip, upscale places like Strelka, Belka and Fantomas. Again, not easy to get in. Good luck.

There are four really good places to go out in Moscow: Solyanka (hipster heaven), Rodnya (more edgy, great music, young crowd), Simachev Bar (tasteful decadence) and Strelka Bar (a bit older, serious, intellectual crowd). They are hip, they have a great atmosphere, quality music, and beautiful interior. So if you don't want to waste your time, don't go anywhere else.

The problems start when you want to actually waste your time and find some hidden gems. Because there's none, really. The "good" clubs are too occupied maintaining their cult status to allow for anything that would be risky and weird. Besides, exorbitant prices make sure that those who would not give a fuck simply stay away (meaning you get the same boring stuff all over). The "bad" clubs are busy copying what their patrons have seen on an occasional trip abroad, so you won't even get a taste of the authentic Russian kitsch, which could be quite exciting (head to the smaller towns for that).

Finally, you should also be aware of the Moscow speciality that we call face-control – implemented by the clubs that don't have enough confidence. Speaking English while passing through the security always solves this problem though, because the imbeciles at the entrance don't really know how to deal with foreigners.

The entrance to most of the clubs is between $10 and $15. The drinks are super expensive, beer is about $5, vodka shot can be around $10 at some places, cocktails range from $5 to $20 per drink. Usually the fun starts around the midnight and it's not rare for the parties to go on till 5-6 am. Most places are opened 24 hours in Moscow, so you can easily go and have a great meal right after clubbing.

Nightlife
- During the week places generally empty out around 12pm because most people live outside of the centre. Try your luck on a weds and thurs but save yourself for the weekends (12 - 6am).
- Ditch the trainers. Tie and or blazer is a no brainer if you want a chance of getting past the bouncer.

Here are some places I visited that are worth a mention (In no particular order):
Gogol - Low end, scrappy. Some 7's walking around for easy pickings.
The bar (1 minute from Gogol) - Cool good-looking people, small venue not too crowded, minimal techno, tricky face control.
The Real Mccoy - Low to midrange bar. Slut filled / touristy vibe.
Temabar - Annoying layout, hard to get served but popular with expats and locals. Fair amount of talent.
Club che - (Latin club) Busy most nights. Packed on weekend. Milfy vibe but saw some hotties.
1920 bar (Next door to Che) - Indie / mainstream. Nice crowd. Small venue, packed on weekends.
Gypsy & Rolling stone bar - Mid to high end nightclubs, face control, Nice decor, mainstream, plenty of women. Worth a visit.
Strelka - (2 mins from Gypsy) Nice bar.
Solyanka - Hipster central. Did not see any real talent and there was a hefty entrance fee. Nice enough venue though.

Checked with one of my Moscow guys knows the Nightflight owners well for years http://www.nightflight.ru/ says Nordic owners make the best steak and food in Moscow - full on pros down stairs at the bar $300+/- a pop.

ha. i went to moscow when i was married about 8 years ago. the only club I went to was nightflight. that was an amazing experience. yes, they were all pro's but...imagine, walking into a place where there are literally 100+ 18-25 year old super hotties from all over easter europe, dressed to kill, who want to fuck your brains out (and you to pay them)...all with there being very few if any other dudes in the place at all.

just girl after girl after girl coming up to you and trying to be her sweetest/sexiest to you so that you chose her over the other 99 hot ass young hookers there.

it was an experience i'll never forget.

and yes, i did close a p2p deal there but it was worth every euro.

@BCZalgyris - I have good contacts in Kiev - an extremely different place from Moscow - all of Moscow booming and very little poverty - you have to go out to the far flung provinces to find broken old soviet industrial cities like Irkutsk that the Uzbek and Kazahk drugs dealers have flooded with poor quality cut heroin and worse Krocodil which literally rots the flesh off your body like chemical leprosy far worse than crystal meth - even scares hard core injecting heroin addicts with HIV sober. A problem in most old UA industrial cities as well.

Point is there are neighborhoods in every UA city nearly that bad when you leave the core centrum areas. I am told a $20 or 20 Euro note folded into a discrete palm handshake will get you into any club in the city but there has been an increase of using roofies to eff up westerners (sex tourists especially) and drag them back to their hotel rooms and beat and rob them - a particularly bad incident occurred in Odessa last month to a naive American visiting an AWEB DB that set him up for a hammer bashing to the head by her Cop boyfriend - left him for dead - so make sure you have a good driver on call and do not get shite faced stupid drunk in UA as all bets on your safety are off. In Moscow the club owners will call a wise guy controlled taxi to get you home as the wise guys who own the clubs do not like having their paying patrons screwed with in Moscow - bad for biznyess - In Kiev and most UA cities you will get rolled and robbed if you black out and 50/50 chance of a serious steel toed boot head bash in for the heck of it for being a drunk sex tourist.

I have a good friend from the midwest who loves Ukraine and has a decent young rotation of 8s 9s 10s there who all want him to marry them and save them back in the USA - solid player with good game - met a young hottie from Aweb (Anastasia Web) who fell in love with him - he's a football player gym regular workouts with high earning professional income. His 21 year old hottie lived in a clean home but it looked like it was in a severe state of disrepair compared to Moscow - times are tough in Ukraine with Moscow charging market rate energy prices for UA daring to move towards EU and NATO sphere of influence.

The pics I saw put her at a decent 8.5+/- she insisted on showing off her stuff at the nightclubs strip in Odessa and attracted some of the locals attention that wanted to take her away for some local caveman gang banging at last call and my friend stepped up and had a 9MM at his head and an AK-47 in his ribs - by the bouncers/off duty Odessa police no less looking out for their thug friends - she saw the shit storm she started and ran over calming the situation down speaking rapid fire Russian and they left.

Over a beer he will admit he was scared shitless and that things in Ukraine due to the current failed economy can go to shit before you blink an eye and the local cops/wise guys rule as they are one and the same so DO NOT piss them off anywhere in the UA - mostly only a problem late at night never had any issues during the day he said but you can still be cased as a mark.

No different than not wandering off into the barrios or the hoods of the USA - so keep solid situational awareness at all times and you should be ok.

Wow man that is a scary description of UA thus I don't think I will act anywhere near as aggressively as your American friend and will definitely watch my drinking to minimize problems with the locals. For now I am using my trip to Ukraine just as a scouting mission and am pipelining hard on sites like singles.ru to set-up some meetings before I get to the country. Since my preferred game is night game and I have a difficult time approaching strangers randomly on the street my concentration will be the bars & clubs thus the question about "face control". Thanks for the tip on style & fashion, I think I will end up wearing designer jeans and a sport jacket then for my trips out. I think my Hugo Boss suit might be overkill, don't you think?

Don't mean to be too scary - no worse than many USA Urban core city areas - downtown and nitelife areas fairly safe but if you stray into the wrong alley or neighborhood watch out - Used to go to Chinatown all the time in Boston after clubs closed at 2AM for great late night Chinese food and to sober up next to the now defunct combat zone (Stripper Bars) and never had a problem - we had a Brit IT contractor who was stumbling around blind stupid drunk on the edge of china town and the old combat zone and got rolled, mugged and robbed of his passport and wallet cash credit cards so can happen in Boston as well as Kiev or Odessa - as long as you do not get stupid blind stumbling drunk normally no problem. I have had some good success with Anastasia, but I have my "eyes open" whenever I deal with them. I am in a relationship now with a woman I met from the site. I can say that she is "definitely real" and we are definitely into one another enough that I have interviewed an immigration attorney with a Ukraine para-legal to help with the process if she and I continue at the pace we are going.

I have met a number of really nice women from Anastasia, but I have a process that I follow without deviation. I have written and phoned many there and had correspondence with quite a number. Of course I have never been sure I have been writing to the actual woman until I talked to her on the phone and even then you are not certain unless she speaks some English. You just have to know what to watch for and be on your toes. After she gets to know you on the phone a bit she will usually tell you if she is not the one writing to you.

This is the process I use. When I find a likely prospect, I will write to her and initiate a bit of letter writing enough so that it seems a mutual interest and that she is interested in me (or the letter writer is saying so). Then I place a call through Anastasia's phone introduction office to call her. I always write to her and tell her that I would like to call her and speak with her on the phone. If she agrees, I follow up with the call. Also I mention in the letter that I will have the call arranged at her convenience. This is only courteous since many of them have hectic lives and that way you know when you call that she will be ready to talk to you. Sometimes I tell them that I will ask for their phone number when I call so that they will be ready to give it.

As soon as the conversation with the lady and the Terp from Anastasia has smoothed out and everyone is feeling friendly, I ask her if she would mind sharing (NOTICE I SAY SHARING, NOT GIVING) her phone number with me for the future. Bingo, if she likes you then you have it and the Anastasia Terp usually writes it down and reads it back to me. Then I mention to her that I would like to call her maybe the next week at a convenient time if she would like. If we have hit it off, I have her phone number and a good time to call again. I also mention to her that I have a translator that I would like to arrange for the call between us. I have never had a woman say no to this after giving me her phone number. Some have told me while I was on this initial call to hang up and call her right back. They know the games and charges that Anastasia plays. So I have my translator call her back right away.

For the next call I use my trusted translator to arrange the call and all future calls between us while we get acquainted. Then Anastasia is "out of the loop" rather quickly except for the first few letters and the first phone call. The rest is up to me and the lady on how we communicate in a genuine manner for the future.

If the time is appropriate in the "friendship", you can ask for her mailing address by saying that you would like to send her something. If she asks what, say flowers. I have never had one say no to this. Then I have Flowers To Ukraine, a US based service that covers Ukraine and is COMPLETELY SEPERATE FROM ANASTASIA, deliver flowers to her and take a picture, sending it to me. That way you get to see how she looks in real day to day life. I have had some surprises with this deal before and was glad to pay the price of the flowers to learn. With this procedure they will confirm the address, confirm the lady being the same one and also they will get the RIGHT phone number to speak with and deliver the goods to the RIGHT woman.

By getting to know a number of women this way, I have found quite a few have said "Do not write me any letters, you are wasting money". They say they are not writing the letters and prefer phone calls or to use email if they have it and they will provide this to you.

I have had two or three women that were very shy with giving their phone details out to me. Some will do this out of innocence and some will do this out of being a scammer. You will be able to uncover her eventually if she is a scammer by paying close attention to the "relationship" and details you both have with one another. But anyway these "shy" women were ones I wanted to pursue anyway. So I managed to obtain their addresses through the Anastasia Phone Service (yes I had to make several calls through Anastasia because they would not give me their numbers on the calls).

I did this by telling them I wanted to have something delivered to them and got the address. When I place the order with Flowers To Ukraine, they always ask for the phone number, but if you do not have it tell them and allow them a little extra time to deliver the flowers when you provide the address. What happens is that when they go to deliver the flowers at a random time and the woman is not at home at the address she gave you, they will leave a card asking her to contact them so that they may make the delivery. She always gives them the phone number right to her cell phone. They put it into their system and it is recorded on their books under your account and past orders. You can do the reverse of this if they will give you a phone number and not thier address. Just tell Flowers To Ukraine that all you have is a phone number and to call the lady for delivery. They put the address in your file of orders.

The best thing to do is to get Anastasia "out of the communications loop" as soon as is possible and you can do this just like I have done in the past. Also when you go to meet them in person, tell them that you want to use your translator because you are a stranger in their country, do not speak any of the language and need someone to help you that you know and trust. This is your translator. You have to get them comfortable with you using your translator. If they are truly interested in meeting you they will not really care who translates in most instances, but some will insist to use "thier translator" which is from Anastasia's affiliate agency locally. You can agree to do this the first time, but tell them that you would like to use your translator for the second meeting if you both decide to have a second meeting. Every women that wanted to use "her translator" for the first meeting was agreeable to this proposal.

I have also met and known several women who were with Anastasia and after direct communication with me and meeting me with my translator, have not liked the way that Anastasia operates and uses their profiles. Some of them removed their profiles because of the way the local agency used them to the agency's profit without thier knowledge.

So if you want to use Anastasia, you can do it as long as you know that you are working with an agency that will cheat you if they are given the opportunity. You will find real, beautiful and genuine women there. Some will not look anything like thier profile pictures.

As luck would have it for me, the lady I am with now looks better in real life than in her pictures. Anastasia has removed my profile per my request but has yet to remove hers despite several requests (the local agency she uses).

I have had some good success with Anastasia, but I have my "eyes open" whenever I deal with them. I am in a relationship now with a woman I met from the site. I can say that she is "definitely real" and we are definitely into one another enough that I have interviewed an immigration attorney with a Ukraine para-legal to help with the process if she and I continue at the pace we are going.

I have met a number of really nice women from Anastasia, but I have a process that I follow without deviation. I have written and phoned many there and had correspondence with quite a number. Of course I have never been sure I have been writing to the actual woman until I talked to her on the phone and even then you are not certain unless she speaks some English. You just have to know what to watch for and be on your toes. After she gets to know you on the phone a bit she will usually tell you if she is not the one writing to you.

This is the process I use. When I find a likely prospect, I will write to her and initiate a bit of letter writing enough so that it seems a mutual interest and that she is interested in me (or the letter writer is saying so). Then I place a call through Anastasia's phone introduction office to call her. I always write to her and tell her that I would like to call her and speak with her on the phone. If she agrees, I follow up with the call. Also I mention in the letter that I will have the call arranged at her convenience. This is only courteous since many of them have hectic lives and that way you know when you call that she will be ready to talk to you. Sometimes I tell them that I will ask for their phone number when I call so that they will be ready to give it.

As soon as the conversation with the lady and the Terp from Anastasia has smoothed out and everyone is feeling friendly, I ask her if she would mind sharing (NOTICE I SAY SHARING, NOT GIVING) her phone number with me for the future. Bingo, if she likes you then you have it and the Anastasia Terp usually writes it down and reads it back to me. Then I mention to her that I would like to call her maybe the next week at a convenient time if she would like. If we have hit it off, I have her phone number and a good time to call again. I also mention to her that I have a translator that I would like to arrange for the call between us. I have never had a woman say no to this after giving me her phone number. Some have told me while I was on this initial call to hang up and call her right back. They know the games and charges that Anastasia plays. So I have my translator call her back right away.

For the next call I use my trusted translator to arrange the call and all future calls between us while we get acquainted. Then Anastasia is "out of the loop" rather quickly except for the first few letters and the first phone call. The rest is up to me and the lady on how we communicate in a genuine manner for the future.

If the time is appropriate in the "friendship", you can ask for her mailing address by saying that you would like to send her something. If she asks what, say flowers. I have never had one say no to this. Then I have Flowers To Ukraine, a US based service that covers Ukraine and is COMPLETELY SEPERATE FROM ANASTASIA, deliver flowers to her and take a picture, sending it to me. That way you get to see how she looks in real day to day life. I have had some surprises with this deal before and was glad to pay the price of the flowers to learn. With this procedure they will confirm the address, confirm the lady being the same one and also they will get the RIGHT phone number to speak with and deliver the goods to the RIGHT woman.

By getting to know a number of women this way, I have found quite a few have said "Do not write me any letters, you are wasting money". They say they are not writing the letters and prefer phone calls or to use email if they have it and they will provide this to you.

I have had two or three women that were very shy with giving their phone details out to me. Some will do this out of innocence and some will do this out of being a scammer. You will be able to uncover her eventually if she is a scammer by paying close attention to the "relationship" and details you both have with one another. But anyway these "shy" women were ones I wanted to pursue anyway. So I managed to obtain their addresses through the Anastasia Phone Service (yes I had to make several calls through Anastasia because they would not give me their numbers on the calls).

I did this by telling them I wanted to have something delivered to them and got the address. When I place the order with Flowers To Ukraine, they always ask for the phone number, but if you do not have it tell them and allow them a little extra time to deliver the flowers when you provide the address. What happens is that when they go to deliver the flowers at a random time and the woman is not at home at the address she gave you, they will leave a card asking her to contact them so that they may make the delivery. She always gives them the phone number right to her cell phone. They put it into their system and it is recorded on their books under your account and past orders. You can do the reverse of this if they will give you a phone number and not thier address. Just tell Flowers To Ukraine that all you have is a phone number and to call the lady for delivery. They put the address in your file of orders.

The best thing to do is to get Anastasia "out of the communications loop" as soon as is possible and you can do this just like I have done in the past. Also when you go to meet them in person, tell them that you want to use your translator because you are a stranger in their country, do not speak any of the language and need someone to help you that you know and trust. This is your translator. You have to get them comfortable with you using your translator. If they are truly interested in meeting you they will not really care who translates in most instances, but some will insist to use "thier translator" which is from Anastasia's affiliate agency locally. You can agree to do this the first time, but tell them that you would like to use your translator for the second meeting if you both decide to have a second meeting. Every women that wanted to use "her translator" for the first meeting was agreeable to this proposal.

I have also met and known several women who were with Anastasia and after direct communication with me and meeting me with my translator, have not liked the way that Anastasia operates and uses their profiles. Some of them removed their profiles because of the way the local agency used them to the agency's profit without thier knowledge.

So if you want to use Anastasia, you can do it as long as you know that you are working with an agency that will cheat you if they are given the opportunity. You will find real, beautiful and genuine women there. Some will not look anything like thier profile pictures.

As luck would have it for me, the lady I am with now looks better in real life than in her pictures. Anastasia has removed my profile per my request but has yet to remove hers despite several requests (the local agency she uses).

I wish I could take credit for this process as it is better than a private investigator really but a very worldly guy developed it to take the lady out of an agency or dating/social site's orbit and get her into your sphere of control in a smooth and polite way as quickly as possible - if they do not cooperate in any step well difficult women only get worse so NEXT them immediately and move on to the next target of interest (TOI).

Bottom line is this flushes out real women really quick and especially culls the criminal element pro hos as criminals never give up their domicile address and never meet with a witness terp who is local - an interpreter who works for YOU and can suss their vibe. Better yet is to meet the TOI's family and see if the mother waits on her hand and foot - or if she takes the lead fixing your dinner and if the family is warm and welcoming or cold and aloof - this family dynamic is probably the best indicator of the girl's personality you will ever get - if she is not doing her own cleaning, food shopping, cooking and laundry you have a pro or princess on your hands.
