Previously I kept my unorthodox political beliefs hidden, but I've started sharing them on Facebook and to my surprise I've found a few things:

1. A decent number of people actually agree with me.

2. So far only one person has actually freaked out and called me a bigot and defriended me.

3. One or two more people did freak out and call me a bigot (not a sexist, I was talking about trannies) but did not defriend me.

4. Some of the people I took for narrow minded progressives actually have more nuanced views than I thought, even if I ultimately disagree with them.

Anyway, just thought I'd post this because I know some red pill types are sitll 'in the closet' so to speak, and I'm just reporting that at least in my case the social consequences for 'going public' about it weren't as high as I thought they'd be.

If you don't mind me asking, what sort of red pill beliefs were you espousing? There's a good amount of shit that most people will not ever accept as truth.

A lot of guys say not to share their red pill beliefs, but it leaks out without trying. It's not easy to always wear a mask.

I can't even control my face when I hear a female America accent in Europe and turn my head to see a fat cow. The sneer is automatic.

Its a slippery slope my friend, in my experience at least. My friends who I thought would really welcome having their eyes opened seem to reject the idea completely. It sucks because I think it would be cool to have a social group of all red pill males. We could tear it up, socially and financially. Oh well. Good luck in converting your friends though.

Edit: haha I suppose it is very much like the matrix in a sence. Morpheus didn't go around on all those crowded streets with a handful of red and blue pills offering them to everyone, he only offered it to Neo and their small little matrix crew.

I have shared a few views, always careful to present them as personal choices, not universal truths which should make them easily defensible in theory (not wanting to marry etc). I pretty much got hit with the "you hate women" hammer right away by most females, including my mother and sister. Most males got uncomfortable and switched topics, some agreed heartily.

Red pill views aren't meant to be openly displayed all of the time. They are "red pill" because they are relatively nearer to life's core truth. People do not appreciate or enjoy having core realities routinely shoved in their faces.

There are more aspects to this that would require a long written treatment, but here's one: "Red pill" refers to your relative grasp of ugly truths versus pretty lies, and of how people actually operate in relation to their stated claims about how they operate. But then it shouldn't be difficult for you to see how expressed "red pill" viewpoints are not normally taken on their own terms or in themselves. People in their hind brains are scanning those expressions for what they reveal about the person delivering them. If you are urgently presenting "red pill" truths, could it mean that ... you are threatened? Upset? Dissatisfied? And what does that signal?

Most people most of the time are not going to entertain major shifts in their grids of reality; they simply are going to integrate you into their prior-established grid. Attempts to reorient people may at best be taken as quirky and interesting by people who are relatively less deluded and are strong and secure.

I think Carl Jung said it best: "Most people can't handle reality". I recommend not sharing this stuff too much with other people. All it will do is cause you to be ostracized or criticised (even if it's not justified). I personally like watching the interactions of others knowing the underlying jiu-jitsu match that's really going on between the two people (typically male-female, but there's other red pill truths that apply to same-sex friendships). It makes me feel like I have an edge in the world, so why share that with anyone else? Yeah it gets lonely but here's what you gotta do: Not share this info with your current friends so as to keep them for hanging out with, but come to the forum when you need some red pill interaction in your life. I'm not sure how old you are but the older you get and the older the people you hang out with are, the more receptive alot of them will become (esp. guys who've been through some shit). In the meantime, you see the world for how it actually is and not for the illusion, so use this to get what you want out of life.

Belief in egalitarianism is so strong and fervent, that if you entertain any skepticism towards it, you'll become a target. Even if you don't spout an opposing view. Maybe you're not convinced that say, mothers should work. You are flouting what every civil institution is saying - how dare you question everyone else? Your disbelief is a threat to all the glorious progress we've made.

I speak this way all the time, even to people at work if they broach the topic, probably to my detriment.

Talking in person > posting on facebook. Everyone has a couple friends posting 'out there' shit on facebook, you'll just blend into that group. If you preach in person, you get to see their negative reactions in person .

It may not be that belief is fervent, but that commitment is strong, for reasons of self-preservation.

If you've taken a job or accepted a role, it means you've agreed to undertake and defend an arrangement to a large extent regardless of whether it's true or good. When your boss does something off-base you're unlikely to point it out. And by extension, when there's something off-base about the social/political/economic setting in which your boss and his friends reside, you may not be serving yourself by pointing out all of its flaws and hypocrisies.

Instead of spelling out all the ugly reasons why people shut up and take their pay, people are better served by glossing it over. When you blend all of those ugly reasons from across the population together, the language of mass denial probably translates best into a bland, treat-everyone-equally habit of thought and expression.

People talk about the red pill on the internet like it's some kind of secret but I find that it's a pretty common philosophy among well adjusted successful people even if it's not explicitly spelled out. One of the girls in my rotation told me that feminism has made her miserable. She's a business consultant and a total ball buster at work but wants to come home and submit to a guy who's in charge.

I know I don’t want to become a recruiter, but I have wondered about how to help a friend or two. I really don’t want to see them learn the hard way. One of my best friends is thinking about getting married but he was in agreement with the few articles I’ve shown him in person (“Meet the Real biggest losers” on the Heartiste, stuff like that). It’s not surprising that he got a lot of pussy before this girl and would continue to do well afterwards. I am thinking that as long as I don’t apply the heat directly to his snowflake, then he might come around by reading some of the sites or if I showed him the forum.

As for the girls, tell them your views on marriage and get ready for a 3rd grader’s “Love conquers all” spiel.

I try to help some of my more helpless friends, but at the end of the day I don't reveal my participation on theredpill or here. You gotta bring people in slowly, and usually only works when they want to learn it themselves- when they seek out the information. Can't force feed them.

And some of my views are pretty radical so, you can imagine I don't exactly want my social group to know what I do on the internet.

I occasionally leave a realistic comment about what works and doesn't when a distant friend posts a heart-throbbing. hamster-riffic note about how he's a nice guy and all that. I don't comment on female statuses about how they got dumped, men being pigs, and other kinds of "I wouldn't change any of my experiences because they made me who I am" bullshit. That would be pointless. And I never post anything on my wall anyway.

I find my friends and associated friends are three ways about it.

1. Dudes who have an inkling of alpha in them usually warm up to whatever the fuck it is I'm ranting about, and they look at it like I'm re-enforcing their belief system just no one has put it "that way." My brother is a clear example, he literally shares all red pill knowledge I share from having been a drug dealer for so long, but he just doesn't know the terminologies and shit.

2. The beta who just says "you're fucking crazy man," and laughs it off while his female over-lords call me an asshole and he sits there like an expectant puppy feeling like he did justice for "men" (see: manboobs) everywhere.

3. The dudes who aren't really responsive and just look at it as a "well life is working out for me," so they don't really have much to say, but when they see something I ended up saying come to light they start to say "Man, you were right."

I don't know, I'm very vocal about my beliefs, and I have no issue with talking about red pill shit, even with my mother, and people seem to be ok with it as a whole. I don't look at it like I'm on the other side, just that I'm apart of a system, and I'm seeing it for what it is and making my own route.

To be honest - I sometimes find women are more open-minded to the logic of Red Pill thinking than guys.

Since women know instinctively what turns them - they on their own sense of what feels right and wrong. Whereas most guys are still stuck in the mode of only believing what girls say, and not what they actually do.
