Some girls experience PMS, Premenstrual symptoms, a state making them very sensitive and generally weird. My experience tells me that even themselves have a hard time understanding what is going on when they get into that state.

In most cases, when the girl I'm dating, and previous ones, have been showing this kind of behavior I have either:

1) Sat her down on the couch-bed-whatever, poured her a glass of wine or sthg strong and left her to her own thoughts
2) Sent her to bed to chill down (I put on an episode of Curb or read some journal)
3) Banged her. (It eases them up in many cases!) I jokingly call it "my secret headache pill" between us


I have never sat down and acted their shrink, trying to "understand what you're going through babe" like I used to do years back. In these situations I, similar to how Roissy puts it in the 15th commandment of poon, stand firm like an oak tree and go on with whatever I was doing. I have also never denounced those occurences. It doesn't make sense to me doing that since it's more of a biological reaction she's experiencing, rather than some genuine shit-testing.

Lately, since we've been getting to know each other better, she has expressed lots of appreciation for my ability to deal with her mood swings (which aren't really that bad).

What makes me wonder is if the "you're so understanding of my emotions" compliments I get still are kind of sublime shit-tests. Perhaps placing me in a very "niceguy" kind of light?

How are/have you been dealing with girls PMS and those weird spontaneous crying pangs which sometimes occur?

I think we need to ressurect the menstrual hut practice of ancient times. Just lock em up or have them lock themselves up in a hut and stay there until the craziness subsides. Their hormones are going crazy, they're going crazy, so we gotta go crazy? Shit no.

That's why I avoid "touching the core" and having some kind of discussion. There is no logic or conclusion to be derived from those states of moodiness.

So how have you dealt with it? Ran out of the house? Doesn't seem sustainable. In my thinking, It still activates YOU in HER drama and is why I prefer to be neutral/unflustered.

Ever since one lizard ruined my pillow case, I've avoided all other girls when they're on it. I suggest doing the same.

Just don't take whatever they say or do personally. Banging them is my preferred option. If you don't mind parting the red seas it can shorten the menstrual period as well. Once a girl I was dating figured that out and she would beg to get fucked when she started cramping up. Remember to put down a towel or do it in the shower.
