I've met plenty of warm and welcoming German people, both in Berlin and elsewhere. You won't see that side of them if you're doing business with them, but the folks you see being social are usually very open and down for anything. Just speak the language and you're halfway in, the other part is being social and aware of the culture.

well, i guess the difference is that people like me, lucien, and augen sehen actually live here in berlin. from what i know amongst all the people i have met from europe and elsewhere is that berlin is the cultural and nightlife capital of europe. if you want to judge by actions instead of words-come down here and try to rent a flat. see the competition you have to put up with. the whole world is trying to move here.
the entire east side of the city seems to be made up of people 35 and under. its unlike anywhere i've ever been and i know i'm having a great time here.

i lived in st petersburg for 2 years too. of course no girls compare to russian girls in my books but honestly these two cities are neck and neck. i cant even count the hot girls in berlin, and as an added bonus half the men here are gay-tipping the odds in our favour. and you will have a far easier time getting one night stands in berlin than in spb.

Couldn't agree more. Been all over europe and Berlin is still hands down the easiest place to get laid and I am never disappointed by the overall quality. The nightlife is broad so if you are coming for a weekend it can be very hit and miss.

Im a native, moved back to the city last year after a long stint away and in terms of ease its literally poosey paradise. It really blew my mind how easy it has become to get SNLs here, seriously. Back in the days, it used to be quite different.

When I lived in Berlin in 2009, I paid EUR 175/mo for rent (2 roommates, went out together all the time). The city is off the charts in every respect. Gmanifesto's best pickup line and opener go a long way in that city. Never have to wonder if girls speak English.

To get back to the point of the thread.. hotspots? Berlin is one big hotspot. It's in a class of its own. Should almost have a Berlin section on here. Very much worth a visit for a few months.

The lead singer of Local H was recently severely injured in Russia during a mugging (may never sing again). In Berlin (and ~ all of Germany), you pretty much never have to worry about late night safety at all.

I have concluded that I must have been unlucky the 4-5 times I have been to Berlin as I never found it all that great on the chick front....I think its more to do with my general attitude to German women (same as my attitude to UK women)...I have mentally eliminated them....anyway interesting thread.

Appologies for commenting on an earlier part of the thread, but been working hard on gaming the plebic provinsial princesses of slavic decent in a well know asian mongering destination - an interesting endevour. I'm planning a trip and am considering Munich, Berlin or Hamburg - I intend to day game mainly in shops, parks etc playing the lost tourist. Not so mad about the nightlife, where would I be best off? I am familiar with Hamburg so know it would be a good choice, Munich looks like a nice, sophisticated place which is kinda what I'm looking for. Berlin being a major city has obvious appeal but I'm put off by the fact that it seems to be overrun with hipsters; I'm a pretty conservative guy.

Haha the funny thing is I've had some great times in Berlin, but these have all involved getting off my face on drugs with other tourists. My next trip I hope to be a more sedate, sophisticated affair. I was hoping that maybe there are other sides to Berlin?

Hamburg for example has nice parks, beautiful lake, trendy shopping areas with upmarket women, this is what I looking for (only reason I don't go back to HH is because I've been many times already).

You will find a lot of Spanish speaking people over here. And naturally lot's of people from all around the world. Few IRTs, lots of turks (the turkish girls are hotter than most frauleins, even though I am a sucker for blondes) and a few polish chicks.

Here is my opinion about Berlin after living here for more than 3 years.

Quality of girls ranges normally from average to poor, no that there are a lot of fattys, but the hipster culture make women to wear stupid and unsexys clothes, short unattractive haircuts plus an excess of piercings and tattoos.

Of course there are some quality girls around but it is not easy to spot them unless you go to same kind of posh-wannabe places like Fenix or 40 Seconds.

Getting laid could be easy in case you use social circle or something like meetups. Making approaches in bars will probably end in some confusing looks from the girl for the unusual (for them) situation, talking to someone you don´t know yet it is considered weird here.

In discos normally the norm says that you shouldn´t approach a girl unless she gave you before a look "inviting" you to do so, if you don´t follow the rules, your approach most probably will end with a cold undiference when not a total silence.


If you are into electronic musics and drugs, it is not hard to get laid if you do not mind fucking a girl more covered in tatoos than Roosh in hair. In some places I saw they just fucking in the toilets when not outside in the parking behind a car, but I am getting to old to these things and these are not my style.

And if you come here like an (Orga/Era)smus you can rely in students parties and so on to get enough notches.

The rest will have to rely as I said before on social circle, specifics meetings or events like language exchanges and why not with some night game, you can land some foreign chick not yet contaminated by the weird relationship Berlin culture and act like in other European city.

And if you think you can kill it just wearing way above the average, I just have to say that I saw one guy being denied the access to one place (Visionare) just because we was wearing too elegant, and I am not talking about a suit just chino trousers and a nice shirt....
