A few times. Where are you staying? Borgata was the place to be a few years ago, probably still is. I usually stayed at Caesar's (rooms for ~$50/night).

I am staying with a buddy at his apartment, Although we do have a comped room at the borgata for the evening in case we get drunk here.

Last night I played poker for a few hours and then hung out my buddy and three of his male friends (brilliant, I know). We ended up meeting this cougar in her mid 30s at a lounge and hanging out with her for a few hours, going to a different bar inside Borgata. I honestly couldn't figure out if she was a hooker or not.

She ended up coming up to this kid's room with us and hanging out for a few minutes. For awhile there I thought we were gonna end up running a train on her or some nonsense.

She ended up splitting a cab with this kid and not fucking him. He did get her number, though.

I should probably just roll solo to one of the lounges tonight.

I'm interested in this thread, as I ALWAYS forget about AC. What's the vibe like? Anything like Vegas? Foreign chicks? Good casino clubs/lounges? DTF chicks?

I love AC. I used to live an hour away and go 3 nights a week!!

This may sound obvious but hit up the lesser known casinos for lower limit
gambling. $5 blackjack and craps. Borgata table games start at $25 and $50.

The Taj Mahal has a club inside called the Casbah. $20 entry for guys and free for women.
It's open all night. We used to hit that and then hit up the breakfast buffet in the same casino.

Check out Tropicana. It has a really nice bar and restaurant scene inside after they rebuilt it.
Always tons of girls there. That's usually where you can find me.

The girls are all friendly and from out of town looking to party. Don't dress like a bum or hoodrat.
This is the venue to wear your suit or club clothes. Best to have a room in the same hotel
as the club you're going to. Invite them up for an after party, smoke, line or whatever.
You know the deal

The Pool at Harrah's is also good.

AC has a bus station, train station and international Airport. From the bus and train it's only
like 5 blocks to the casinos. If you fly in just get a cab to take you anywhere you want to go.

If you guys are in or near Manhattan you can catch a direct bus to AC from Port Authority.
It's like a 3 hour ride and maybe $25-$35.

My friend's father owns a small airport in upstate NY. We almost flew in one time in his 3 passenger
plane. In fact I'm gonna call his ass right now and see what's up!!

If you're looking for some rub'n tug action grab one of the local AC paper newspapers down there.
You'll see them everywhere. Flip to the back and you'll see a list of Asian massage places. The massage
joints on the boardwalk are "clothing on" places. You'll want the ones that say 24 hours and are off
the main strip. Don't worry. It's all cool.

If you hang out outside the casinos on the street after dark you'll see all the black hookers start appearing.
They have some kinda deal worked out with the cabbies. They'll come right up and approach and you'll see
3 cabs following her lurking like vultures to give you a ride. It's funny There's a high rise hotel past
the Showboat where they take you. It has hourly rates. I can't remember the name. I've never actually
been to it.

I've done the massage thing a few times. It's fun. But I've never picked up any hookers. Sometimes
I'll chill outside with my coffee and they'll approach me. So I just start talking to them like regular girls.
Some are actually pretty cool to chat with. That's how I find out all this shit.

I wouldn't recommend buying drugs off the street. Always bring your own or deal with someone you know.
They're a lot of hustlers looking to scam you. Beware.

Ballys Wild Wild West is in my opinion the best place for lower limit gambling. I'm pretty sure they have $5.00 blackjack and craps tables.

I was just in the B lounge at Borgata and there wasn't a seat to be found so I left. There was some talent. I've mostly seen dark haired chicks. Not a huge mix.

It doesn't compare to Vegas though. Just walking to the elevator from the garage at the Venetian you'd see attractive girls.

I have only played poker, seeing as how it has kind of been my job since I got the boot from overseas work.

I might have been able to bang the cougar I met last night even in my limited game, but hanging out with 3 dudes probably put a hinder on that.

And yeah I took a bus from Port Authority. That place is a bit of a freak show.

I might go hit up a strip club with these guys. We will see.

NJ in general is beat in the winter. Shoulda hit Tropicana. There's a lot of little bars and restaraunts inside.

The whole Jersey Shore is much better in summer. A few years ago, Atlantic City was pretty good year round. If you were to go back in the summer and maybe hit a few other parts of the coast in addition to Atlantic City, you would probably have a completely different opinion of it.

Agreed. That's the first place I go when I'm in town. I start at Cuba Libre, which is in Tropicana, and then move on from there.

I wandered around the Trop Monday night and it was totally dead.

I spent most of time at the Borgata's B Bar and Long Bar. Both were average and apparently B Bar is a bit of an escort hang out.

The highlight of my trip was hitting up Izakaya. I'm not big on sushi but there's was pretty solid and fairly affordable.

Yeah, AC is fairly dead in winter aside from NYE. Once colleges let out in spring, it's a whole different story.

It's far from Vegas, but it can be a nice change of pace from the NYC/Philly scenes. It's only an hour from Philly and I'll get out there at least once a month in the summer.

I will second the Wild Wild West suggestion at Bally's. Great for low limits gaming and in the summer time it attracts a lot of young pussy due to cheap beers, mechanical bull and beer pong. I usually start there for its proximity, mid-Boardwalk.

If you're looking for a nice room, I really enjoyed staying at the Golden Nugget last Summer. It's in the Marina area near Borgata and was recently fully renovated. And a lot more reasonable $$-wise than Borgata as well.

I'm kinda surprised there wasn't an AC datasheet too. I'll throw in my 2cents. I live about 25 minutes away, and AC is the only thing that kept me sane during the winter months.

Casinos worth going: Harrah's, Borgata, Caesar's, Bally's, Tropicana

a Maybe: Revel, Showboat, Taj Mahal

Avoid: Atlantic Club, Resorts, Trump Plaza, Golden Nugget

For the one's to avoid: there is just nothing that separates them from the others. No night clubs, rundown, and a clientele that I can only imagine being incredibly geriatric.

The Maybes: Revel was supposed to be the next big thing in AC when it opened last memorial day. The casino is mammoth in size, 2nd tallest building in NJ, but it has already filed for bankruptcy in less than a year, and has done a miserable job in building up a client base. Granted (I have not seen it personally) the casino is beautiful, and there are some nightclubs to check out HQ, Royal Jelly Burlesque, but if you are on a budget there are definitely other options.

Showboat is home to the House of Blues, which is probably the only saving grace to the casino. Drinks are cheap too

Never been to Taj Mahal, just because there are better options.

I'll rank the next 5 based on my personal enjoyment and the best potential for a single dude:

5- Bally's: I've had back luck at the table's here so this ranking is solely because of the Wild West Lounge and its proximity to Caesar's. Wild West Lounge has $2 beers and $2 Jim Beam shots all night even on Friday and Saturday. The clientele is remarkably average, but for the price, you can get nice'n loose here and then head right on over to Caesars >>>

4- Caesar's: Home to Dusk lounge, and the Pier shops (high end shopping and dining). When I went to Dusk on a Tuesday night, the crowd was surprisingly good (and good looking) for a January night. Caesar's also hosts a lot of corporate getaways and events, which packs the place with out-of-town promiscuity.

3- Tropicana: The sheer quantity of bars, restaurants, clubs, blows every other casino out of the water. For the men who love dance game: Cuba Libre, and the Tango Lounge are essentials.

Carmine's Italian (the same one that is in NYC), Ri Ra Irish Pub, and the Sports Bar are other good spots.

Two clubs here: Providence and Anthem. Providence was a complete waste of time when I went. Though other people have said they have enjoyed it. Obviously if you can dish out for bottle service it'd be worth it. Never been to Anthem, but is trying to brand itself as an afterhours club.

My favorite part is that there are $5 craps and roulette tables on a Saturdays. You'd never find that at Borgata, Harrah's, or Caesar's.

Its worth to note that there are always tons of bachelorette parties being thrown down here. If you know how to crack that code solo, this place is your jam.

2- Borgata: The most popular casino in AC. It pulls in almost twice as much revenue monthly than the 2nd highest garnering casino (Harrah's). Minimum's are $10 all the time, $15 on blackjack, which is the first indication of the highroller mantra being thrown out. B-Bar is a good spot, but $10 mixed drinks and wines are a turnoff. If you have time to waste, throw $5 into the electronic poker machine at the bar, and the bartenders hook you up for free.

Two clubs here: Mixx and mur.mur: never been to Mixx, but people seem to either love it or hate it. mur.mur on the other hand, was pretty kick ass when I was there. Goodlooking crowd, and a large, crowded (but open) dance floor. Like everything in Borgata, its pricey.

Borgata also gets the best acts in Atlantic City, they have a huge ballroom that doubles for a concert hall. I saw Neil Young here for his Hurricane Sandy relief concert, and he blew the roof off. Whatever your jam is, Borgata will have at one point.

1- Harrah's: The only reason this is ranked ahead of the Borgata is my success on the tables. Besides the purely anecdotal bias, Harrah's is home to the Pool. Killer nightclub complete with a giant-ass pool right in the middle. While the pool is not off-limits, no one goes in, except for drunk-ass bitches who are trying to be funny, or some blue-pilled loser trying to impress some girl.

Wednesday night is industry night here, and the place is hopping even in the dead of winter. plus google search Ace City Promotions, and you will be able to get on the guest list for free. (easy way to save 20 bucks).

The x-Bar (I think that's what it is called), is a solid casino bar, with strong drinks. Plus I saw a scruffy old woman wearing an eyepatch here simultaneously making my day, and reminding me that I still do live in Jersey.

Chunnel's data is spot on. Remember this, too. The less a particular Jersey Shore town was hit by the hurricane, the more volume it will have this summer. My part of the coast largely avoided the hurricane and I have heard that hotel reservations are way up. Places like Seaside Heights, on the other hand, will be going through a rebuilding phase. I know Atlantic City was hit, but not nearly as hard as other parts of the coast. It should be pretty good there this summer.

Yeah Atlantic City was not hit nearly as bad as the reports made it out to be.

AC plus everything in Cape May County will be packed this summer.
