ROFL! Truly hypocritical. I could understand (in some crazy fashion) if it was just about a woman raping a woman, but a 13-year old.... I am at a loss for words.

Wow. I can't wait to leave the western hemisphere. This is truly the most fucked up thing I've heard all week and I've been reading alot of manosphere stuff all week. "good rape" Hahahhaha seriously? Is it "good murder" when a woman kills a man too? I realize it's fake but still...

Lol, this reminds me of a story I read a while back about a girl recollecting an incestual experience with her brother. She didn't describe it as a good incest, but she did say that she enjoyed it and the two of them entertained the idea of buying a house together so they could fool around away from prying eyes. One of the comments I read was that, if it was an article from the boy's perspective, he wouldn't have remained anonymous. He would have been burned at the stake.

Swope was fired in 2000, in the hangover days of the strangling political correctness of the 1990s and before Web 2.0 unveiled just how much hatred of feminism there was out there (message boards, comments under articles, etc.). And on the bright side if you look at the Wikipedia entry, his firing got a lot of media coverage and probably helped his career.

I'd venture to say he MIGHT not be fired now.

All that said, the play's justification of rape is beyond hypocritical considering it's staged to protest violence against women which it actually celebrates by making drunken rape seem A-OK.

This unmasks the real thrust of feminism, which is: female = good; man = bad. For someone to get fired over pointing that out shows how closely we've come to the old Soviet Union. Thank God or whomever for the internet, which I think has done more to unravel feminism than anything since Al Bundy.

Never heard of this before, thanks for posting (though post the date in the description next time). Like DOBA, I suspect he wouldn't get fired for that now - more likely there'd be a campus 'controversy' with various people taking sides. It'd come down to most people finding the monologue's content objectionable, but because it's Feminism with a capital F, they don't want to be seen as attacking it, and running into the arms of some conservative crackpot.

Manosphere writers should appropriate that phrase and link the story each time time they do. "Man, I took this girl home the other night. She resisted at first, but all in all, ' it was a good rape.'"

The funny thing is, if this case was real even if it was or was not consensual, it would still count as statutory rape. Yes let's justify everything wrong because we are hamsters!

What is also interesting is that they changed it to age 16, and removed the it was a good rape.
