I've pretty much put myself at a 50% risk of having HIV now. If it's just paranoia, I think it's time to move where there's more banging opportunities than girls who are getting paid to fuck on a nightly basis (Koh Samui and Cambodia have both been dangerous for me). I like the sound of the Philippines especially for the HIV rate and also because of the quality open to whitey there. I think I might go establish a harem or get all lovey dovey on some fake bitch.
If I do have the bug, I'm considering three options.
1) Bullet to dome.
2) Skydiving without a parachute.
3) Drive as fast as possible on a motorbike into the side of a building.
No matter what the choice, it only seems proper to have El Mechanico or Ali film it. Preferably Ali if he agrees to have a meltdown directly after. We can put down a bottle first if that's what it takes.

Sorry to triple post, boys.
But people who live in a country forever and never get to know it drive me nuts. Met this cool English backpacker guy earlier tonight and then this other Englishman who's been living in Cambodia for 5 years showed up just as the bar was closing. I talked the newbie into getting a tuk tuk for a day and just driving as far as we could out of the city until we found somewhere to stop. Bit of an adventure.
He was totally on board, and even though I had reservations on committing to that type of drinking binge, it would have been a blast. We took the tuk tuk all the way to my room to pick up some money and then the guy who lives here proceeded to talk homeboy into believing that it's routine for poor people in the sticks to eat people out of sheer poverty.

Trip got called off out of irrational fear and homeboy proceeded to try to start an argument with me about how he knows this place so much more than me - while I'm sitting there not even arguing back. He was getting pretty aggressive about it and I daresay I thought a couple times about knocking him out on sheer mannerisms alone, though he was a bit of a brute and I assure you it would have been some kind of challenge. That didn't concern me too much but it seemed like a ridiculously dumb thing to go to blows over.
So I wandered off and found a blowjob instead.
In any event, reminds me why I travel alone. Even if cannibilism were an issue here, which travel advisories imply it is certainly not, I'm pretty sure us three big boys could have handled ourselves in the big, bad countryside of Cambodia. At the least, folks would have had to kill us before they ate us, and at that point who really gives a shit?

Knowing how to properly ride a motorbike in SEA will increase your enjoyment of the place by 50% easy. The amount of adventures you can have for such a cheap price is amazing.

Cambodia attracts the worst expats/retirees in Asia. Junkies,dealers, bums,drunks, bitter old men, crazies and scam artists from all over the globe. Not generalizing here, there are some good ones too but are few and far between.

I don't think that except for the occasional serial killer weirdo, there are any cannibals around anymore, even in places like New Guinea or the Amazon. Maybe in hellpitts in Haiti or parts of Africa where there are some voodoo beliefs around.
I've been to the sticks in Cambodia and most other Asian countries.. I visited a girl's family in Battambang for about 4 days.
If you're still there, then stay out of the nightlife a few nights, get up early and get some real life experience under your belt. Highly recommended. Forget the tuk tuk. Hire a motorbike, get lost. Find a way home somehow, Have a beer at night and have a laugh about it.

Yeah, I wasn't sold on going after being up all night anyways, which is why I just didn't go. I've still got a few weeks here. And the tuk tuk was only because foreigners can't rent motorbikes in Siem Reap.
I will go on this trip. If you've read a lot of my posts, you probably know these types of trips are kind of my forte. Just trying to get some work off my plate first.

A few posts ago I mentioned a girl who woke up hotter than she was drunk and asked for "taxi money" in the morning. Went to give her a generous $5 (way too much for a taxi) only to make it $10 because I didn't want to deal with getting change.
Well, ran into her again last night while I was eating in the beer garden outside this disco - went to meet up with this California guy there but we must have got our wires crossed because I never saw him. So she saw me sitting there and she came and plopped her sexy ass in the seat next to me and wanted me to go with her and friend to this other bar. I was trying to say no as I wanted to scout out some of the cuties eyeing me in the disco and get this -she pays for my bill - dinner and all. Says she "owes me money." Then we got a tuk tuk to the other spot and she pays for the tuk tuk. Then pays for my beer.
Later on, they ended up talking me into going to sing some karaoke with them, and at this point I'm wondering if I'm being set up, but fuck it. We hop in a tuk tuk and headed about 30+ minutes out of the center and down these muddy-ass roads, parts of which are nothing more than giant mud puddles - me, her, her fat friend, and some cambodian guy that was sprung on the fat friend. At one point me and dude even had to get out and push the tuk tuk because the roads were so fucked.
Ended up at some back-alley karaoke spot being run out of some old couple's house - with dirty concrete walls and floors and fucked up furniture. Stacks of beers and singing karaoke until daylight. I did end up footing a decent bit of the bill, but it wasn't one of those ripoff karaoke spots - $25 for 20 or more beers and ice and our private room from 2am until 7am or something like that. I threw 20 on the bill, homegirl picked up the rest, and her fat friend paid for the tuk tuk for the night.
Tuk tuk driver was even in there partying with us, and he ended up passing out - I think he was pretty drunk already. Girl's all drunk and dancing and singing Cambodian songs at me and making me walk her to the bathroom so we can make out - then gets drunk enough and starts hanging all over me in front of everyone.
She insisted on coming back to my room early morning and we passed out, woke up and got a blowjob, and then she took off without asking for a dime. She even gave me a brand new SIM card for my phone to make sure I call her this time. LOL
I'm guessing she figured I never called her because of her asking for taxi money after we agreed on a shore and was trying to make up for it? Anyhow, all in all a fun night in the back alleys of Siem Reap.

My anti-game works too well here even when pitted against other foreigners - you'd think other white dicks would take the edge off a guy who doesn't try but usually doesn't appear to be the case.
I walk into this club last night and instantly spot this short hottie with actual ass and titties dancing and notice she sees me too. She looks like a Thai uni girl for some reason. Post up at the bar, ignoring her as usual. Playing my hard-to-get game. She's shaking her ass half the night - real bundle of energy - trying to get my attention and even waves once or twice - she wants me to come dance, obviously, but I just nod at her and look away. I'm not much of a dancer these days and I want to make her come to me anyways.
At this point, a few foreigners are swarming cutie and her friend. They're all quite a bit younger than me and some quite ripped. I get that reflexive tick that makes you want to go claim what you see as yours, you know what I mean? But I've already zeroed in on two other girls throwing me glances and tell myself nothing's lost. So I ignore it and instead I go play a few games of pool with a bunch of gay guys and ladyboys. Afterwards I return to the bar.
At this point they've been dancing with these guys for about an hour - maybe more. But I'm still convinced she's in the bag, even though I haven't talked with her yet, and I've decided to challenge myself to see if I can steal her from across the room. For a change I checked out Remedios Circle area in Malate a while ago. It has a few clubs and karaoke bars. I went to Insomnia which was a smaller equivalent to Cebu's JAve. No cover charge so it's a free for all for who's inside. A couple of 7's dancing on stage but they were pros. Nothing above that. Fair number of Koreans which you don't see out in Makati. There was a rules sign outside with "NO PROSTITUTION" as a rule. Right.

Just a couple recaps of last night. I'm writing this stuff down for a travel memoir now so trying to keep these posts short and sweet.
Starting to infiltrate the Cambodia beer garden scene. Very, very impressed. Very beautiful girls (I've realized that it's their lips is why so many are appealing - very full lips) and the food is far better than you could ever realize eating on the street. Unlike Thailand where street food is good - here it's shit and you have to get into the nice restaurants to taste the potential. This is why I always say a week in one city is nothing. Been here 10 days and only now starting to realize the potential of Cambodian nightlife. Not off the hinges by any means but I could see a low-key guy settling in for the long haul here and being very content to just go out and relax a few nights a week and soak up his white boy cred.
Anyhow, partied with the lead singer of the band after he got off work and this other guy who works at Siem Reap city hall. As is typical, the buearacrat was buying all the drinks. He was very stoked on my interest in Khmer culture and the fact that I was willing to wander into local random spots and post up like that - he even started ordering dishes off the menu just so I could taste them. I figured out they have about 10 different ways to say cheers here, depending on the ocaission. The people here are so fucking friendly to foreigners it's ridiculous. About how I've always imagined Phils to be (though I haven't been there yet so that's only speculation).
Afterwards, those guys went home and I ended up across town at a popular discoteque and was invited to drink with a group of Khmer guys almost immediately. I got a bit annoyed because they were drinking these beer towers and the guy who invited me just picked up my pitcher of beer and poured it into the tower, but I think it was just drunken sloppiness - he didn't realize I was only planning to drink one or two beers with them and go root out some sluts. So I shrugged it off after initial bitterness and a little while later he was passing out in his chair, which validated my theory it was nothing personal. Then somehow I ended up getting in an arm-wrestling contest with a couple bouncers. LOL First was just smashing them, even the biggest one who was obviously a lifter, but then he came back and beat me two in a row. Shit - need to start doing pushups again.
After that I go to invite one tuk tuk driver I recognized because he was friends with my tuk tuk crew to take me to the easy-shoring bar but he just wants me to join his table and drink. So I spend the next hour partying with him and this other tuk tuk driver that doesn't speak English and hollering at random hot Khmer girls drifting by, with no success beyond a few smiles. I wrote down my number on a piece of paper and was going to give it to this one hottie at a table with two guys because she kept giving me those glances, but tuk tuk guy says it's a bad idea. I took his word for it, but I think I need to start traveling with numbers in my pocket like Fisto and THC do.
The new tuk tuk driver with no English gives me a ride to easy-shoring bar for free. I even got to drive his tuk tuk for a few blocks! LOL This is the funny part. If you've been following my posts, you might remember I had a weird beef with a big stocky Englishman who has lived here for five years and was mad that I would "dare insinuate" knowing more about Cambodia than him. He was the guy who swore up and down that poor Cambodians were munching people out in the sticks and talked my drinking buddy out of a mission into the countryside.
Well, we're driving to the bar and there he is pissing on the side of the road and I told the tuk tuk driver to stop and pick him up - common courtesy in my eyes. Guy barely remembers me but you should have seen the look on his face when the tuk tuk driver refused to take any money from me when we got out. He was so fucking puzzled - I don't think he's ever seen a tuk tuk driver give someone a ride as a favor. 5 years indeed. Funny shit. All I can say is that if that guy is still trolling those kind of bars after five years in Cambodia I probably have learned more about this place than him in 10 days.
