RE: H. Casanova's 36 Hours in Mexico City Data Sheet
I haven't been to Monterrey (Mexico's second city) or Guadalajara but I hear those are nice cities. I might check out Guada sometime. Monterrey is said to be a little dangerous but I know a guy who goes there all the time and has no problems. Mty is similar to DF in that it's a business city. Most American corporations with a presence in Mexico have their main offices there. You would probably find a good number of English speakers.
For a short stay I would look into both. Personally I have an account with certain hotels so I usually go with that if possible but airbnb is also nice. Since DF is a business destination there are no problems bringing visitors to your hotel room. Just make sure with airbnb that the area is in or very close to Condesa, Polanco, or Chapultapec.
My spanish is cool. I can easily visit Spanish-speaking countries alone and do fine.

1) Do you think there is any other city in Mexico that is worth going to instead of MC that also has similar city amenities and venues?
2) For short stay do you recommend hotel or ABnB? I guess since this is not a sex destination, there is no stigma to hotels. But if you went for a week, would you stay in hotel or ABnB?
3) How is your Spanish?

Hard to say. It varies depending on where I go, when, and if I'm alone or with people. I make sure I have more than enough to cover what I need and I always do a cost-benefit analysis once on the ground when deciding where to go and what to do. I used to do longer trips but started doing shorter, extended weekend, trips about six months ago.

Pata Negra is a gamble. One night you could find 10 argentine models or a lebanese heiress, and the next could be a gaggle of fatties on a bachelorette party.
The reason its so popular is because its really easy to pick up there. Their door policy (everyone gets in) makes it popular within the 'PUA' community in Mexico City, but dont worry, they all use old-school canned routines and are stuck at the opener phase, so they dont represent any real danger. (The night I met you I had 4 guys coming up to me that recognized me from my blog)

She gets out of the backseat and enters the front passenger side and opens the glove compartment looking for a gun. She then starts crying and says how embarrassed she is and apologizes profusely. I thought she might be bipolar.
And that, kids, is why you should never buy drugs from a disreputable dealer.

It was too loud to really hear what he was saying but I knew he said he would keep an eye on me haha. I don't think he knew what happened with me and that girl because I didn't explain it well with all the music going on but I did catch him looking at me in the club haha. Cool guy though.
Black hair, 'fuck me' eyes? Oh, I saw her. She was hands down the sexiest woman there that night.

RE: H. Casanova's 36 Hours in Mexico City Data Sheet
I'm heading to Mexico City in 2 weeks and didn't really see a need to start a new thread thanks to the info here and on the other threads but I did have some things I wanted to run past you guys.
First off I'm pretty much going for the USA-Mexico World Cup Qualifier but staying in Condesa for 9 days and making a trip out of it. This will be my first trip solo and my first trip out of the country in 7 years(damn).
I'll hit up a bunch of touristy and cultural shit, restaraunts, bars, blah, blah... With that said if anyone has a recommendation that hasn't yet been mentioned I'm all for it.
1, I have a fairly flashy watch that was about $550 US but catches the eye and probably looks more expensive than it is, should I leave it home?
2, HC you mentioned feeling overdressed for Condesa. Are we talking suited down, slacks and dress shirt with nice shoes?
3, Since I'm going solo do you think I really have to worry about someone trying to snag my iPhone if I ask them to take a picture of me with it?
4, Will I be able to find Magnum condoms or should I bring enough from US?
5, Will the GNC in Condesa have ACV?
I know the watch & iPhone shit is mostly common sense but still looking for input. I'm pretty fucking excited for the whole trip and being I'm 5'11", fair-skinned with blue eyes I'm hoping to be a big hit with the chicanas.

Do you speak Spanish? Yeah for Condessa I was dressed up. It was overkill. For Polanco clubs, definitely dress up.
If you stay in Condessa and Polanco and other nice areas, you won't have to worry but I would recommend leaving anything too valuable to you at home. You can also just lose shit while traveling. It's not worth it and it's not important to your game. Just you being a foreigner in DF will be good enough. You obviously have money just by being there so no need to flaunt. That's more for the States not overseas.
Buy ACV tablets from the States and carry it when you travel. Bring your favorite condoms from the States. I bring my own when I travel.
In the nice areas of DF where you'll be everyone has iPhones.
