You don’t see Russians on this forum saying how exciting it is to experience American women. All they do here is tell us they came for a short period, found the women to be surprisingly unbearable, and ran home, followed by condolences to American guys.
Foreign countries offer better girls for less effort. That’s it.

I could go on. Unfortunately, it doesnt matter how good looking a woman is, as she will likely exhibit one or more of these behaviors if she's from North America.
+1 for clear diagnosis.
I've commented on this but not as well or in as detailed a way before.
There is a tragic combativeness in many girls with perfect skin, bone structure, and lovely coloring. They have a look on their faces like a young punk who's thinking "Who are YOU looking at?!" , a young guy who wants to FIGHT!! What a waste...
However, at least here in NorCal ( not SF) there is a resulting supply of women who feel ignored because guys are intimidated by the low-grade diffuse anger of a lot of girls.
They gently flirt, it's just a lot of the time I'm so put off by the bitchy ones I don't notice it...

My impression from being in a big American university for 2 years.
1. Girls are not happy when they meet a new guy. In Russia, if you have a class together and talk to a girl next to you, she is happy you made the effort to meet her, she will be friendly and show it. In the US, most of them are busy looking at their stupid Iphones in pink cases and they wanna go back to texting as soon as you two are done talking.
2. I might be wrong but the girls have the upper hand in interactions. or at least try to. They are more likely to cancel a meeting, be late, etc. This is just wrong and I felt bad. One time a girl cancelled the date 10 mins before the arranged time. I told her she doesn't have any manners and she should've let me know earlier. She deleted me from friends on FB and avoids me whenever possible. I don't care, but several of my Russian girl friends said they would apologize and make up for it when I told the whole story.
3. Girls in my university (around 25 000 students, public, South) are way below what you would see in the same size university in Russia. Not only sweatpants, no make up and bad clothing in general, but I think genetically Russian women are just beautiful. I only realized it after I moved abroad, it's not just a stereotype. Russian girls are beautiful. Sorry, everybody else, haha.
4. American girls are hard to talk to about anything meaningful. Whatever you talk about, there are very few subjects they are interested in. I recently went out with some Russian girls who live in New York. I was shocked at how interested they were and how easy it is to keep the conversation going. The same with Colombians, unless they have been here long enough to be brainwashed and become Americanized.
5. In American culture, especially college age people, there is constant competition. In poorer countries people boast with their money, jobs are cars. Honestly, in the US people are modest about their money but all the competition is about who has the coolest life. This is what Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and all this other crap is for. People have to tell everybody else about the slightest fun thing they do to increase their status.
I always felt like girls tried to estimate me - how many friends I have, what parties I go to, etc, etc. I was always thinking - "Who the hell are you to judge my life? It's probably way more fun than yours, and yet, you are trying to give me an estimate? Go to hell".
I can go forever. I am leaving this country, partly because I can't deal with American girls anymore. They are ugly, boring and superficial. Every slight interaction with Russian or Latino girls still shows me how bad it is in the US. I am going to Colombia in 10 days. The only place I love here in New York, because it has the most foreigners.
My condolences to all American guys.
Truth. Spot on observations, including the comment about NY. Occasionally I see an attractive feminine girl in the Bay area who smiles back when you look at her. Invariably they are Russian girls.

RE: Foreign Girls vs American Girls
A lot of good stuff in this thread, but I agree with Sargon of Arkaad that there's way too much generalization going on about "foreign girls." It's a big world out there, with lots of different cultures. For instance, women from most Asian countries are unlikely to, as Days of Broken Arrows put it, walk around a college dorm with their shirt off or debate with you and then have a drink like one of the guys. That sounds more like European women rather than foreign broads in general.
(06-05-2013 01:20 AM)Sargon of Akkad Wrote: This title of this whole thread sounds kind of America-centric, almost as though the diversity of the world's cultures/women could be divided into simply "American" and "non-American".
Two women from two different countries can differ at least as much from each other as they can from an American woman.
Come here to Japan, for example, and you as an American are just as foreign in the eyes of the local population as a Russian or a Pakistani.
Which foreign women are you talking about? Russian? Danish? Korean? British? Brazilian? German?

I'll never forget a female exchange student from Germany I knew in college, Sylvie, who would often hang in her dorm room topless. Until her uptight, feminist, lacrosse-playing roommate complained to the RA and Sylvie was forced to cover herself. I don't need to say anymore here -- let that serve as an allegory.
9. Foreign women don't act like everything is a battle. Foreign women will debate you, then have a drink with you -- just like guys will.

I've been in LA and it's certainly not a piece of cake (And over time, I see less and less hot women) but I haven't had any bad experience. How is it really? What are the expectations for a girl, especially after being in SE-Asia or Industrial Ukraine or Wallachian/Moldavian Romania?
Among the US upper classes, there are still a vast number of high-quality women.
As you travel down the socio-economic ladder, it's a sea of out of shape, iphone-clutching, inane, KFC consuming, Kardashian-worshipping girls who possess the egos of a 17th century princess.
The countries you mention have endured socialism/political turmoil/social upheaval in recent generations. A pleasant result of this is that high-quality women are not merely a preserve of those belonging to wealthy families.
To the Western love tourist, this means less work, less financial expenditure and less ego-induced stress than would be associated with an American girl.

RE: Foreign Girls vs American Girls
It depends where and of what descent in USA. In my opinion, 1st and 2nd generation Americans (meaning immigrants who have become naturalized, kids who were born abroad but now live in the US and have citizenship or those born here of immigrant parents) generally tend to be more down to Earth. Maybe it's because they or their families had to struggle a bit to get here. They also tend to have more traditional values. Communities I'm talking about are Latinos, Eastern Europeans (mainly Poles, Russians, Hungarians, Romanians) and some Southeast Asians. They are much easier to break into in smaller towns and/or cities. I've found that these same groups of people when they are in large cities, i.e. LA or NYC, tend to become very cliquish with their own group, which makes sense because they're more of them. Try getting with a Russian in NYC and you have to deal with her whole mafia-type network of friends. Try the same with one in Omaha, NE and you have a much better chance since there are relatively fewer of them and chances are she has a more diverse set of friends, making her more openminded.
