This is spot on. Some people just aren't cut out to be players. You can acquire certain attributes, increase your ability to get the lay, but at the end of the day, some attributes are simply intrinsic to who you are as a person…

I fit into the above category. I'll linger a relationship to my own detriment and look for any opportunity to soften the blow, even at my own expense. I think most men will learn fairly quickly where they stand and whether they are cut out for game...

If there are enough guys like me, it may be worth while to start up a thread on how to have a clean break-up with a girl because at the end of the day, despite knowing what's 'best', for some guys it just don't work that way.

I've used to have major problems with this before, but of late I've gotten a lot better. It's just a matter of getting enough experience to sufficiently deaden the beta tendencies.
