Indeed having a car could be a game changer. It actually helped me get laid in big cities where sometimes a girl from online would be very interested but lived very far. Sometimes renting a car let me go from zero bangs a day to two bangs a day, so I never undersimate it’s power. But as you said, doing out of town and beach trips is even more powerful.

I checked Reina Roja hotel and it is selling for 50 US per night this week on my favourite app. I wanted to stay to check it out and to actually save money thanks to such a great sale, but it has a few reviews saying the rooms are sort of trashy so I passed.

Back to the driving - so driving a motorbike after a few drinks will also be a problem? I’ve done this on Asian party islands in Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam and it was always cool although I didn’t have a specific license back then. Now I finally have a license saying that I’m allowed to drive motorbike so I thought I could do it even more freely.

And if you are driving a car and were drinking last night or partying heavily a couple of days ago can they take you to pee tests? I know places where cops screw a lot of people even if they took something or smoked two weeks ago.

Anyone familiar with The Mayan Palace Riviera Maya in Playa Del Carmen? I have heard Vidanta is known for hidden resort fees once you get down there. Also concerned about safety en route between PDC-Cancun and PDC-Chicken Itza.

Liking the thread some useful info guys.

Heading to Cancun on the 1st March for a few days will I be there for Spring break or is this too early? Worth getting a room in the oasis? hostel? hotel/air bnb?
