What about the feeling of missing out on family or something like that?
I am really trying to figure out what I want to do..
Sure get married but remember, if it goes wrong and chances are it will, you’ll get royally screwed from all sides. In my opinion only a fool would enter into any agreement as one sided as the modern marriage contract.
The feminisation of Family Law priced intelligent Men out of the marriage market long ago. The first nail in the marriage coffin was when the “I promise to obey” line was taken out of the vows. And sure kids are ok but chances are, you would only get to see them every other weekend anyway.
The over-riding reason our grandfathers had to get married was because it was the only way back then, that they could be guaranteed regular sex. But now that feminism has liberated women sexually any Man that keeps himself in shape, has almost unlimited access to casual sex.
I maintain that in many ways, this is a great time to be a single Man whatever your age. Therefore my advice to any 25 year old guy today, is to avoid the marriage trap at all cost and concentrate on making money and travelling instead.
There’s a big beautiful exciting world out there full of all kinds of different women. Go check it out.

RE: guys 35-40+?
What I see happening is that the girls are getting stronger and the guys weaker. I look at the interaction between young girls and guys and the girls, more often than not, always seem to be the leader/alpha. Now, we all know that a girl wants to be dominated, so for a younger girl to find some guy around her age to do that is getting more and more difficult. Add to the fact that a lot of younger guys are just not in shape and I don't blame younger girls for going after older guys.
As an older guy in US, with years of social conditioning that's it's taboo to go after young girls, the FIRST thing you have to do is break that conditioning. Hell, it took me years, just to become comfortable talking to a younger girl (18 - 22) in public.

It is a process brother. Don't feel bad.
I am glad I found this place, otherwise I'd be on the way to being a married submissive husband with a wife that cheats on me.
Divine intervention.

Yeah. That is the way it is for me to. I'm 48. The occasional times a woman smiles at me and makes eye contact in the States, it is invariably a European woman, usually Russian, anywhere between 25 and my age.
On the surface, the society is agist as well as misandrist. As a 40 something guy - even if you are successful - you need nearly perfect game in the US. Women around your age think they deserve someone a good 10 years younger. Look at the profiles on dating sites and invariably it is the women who look for mates 10-5 years younger than them. It is an inverted world.
All things said, my friends and I are in agreement. 25 is a perfect age for women. If they reach 30 without children they are forever damaged. If you need to date over 25-30, finding someone who has already had kids, you will find a much more balanced person.
Also, there is an American millennial problem. The US women of this generation have had the most privileged upbringing of any population of women (and likely any men) ever. Combined with an overwhelming sense of entitlement and bizarre sense of being wronged. From a physical point of view they are hideous. I live near a university and it is rare to see a female who is not on the path to obesity. Gen-X have actually aged better and have less of this attitude problem. My s.o. is in her mid twenties from Eastern Europe, but she shares none of the cultural baggage of millennial women in the US. She thinks they are atrocious and mocks them, observing things worse than any of the things you hear on this site.

Thats exactly what I did, id say most of the guys here this age have done the same. An older section would be good, as we have already been there done that, for many things. Im a few years of 40 myself and don't think of myself as old, when i see guys I went to school with on facebook I do; many are fat, bald, ugly and married. At work I have girls 18 and up chasing, recently a 20 year old guy told the girl like "you know this guy is nearly 40 !!", trying to cockblock.

Yes. Cockblocking older guys is especially intense now. It is the biggest problem I have in American clubs. And I really do not know how to deal with it as it is a fairly new phenomenon and I have only been single a few years, ost of that time spent abroad.
Look at George Clooney over the past 10 years. Not many women would turn him down. Daniel Craig. Sean Connery. Be a real man - be your own man - like these guys and you will never be too old for anyone, ever. Stay fit. Keep your testosterone up by eating right and working out. Fuck a lot. Women love men who are getting some.
Oh. And girls were very easy 30 years ago. Easier than now. And more susceptible to game. I see my younger friends work and work and work at it. It was never so hard for me and I was just a fairly normal guy, a little dark and mysterious and aloof. But I never had to try.
Now everything (dating, hooking up) is as pleasant as (and not unlike) a job interview. First time I encountered that bullshit was around '95.
