Speaking from the guy roommates perspective I don't think you need to worry. In the last 7 years i've gone to 3 universities and lived in 10+ different houses and different roommate scenarios. I've gone into houses being the only guy and it's worked out a couple different ways. Most recently the two girls in the house both had bfs. One guy was all around a cool guy and we actually became really good friends. He was kind of reserved at first but I respected that he didn't let any insecurities get the better of him. The other roommates bf was an insecure little bitch. He once flipped out on his girl because she left for work early one morning and he thought she was going to meet up with me because I left early for work every morning. I actually laughed in his face later that day and told him if I was gonna fuck his girl I would just walk the 5ft from my bedroom to hers. I actively talked shit right to this guys face the rest if the time I lived there. I never went into a situation like that trying to get with any of the girls despite being super tight with almost all of them. A lot of the time it actually developes into a brother sister like role where we would always be looking out for one another. Seeing someone every day kills any sexual vibe. The only roommate I ever hooked up with happened after we no longer lived together. No guy wants to shit where he eats either. Your buddy needs to accept that yes they are probably gonna be close, so he can go about it two different ways; either he's a cool guy and the other roommate will accept that or he's an insecure bitch and the guy is gonna make it awkward or fuck you over.

I'm surprised by all the guys saying to drop the chick. This isn't MTV Real World or big brother.

Speaking from another male roommate's perspective, I smashed a female roommate the first weekend she moved in.

However, the aftermath was not enjoyable and I learned my lesson and will never live with a girl again.

Are guys really that bothered by a girl living with a male roommate? The way I see it, either she does the right thing and it's fine or she doesn't and you peace her out. Trying to explicitly control a woman's behavior is pointless.

Mr. Construction Worker is in a nearly all male-dominated workforce, and he has male friends. He could live with any one of his friends or rent a couch/room from a co-worker who just needs the cash.

Does anyone here truly believe that he just happened to settle on moving into a house with three young women as his roommates? He’s doing exactly what any of us would do if we had to find roommates, do our best to get the most comfortable place with the best access to women.

For all we know, he runs the same hustle every 3-6 months when he’s done with the girls and his rep catches up with him, or their boyfriends do.

We aren’t the only men who know how to give a stellar first impression to women, he knows how to give a great interview to get in the door. For all we know, Mr. Construction Worker is active on these this forum and has developed his own hustle based on what we taught him.
