Six Months Of No Approaching
Oil Rig Life

Not a single approach. Not one. Only contact you can have other than co-workers is via internet. You’re not getting laid for 6 months, accept it.

Your work schedule is pretty busy, but you still have a few hours of free time most days.

You’re in the middle of nowhere, only access to any form of shopping is online. Internet is available but is unreliable and slow.

You’re getting paid a decent salary, and your job covers all room and board.

Gym is on site. You have a non-physical job on the rig, so your only form of exercise comes from the gym.

What would you work on to improve your game/yourself?
What would you do when you got back?

Heres my plan:

Money:
a 30/30/40 plan. 40% going to investments. 30% going to debt. 30% going to building a decent wad of cash for a new truck and a month or two of travel when I get back.

Fitness:
Hit the gym once a day if possible. Develop a 5-day workout plan and adhere to it, days not able to go to the gym don't count. Example: Start Monday as day 1 workout. Tuesday is day 2 workout. Can’t do the gym on Wednesday, Thursday is day 3 workout.

Supplements ordered online. Nothing fancy just basic protein.
Nutrition is taken what I can get, food availability is based on what I am served that day. Multivitamins/ACV also ordered.

Skills:
Learn Spanish (my first foreign language besides a little French) via Rosetta stone. Spanish speakers are on the rig so I will be able to practice conversational Spanish and build upon the basic foundation Rosetta stone provides.

Guitar. Actually sit down and learn some music theory for a change. Average an hour of day of playing time. My playing ability should dramatically improve.

Read an hour a night. Between guitar/Spanish/gym, my limited free time is really disappearing. I normally read a book as I lie in bed until I get tired, I’ll continue this.

Plan when I get back:
Buy a new Truck, I’m fond of Tundra's. Get a few new tailored suits and hit the ground running, sand that rust off as quickly as possible.

Obtain civilian private pilots license

And a two month vacation to Europe/SEA

Language learning is definitely a good call. You could also use this as a time to pipeline girls via internet for your eventual travels!

You are not approaching because you dont want to.

You can go to the camp clinic and start flirting with one of the nurses, indirectly flirting. You go there and pretend you have headache and then you start chatting them up (dont be too direct, otherwise you may get in trouble).

I am sure there are offices in the camp where you will see few women working. Go there and ask them work related questions and take it from there.

When i was working in the oil field, i used to do this in order to maintain the ability to talk to women. I almost fucked one girl in the oil field (she actually approached me, we just kissed) but i didnt fuck her because my contract was done and i had to leave.

Gym and language are good ones. If you're going with Rosetta Stone, I highly recommend something to complement it. Useful for vocab, but not the greatest for actual language usage. Try Michel Thomas, IIRC, the spanish course is meant to be excellent. If not, Pimsleur or Assimil is always a good bet.

Basically, I'd read as many books as possible, especially on topics related to game. Learning a new language is good, especially if you want to travel, I've never tried Roseta Stone, but I highly recommend Pimsleur's audio CD's, the basic entry level discs are really cheap too. If your internet ever improves I'd watch vids online, lot's of good free vids from RSD (despite the hate you hear on RVF), also mensroom.tv is a great resource as well. Pitt has good advice, but it sounds like there really are no prospects there, so I'd focus on gym, reading, and learning a new language.
