Which online broker do you recommend for people that are non-Us residents?
My idea is to execute not too frequent trades(only stocks in NYSE), and im looking for an online broker that doesnt charge fees for minimum balances, minimum trades per month or data fees..
i found td-ameritrade, but i have read some horror stories using their system...
Any advice is welcome..

If you have a margin account you have to have 2000 bucks in it. But their fees are pretty much the cheapest around.

hmm, it requires 10000 minimum balance, plus its better towards frequent traders....
if you dont trade often you pay a fee...
