LNGIT (let's not get it twisted) in no WAY am I CONCERNING myself with them. Only reason I put that post up was to warn brothers that anyone telling black men not to go to EE should be considered suspect, because they likely are a part of that mindset. But I might be preaching to the choir or just trying to elevate my own mindstate to eliminate my own fears. Probably the latter.
Don't make fun of me. I've been by myself alone in this shit town for a long time and I finally made the decision to get out and live. I need BROTHERHOOD!

Do the regions matter? Sounds like Milan and the north would be more hostile versus Rome or more southern parts.
My good friend is black and grew up in Italy and stimm has family there. He speaks the language and everything SK he goes back quite often. He says he just tells peopem he is American and studied Italian if they give him a hard time. He never spoke of any rough experices aside from being at the soccer matches.
Italy interests me as I have a thing for the Italian girls over here. I am not sure ehst regions most Canadian ones come from because the Italians I always met in the hostels where hit or miss with attitudes. I found the girls crazy and entitled. The dudes were cool, but too cool, they would cock block often after trying to be your friend.
I left Catania not too recently (fourth time there since 2014) so I have a bias towards the south and Sicily to be exact.
I would try the south but I would prolly stick away from the areas where the military bases are at (ie. Catania, Naples)
you could always fly into the north (Milan, Rome) and take the quick 30 mins-1 hour flight down to Sicily and check it out for yourself

RE: Best Cities/Countries for Black American Guys???
Game question, slightly off topic, but not really. Just pretend this was in Milan and not in the US.
Been chatting up this cashier for a few days, she seemed receptive, smiling, bantering back and forth. Yes, I know it's their job to do this, which is why I'm asking.
Today, she let me have my $3 drink for free. She was just like, "Do you want me to ring that up?" and I said, "No." and rolled my eyes. She smiled and let it slide. We talked back and forth for a while and for the first time she asked my name, just out of the blue. I told her, asked for hers, a little more banter.
Found out she doesn't do much outside of working her job, at least that's what she said. So I said, "You should come out with me sometime. Do you have an Instagram or something?" She said, "Thank you but no thank you." Seemed a big pivot. Thought I had it. Wondering WTF. Any insights would be divine.

She was younger, like 22-24. Thought that was how the kids hooked up these days.
I was reading up on game for Zagreb for when I go in September. I remember reading that trading Instagrams was actually better that trying to get phone numbers. I actually made an Instagram specifically for that purpose. So I tried it here with the cashier.

As a matter of principle I avoid hitting on bartenders/waitresses/cashiers because it's very easy to mistake politeness and friendly banter with actual interest.
I would have to have irrefutable evidence of interest, such as her slipping me her number somehow etc. to proceed.
The other thing is, there are cafes where I go to study/read on the weekends, and I would hate for my interaction with the staff there to be awkward because I was shot down or too eager with a girl there, lol.
If you live in a city, there should be plenty of women to game anyway...

IMO It wasn't anything you said. Because if she was really was into you not having Instagram wouldn't be a problem. More like you forced her hand. Sounds like she wanted your attention but didn't want YOU. It happens a lot because women love attention. You did yourself favor by not beating around the bush and wasting your time.

My city sucks, which is why I'm getting a one way ticket to Zagreb for September, and I might just stay on the other side of the world for the rest of my life cuz #AmericaPartyOver. All these chicks up until then is practice, so I'm not worrying about their occupation. She was cute with pink hair, big ol rabbit teeth just like I like em and a nice butt.
I appreciate you taking the time to respond along with Rudebwoy and rhodey.
