Will any of this (riots, Golden Dawn, crime, racism etc) affect the Greek islands during tourism season or is it mostly a problem in the mainland?

Golden Dawn has actively appeared on the islands but not against tourists mostly against illegal immigrants.
The polls give them about 15% of voters in whole Greece.

I'm sorry but THERE IS NO EXCUSE for this! It's 2013 for crying out loud, in a EUROPEAN country! Yeah I know Greece is going through hard times, but wouldn't be a good idea to welcome tourists (and their money)instead of. . .beat them? This is too easy said man.
Actually the greek politics and the illegal immigrants don't have really much in common. Those people would've fled their country and enter greece, even more so if the greek Situation would be better.
They fled because of their own circumstances in their own countries, like Afghanistan ( US Invasion, how ironical), Iraq (oh again) and numerous other countries that are being economically and politcally invaded/surpressed by western nations, like France or Britain. A little country like Greece couldn't have less influence on those things, they're just trying to defend themselves and discourage more immigrants coming to Greece.

The soil you wrote this post from (US), was not too long ago inhabitated by other people and another culture that was indigenous to this piece of land.
This culture and the people were at the beginning slowly invaded and with the time practially removed from the surface of this planet, by the stronger , in some views , more primitive/barbaristic culture.

The greek people are kinda at the same spot, fighting for their own existance and are on the verge of being overrun by cultures and people, who are incompetible to their own, unskilled and have no other choice but to get into criminal activity in order to survive.
It's a question about if a whole thousands of years old culture and nation can hold against the massive, also agressive, immigration and survive, which if not will collapse, in worst case vanish.
Those immigrants sure aren't pussified westerners, and it's naive to believe they all of humble nature.

Easy to say that from the other side of the pond when you don't have to deal with all those refugees.
But most importantly is why those so desperatly people left their home.
Americans start wars in the middle east and and don't have to deal the with huge flood of people fleeing war zones and defasted economies.
Guess where they all end up, like those 3 afghans kamaki posted about?
Yup, they're all running towards Europe, Sweden (very big problem already),Germany, Italy, Greece, Spain, France ... of course there is and will be friction.Inevitably.

Immigration problem is huge.EU countries have turned Greece into an EU toilet by sending all illegal immigrants who come to them after entering Greece back to Greece.Actually most of them do not want to live in Greece but in more prosperous countries like Germany,UK.That is why EU pays 1000 euro for every illegal immigrant who stays in Greece.It is another problem what our corrupted politicians do with it.
Actually if Golden Dawn takes charge they will expel all illegal immigrants and guess where they are going to head?This is one of the reasons strong EU states fight against the Golden Dawn.
