Tonality and how long into the interaction it is determines the nature of the question.

At the club if I were to get that within first 5 mins or so I'd reply with some type of bullshit such as "saw a resemblance to my mom, had to make sure." More important than the content of your witty bullshit reply is that you don't cling onto it or her reaction.

In the context of "comfort phase," where she already likes you, it's probably better to give her a qualifying answer.

In the beginning I think it's better to play it off with a funny comeback.

In Germany/Poland I have often been direct: Because you're hot and I want to fuck you. (Silence, hold her gaze.)

Before answering any question from a chick, I first try to understand the reason she’s asking it.

Chicks that ask this particular question are usually just fishing for a compliment.

I would almost always use it as an opportunity to tease her.
