Hello,
I recently had my surgery and now have an ileostomy (see wiki), basically 2cm of small intestine protrude from my belly and I put a bag over it to hide it and contain wastewater.

I am feeling much healthier after surgery and my Dr says "good progress". BUT, how do I game after this? Maybe there are some ways to explain to women that it was done for my health??? The nurses here are cute and nice, so I know I still got the magic!

Feel for you mate. Might be hard to see how you can reconcile that with gaming chix.

That said, even though for some girls it might be a dealbreaker, there are girls who will be able to accept it. So it's really just business as usual - keep gaming. Girls have more ridiculous things that are dealbreakers for them, after all.

I do know that how you frame it is going to be a factor... being apologetic and going into the medical details is probably not optimal.

OTOH if you were unapologetic about it and could stand behind it - you know you did it for your health, you know it took courage and strength to go through - then that can come over. That's the sort of personality trait that girls value.

I'm not saying it's going to be an asset - just that you gotta play the cards you've been dealt. There's a way to creatively work around it, and you'll find it if you can keep approaching and playing around with different frames.
