I think its a little self aggrandizing to think RVF or any other group of folks are destroying any of these "paradises," not getting at the bigger issue here. Its the broader issues of globalization and the internet that are doing this. This effect is unprecedented in human history. To some extent, the mystery about me is gone to other people in different parts of the world because 1) alot of other people like me have went there (immigration/international airfare effect), 2) all information is global, and 3) other countries are getting wealthier.

Before globalization got hardcore, I was way more unique. Everyone gave me time to prove my worth. Chicks and curious kids have taken pictures of me with them on 3 different continents to prove they hung out with a "cool" black guy. I was once mobbed by a bus. Couldn't have been easier. Those days are over. Now I think the challenge is to recognize how the game has changed and adjust accordingly. Your look and nationality are becoming less and less interesting (in itself) every year. People are starting to look the same (ooh another Prada glasses guy!). Now what?? What are the new differentiators? That's what is interesting to me.

I visited Albania for a couple of days a couple of years ago. Enough to know, the girls there are hot, and surprisingly very well dressed! In fact, as it is so often the case, these places with fucked up reputations often put a lot of effort into not being like their reputation.

I liked it. I would go back. It is cheap, the food is good, it isn't crowded like Croatia but just as beautiful and the people are very friendly. The nightlife in Tirana is based around one block and I thought wasn't anything too special.

Exactly. I think this site is great to give people a general starting out point. Some cities and some hotspots. But let some of the best places remain something that takes a little elbow grease to find. And what ever happened to adventure and discovery?

Besides, I think the work of fully exploring a new place will give one the character and skillset to actually get somewhere with the women, as well.

For example, if someone posts about some great little hidden bar full of gorgeous women that took weeks to find. What might happen eventually? The hordes show up, and the women go running screaming from bad game.

Whether we post those secrets or not, the hordes are unlikely to make good use of the info.

I've been thinking about this a lot lately too.

RVF is one of the only forums, if not the only forum in existence, which contains first-hand information about cities/countries specifically in terms of gaming women.

The problem is mainly due to the fact that there for every regular poster on RVF, there's hundreds of lurkers.

These lurkers are able to obtain the exact information that the members do, without giving anything back to the pool of knowledge at all.

Whilst RVF is still fairly underground, and probably 95% of the lurkers will not actually follow up on what they read here about a city (e.g. book a trip to a destination purely on what they have read on RVF), I believe that in the future we will start seeing an effect.

Of course every thing we say on here has an effect. Everything i write, I assume that every man in the world will instantly know about it. Though, of course, that's not true. But certainly every man in the world that is actively searching for this type of information will know about it.

Well, there are plenty of other sites about which countries have the best women and how to have sex with them. (often involving money).

1) It shows that the person asking it is genuinely interested in knowing more about the place and is willing to go and look for the information.
