Improving facial looks
What are the best ways to improve facial looks? Is there anything else apart from these that one can do:
  • Tanning
  • Taking care of skin
  • Stylish haircut
  • Getting lower body fat
  • Shaping eyebrows

depends on the face.

Beyond All Seas

"The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe.
To be your own man is a hard business. If you try it, you'll be lonely often, and sometimes
frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself." - Kipling

get a distinctive scar, or an eye patch. It's not pretty but it can be a versatile talking point (ie lost my eye wrestling a lion in the serengeti. Nobody said is has to be true or believable, but it gets you noticed and comes with bad boy cred.

Only ones out of those I actually do is Haircut and lower body fat.

You could get a transplant like Face Off, if it's that bad.

Vitamin C supplements have boosted the glow of my face and hair. I usually take 3,000 mg a day.

RE: Improving facial looks
Bloke at work has a fat chubby face, he used to have a longish mop style hair cut and a clean shaven face. He's recently got his hair cut short in a sort of spikey sharp style and has grown sharp sideburns down to a little goatee type thing. It has had an amazing effect on slimming his face, he looks like a different person almost.

RE: Improving facial looks
Most people already touched on the big stuff, but I will just recap the most important points.

Take care of your skin (this includes, washing your face with the proper soaps regularly, eating a healthy diet, drinking enough water, sleeping well, and using moisturizers, etc.)

Get your facial hair (or lack there of) right. I look best with a well trimmed, manicured, and shaped up beard or a little stubble. My facial hair grows in quick, esp my neck hair, if I get lazy (which i usually do) I get the unkempt, scruffy look, which is not good, (*but I always make sure to get my facial hair right before I go out to spit game*). Some guys look better without facial hair, so if that's you, I recommend you are diligent about shaving, and if using a straight razor, change the blade frequently.

LOWER BODY FAT PERCENTAGE, I put it in capitals so you get the point. Body fat percentage is crucial, I know the difference in how my face looks between when I was a pudgy out of shape 190 lbs vs. how I look now at a leaner muscular 190 bls. The chubby face look that most people get when they have a higher body fat percentage is not a good look, I can think of many times when I've seen a girl with a pretty face who is chubby and thought not only would her body be way better, but her face would be too. The same principal applies to men as well, women like a man with a "chiseled jaw", not every man can be blessed to look like Brad Pitt, but you can do yourself a major service by keeping your body fat % low, so you are at your peak. Also, if you are really chubby and have a double chin and turkey neck, then you need to get your ass into the gym ASAP.

One top of all that, the next obvious thing is your hair cut and hairstyle, you got to find a style that works best for you. Personally I've never been good at getting my hair right, so I've always had one of two haircuts, either long hair, or a buzzed head. I think I look okay either way, but it would be a good idea for every guy to experiment with their looks to get their hair style right. If anything just make sure you don't look sloppy, comb, brush your hair, use gel or whatever if it fits your style. Make sure you go to a good barber or salon and get a good haircut, even if that means you spend $40 instead of the $20 it would costs at Super Cuts or wherever. Get a regular hair cut every 4 weeks or whenever you need it, find a barber that you like, and go to them every time so they know what you like and how to cut your hair.

Finally get your teeth and grooming in check. Make sure you brush, floss, use mouth wash on the reg, use whitening toothpaste or mouth wash, cut back on soda, coffee, and cigs. If you need to go to get a whitening service from a dentist (my teeth are pretty white, but i drink coffee and smoke weed, need to look into teeth whitening, may make a thread for its soon).

With your grooming, I am referring to stuff like plucking your unibrow, trimming your nose hair, plucking ear hairs, keeping the back of your neck shaved, etc. Unibrow look is not really good on anyone, no chick wants to fuck Burt from Sesame Street. A lot of guys do to their genetics or youth don't really need to worry about nose or ear hairs, or even hairs growing on your upper cheeks, but guys with hairy genetics need to keep this stuff in check. For years I was sloppy and didn't think twice about stuff like that, I'm sure I had some gnarly long nose hairs that were turning women off and I had no idea. Now I trim my nose hair every couple weeks and will even pluck them sometimes, although it stings like a motherfucker and I wouldn't recommend it.

Studies have shown about the only thing women care about face-wise is whether you have a square jaw or not.

Grooming is another issue, but don't worry so much about your face unless you are grotesquely ugly. In that case you might invest in plastic surgery.

When I get my haircut my stylist also trims my eyebrows carefully. She does a good job and doesn't fuck them up or make them look feminine, just keeps them in check - mine get pretty burly otherwise.

Don't be shy to ask - you groom the rest of your hair on your head, why not your eyebrows too?

That might be the central feature but you can't tell me they don't care about a unibrow or if your skin looks like it's falling apart.
