I believe these attributes of class and money are more associated with my long term plan, but are must have's. Either she has her own money or has the right mindset to acquire some as to not be dependent on someone else. I'd want her to hold her own in various situations like I would: with family, with friends, business associates, and clientele. Most importantly, having the "know-how" that derives from life experiences to carry her well into various social strata whether it be upper, lower, or anything in between. It's very important to me where a woman is currently at and where she is going to me rather than, where she comes from. Lots of people have humble beginnings and it's only the present and future I'm concerned with.

That makes a lot of sense. Can you flesh it out more about what social events and situations the girl might be involved in?

My father and his wife are very social - quite remarkably so - and they travel a lot and meet new people regularly, and build up strong networks of relations. I'd agree that for a lifestyle like that class will be a real asset.

I've never been able to replicate such a highly social lifestyle, and instead tend to live in a more insular way. I'm not sure if that's just me, or if that's the common modern experience - of social ties being downplayed and people living a more atomistic lifestyle.

No one in any of my social circles would ever make such a comment, at any age. If they did they would be instantly excluded from the social circle. People in my class were raised to respect civility and community.

We didn't glorify sociopathy, and any anti-socials who strayed into our community were initially befriended, and then shunned, to let them wallow in their own degradation alone. We had simple, basic standards of human decency, in other words.

Versatility is an important attribute. Ability to adapt to different situations.

A girl who can appreciate a simple cooked meal and also have the ability to socialize and appreciate michelin-rated food.

A girl who will adventure and try new things, and break out of her comfort zone once in a while.

Maintenance w/uber-wealthy girl can be soul-crushing. Expensive tastes and over-entitled women = over-extended budget and hello corporate rat-races and running on the debt-treadmill

Some of you are talking about upper girls being high maintenance or narrow-minded. This happens with upper middle class girls who feel they have something to prove. Most Ivy girls you meet are in this category. Or even from well-off middle class backgrounds (eg. dad's a dentist - plenty of money but little class or culture) and trying to fit in with the upper-middle crowd.

You won't find much of this narrow minded insecurity in bona fide upper-class girls. They don't have anything to prove. Many of them drop out of college. Others go to less academic schools. Top schools are for strivers with something to prove. Some of the wildest and most uncomplicated party girls I've met are unpretentious upper class girls, some of whom never went to college. You'll never meet an upper class, hard-charging careerist cunt. They're always upper-middle or lower.

One thing you won't find much of in upper class girls is traditional family values. Those are for the lower, middle and upper-middle classes.

It's not about money. I've known girls whose families own castles in Europe but are broke. It's about culture and values.

For an LTR a minimum of class is important. I'd like a girl to be able to handle herself in any context. She needs to know which forks to use and not be intimidated by anyone she meets. Social insecurity is an exhausting handicap to have to deal with.

I've met plenty of highly educated girls with zero interest in the arts, etc. Mutual interests are more important than credentials. And being secure enough not to worry about outward appearance or the judgement of your peers. That's for the middle class to worry about.

The only kind of girl I'm allergic to is a grasping materialist bitch who tries hard to be sophisticated but has no taste. Ditto with snobby or overly judgemental girls, the kind who is rude to staff because she's just getting used to eating out. It just shows insecurity. I'll take an unpretentious girl who grew up in a trailer park over that kind of girl any day.

As for money, as long as I don't have to support her or worry about her being broke I don't really care.

If we are really going to go all the way up the wealth pool. The ones born into real wealth tend to be more evangelical. This isn't as bad, however, it becomes tough to justify their life. It's annoying, the girl thinks things just "are" and while they are cool to be around there is a looming understanding that she doesn't know anything about the world at all beyond the surface. Again, reiterate the "I have xyz beliefs because this is all I know". That is the best way to describe it. I can go into more detail but the amount of girls people here will even meet in this category is so small it becomes a useless distinction.

Uber-wealthy is 20+ million family money. There are still uber-wealthy girls w/traditional values floating around. Usually 2nd generation girls or 1st generation girls who came from natural resource-rich countries (Russia springs to mind).

Meet a few young adults like this. Money was sincerely no object to them. Flying to Paris for dinner. Rolls-Royces.

Other supremely wealthy kids would have zero money. These girls were the ones that had credit-cards but strict supervision under parents. They were like puppets danging on family strings. These girls never paid for shit in their life, and would still ask for dinners/drinks/cars/rides and show no gratitude.

I knew 1 girl like this (who I would smoke Blunts with) , always mooching for dinners from dudes. She rolls up to my LA pad in an SLR.

Really depends for what. If I'm just banging the girl, I don't care at all. That she'd think that it's weird how common me and her dad are but that for some weird reason she's madly attracted to me because of that.

Also, introed to a couple family members and yes, you can see right away when someone is raised the way they're supposed to.

I wouldn't say that all men will be more attracted to women coming out of a wealthy family or women doing exceptionally well for themselves. I'd rather say that most wealthy and ambitious men appreciate these qualities more and are naturally more attracted to them. Oh, and obviously it makes raw busting inside of them a lot more viable and less risky for her to keep it.

These days I only date girls who meet my 3 minimum criteria; 1. They have a tertiary education (university) 2. They try to keep fit 3. They don't have a heap of tattoo's.

Social Class and Money definitely have a good amount to do with it...but at the end of the day it all depends on if the girl's vibe and lifestyle fit with yours.

Here in Houston I've met a good amount of "upper middle" class girls who come from decent money, but still waste their time away at dive bars where they can drink for cheap and feel like they own the place. This is just an extension of the "college" lifestyle that they had and wish to continue.

Think about it...after graduation, girls from SEC schools throw their entire Saturday down the drain to watch a game at 2 PM and get hammered with their alumni friends. They'll still celebrate "holidays" at shitty bars and play beer pong whenever possible.

Upper class girls who had a different college experience will most likely wish to continue the lifestyle that their parents put them through. These are your Hampton girls who never rode the Jitney, went to a small private school, and always lived a life of class. These are the girls that are "into horses and yachts," who were never into football, and ALWAYS appreciate a good international cuisine over drinking beer with their friends.

I think many people are mistaking upper middle vs. upper class.

i've dated both above and below my status in serious relationships. the one with more family wealth always had daddy to fall back on for anything and knows that no matter how bad she fucks up, she'll have daddy and the money to support her.

the ones from below my status are usually grateful for any benefit that falls to them just be being incorporated into my lifestyle. and the power dynamic is better of course.

the wealthy family connections could have been useful career wise eventually as well, and knowing that our kid was always going to be taken care of no matter what is a major benefit.

For dating - or spending any remotely significant amount of time with beyond sex - I want a woman who's intelligent and funny enough for engaging, if not necessarily deeply intellectual conversation. Not really qualities that are strongly tied to class (except above the very lowest social classes perhaps, which would be gypsies where I currently live, and I would be very hesitant to even fuck one of them for entirely different reasons).

Also social class isn't really something that's very relevant in my native Denmark where the vast majority of the population is just broadly "middle class", nor here in Bulgaria where the majority is varying degrees of financially "challenged" (although with a notable, rich upper class in Sofia that I haven't had anything to do with yet).

Social class is more than just income or family wealth.

Those Duck Dynasty guys are in the 1% but they aren't in a higher social class despite being in a higher tax bracket.

It's what your family did, and their family. There is a connection to political participation, involvement with religion.

It's also education, but it's the desire to get educated, it's the type of education.

Class is the aspirations, the profession, the adherence to certain social norms and mores.

Class isn't just knowing etiquette, or being in the social register

I helped a buddy drive limo one weekend, the customers were a group of very affluent people. Let's say they would have been part of the 1%.
They laughed about never having taken public transit ever, not even as a kid.
They were entitled and talked endlessly about their materialistic lifestyle non-stop. I was glad when the night was over.
