Being a picky eater...
I'm really not, but often considered it. A woman can be picky, and it's ok, might even be seen as healthy. A man, it's just seen as queer. Very important to be aware of this if you are picky.

There's 3 foods I don't like.

Garlic, overused in absolutely everything, and too much is always used. There's this idea that more garlic = better. Real creative, everything now has the same disgusting baseline flavor. Every damn thing now has "garlic" in the ingredients...even frozen hashbrowns. Any fancy restaurant, I just look for whatever doesn't have "lemon-infused garlic butter", which usually cancels out 25% of the menu. Sinatra hated garlic too.

Mayonnaise, never have liked it. Nothing but calories as well - especially if it's standard on a sandwich/burger. It almost always is. If you want to start getting free burgers, just order no mayonnaise, they only get it right half the time, my buddies in college absolutely made use of that when we'd stop at McDonalds after the bars. Give that burger away.

Chicken, unless it's orange chicken from Panda Express. Cancels out 70% of the menu almost anywhere.

Then there are crap vegetables like asparagus or eggplant which I just won't get near, but they aren't hard to avoid.

Anyone else have any strong food dislikes?

Never ate an egg in my life, don't like mushrooms and not a big fan of spicy food. Being a picky eater isn't easy, especially when travelling.

God damned them all, I was told we'd cruise the seas for American gold, we'd fire no guns-shed no tears, now I'm a broken man on a Halifax pier, the last of Barrett's privateers!
