My friend who lives in the baltics regularly throws small film festivals (its his industry) and advertises them at local schools and other public areas. He generally has a good and consistent showup of people and he gets their email information. Then he just emails all the girls who wrote their names on these lists to private screenings of his.

Despite only inviting girls, a bunch of dudes generally end up coming anyway, because the girls invite them. Regardless, the ratio generally tends to hover around 3:1 Girl:Guy which is great if you are throwing the party. Then, at the private screening of the film he will find the hottest 20 chicks and invite them to his place for the afterparty and, of course, always ends up banging.

He says that he also always invites one or two gay dudes, because hot girls love gay dudes and it makes them feel more comfortable coming to the party.

I'm not really much into pickup stuff (although I don't hate on it) but one thing I know is that a person's lifestyle is what makes them attractive. Thinking back on it, the "random" lays I've gotten have been because I was introduced to a girl while doing something like competing at the NCAAs or language classes.

I'm starting to think about how I, in Asia, can start copying this guy's model, but in a different context given my own lifestyle and preferences.

As I can do hip hop and salsa dance, I feel like I corner the market of dancers and French expat girls in Shanghai. I'm thinking about how to make this happen, would appreciate the forum's thoughts on the matter.

I think you and I think on the same level. Based on what I've seen, setting up an ideal lifestyle will bring in a passive income of chicks once the pieces are in place so I think it's worth the effort.

I'm a little confused, though, by what you're asking. Are you wondering how to use your talents to corner pussy? Or how to create a unique lifestyle out of this interest/talent to present to chicks? Or both?

Your friend's niche (indie movies) requires him to think outside the box in order to attract the pussy that likes that kind of stuff. He can't just go to a club and start showing random girls movie clips on his ipod.

But you are very very fortunate that your niche is dancing.
You can use salsa and hip-hop dancing at the dance clubs. Dance clubs are already attracting girls who like to dance, so you dont have to worry about setting up your own event. Salsa clubs, especially.

I haven't been in dance for a while but I am sure I can pick it back up quickly. The issue of having to find my own venue was a problem, but when you put it that way I suppose it isn't really a big deal.

Regardless, I would like to figure out a way to throw my own events and then have an afterparty at my crib.

I get the feeling gmanifesto has some food for thoughts in regards to swooping classy dancer girls from the club to the crib, although his approach is probably less about salsa and more about benjamins.
