Yeah I set mine at 35 sometimes to test out how my pics/profile do with the populated city. Then I can narrow it down to normal for my town.

I don't bother with that and just give my real number (unlisted). You can use Google Voice, but there is probably a way trace you if she accuses you of something and goes to the police. However, I don't think somebody can easily look up your name and other personal info using your phone number.

I just found that for Thailand, I have to do the following for each picture:

1) If she's ugly / duckface / JB poster, simply pass.
2) If she looks good, press the Info button.

I thought I'd upload a shirtless picture to see with whether I could attract a few more skanks that usual.

But I go to do it and I can't find an option to put a photo on my profile that isn't on my Facebook.

Upload the picture into an album with the privacy setting "only me". Tag yourself in the picture and it will be available on Tinder under 'photos of me'

When I was 26, I was getting a healthy amount of matches. Since I turned 27, match rate has gone down significantly. Surely though that can't be it? One year older, so now I get nothing? I don't even get matched with women my age, which makes me wonder what they've set their parameters to.

I am good looking but accept that i've crossed the rubicon age-wise. And although I look 5 yrs younger, it's still probably not enough to make it worthwhile. Day game and old fashioned footwork seem to be my best bet

I'd bet that a lot of the young chicks [and Tinder is replete with them] would love an older guy [like 27 for eg] but don't know that consciously and so don't set their age limits to include that. If you gamed them in person they'd probably be more into it.

I auto-like everybody, but instead of unmatching the girls i don't like, i ask them "Spit or swallow?" and watch their reaction.

I agree. I think that goes for almost anything quantifiable when it comes to online dating.

A girl may say, I'm gonna set my parameters to 21-25 on Tinder, but in person, if a 27 year old day games her, she may say "eh, close enough to 25."

She may ask for 6 feet specifically online, but if a 5'9 guy games her in real life, "eh, close enough."

It's only when you're looking at the actual number on a screen that you start to make a bigger deal out of it than it really is.

That's why online game should not be a primary source of game. Real life will always yield you better results.

In the western world, yeah every year matters.

In the eastern world, nothing matters. I'm 23 and banged girls on Tinder ranging from 18 to 45 (yeah, felt squishy, but a notch is a notch), while never lying about my age.

I have a Google Voice number and use Hangouts so I can manage everything with both numbers in one app. However, it gets confusing with alcohol in the picture, and I ended up texting a few girls with my real one on accident one night. So lately I've just been giving them the real one.

As for privacy, there are definitely ways to look up personal information just using the cell number. If you have AT&T or Sprint, I could find out nearly everything about you with just the number. If I just wanted the name on the account, I could find that in about 5 seconds. I have definitely done this to examine catfishes, potential scams, etc. It has come in handy.

Although, this method doesn't work with Verizon Wireless or T-Mobile subscribers as they mask their numbers to the look-up I use and probably others.

Very true. A woman's tolerance for age gaps increases with her age. This becomes an exponential increase when she has children.

My theory why Anglosphere women are more intolerant of older men than every other language-cultural groups is because adolescence seems to extend to a woman's 30s now and the feminist lobby's role is to restrict men's dating choices.

Well, there's no way to prove these theories, but I think your theory is totally wrong hahaha! I have a few theories with no way to know if their true

1) girls want a partner who is a good fit, their number one priority is someone who gets them perfectly. Today pop cultural is such a big part of their life that they constantly communicate with references to pop culture. Pop culture moves a lot faster now than it did 40 and 50 years ago. Most guys have a hard to time communicating with girls ten, twenty or thirty years younger.
2) girls know that guys die about 10 years earlier than girls. (nowadays in the US it is actually only 5 years earlier but most people don't know that). Girls know that they eventually want a life partner, and why would they want to be alone for the last twenty or thirty years of their life
3) when you game much younger girls there is a stronger element of provider game (even if you are just providing wisdom and experience). (this can be avoided if you run loser/bad boy game). because of the massive increases in income inequality in the US older man have much tougher competition in their age group
4) a lot of guys who complain about girls not wanting to date older guys simply have not taken care of themselves physically and style-wise and won't admit this to themselves
5) effective game changes over time, and many older guys have trouble adapting their game to the times. they are stuck doing the same things they did when they were younger because it used to work
6) when you game when you're young girls are judging you on potential, when you game when you're older girls are judging you on what you have made of yourself, and most guys have not met their potential
7) girls don't want the reputation of being a gold digger that goes along with dating much older guys

Odd dilemma. I matched with a handful of women before I left the country (Netherlands)for a six week holiday. Knowing that I cannot meet up with them until early February, should I still send a message to establish a connection? Or would the long wait before the first meet up be detrimental?

I would wait until February. They're gonna be around. Don't run game when you can't physically deliver. Tinder girls move on very quickly.

If you can't see them, don't message. The slow burn doesn't work for Tinder in most cases.

When you message Tinder girls, it should be with the intention of meeting them that weekend or the next. I'm sure there are exceptions but remember, we are talking about a girl on an app swarming with hungry dudes. Unless your text game is sharp as fuck (and even then), I can't see you holding interest in a girl from now till February without seeing her.
