RE: Tinder App

I was going to suggest this as well.
Delete the ap, re add it, but use different photos.
I would also suggest making an okcupid account, and using the program 'your best face'. It will show your photos to different women and they will vote on which ones are the nicest. Then use those photos on tinder.
Tinder is fantastic, I love the quality of the women I am getting matched with.

I have way way more losses when I start with the opener, or shortly thereafter - I have chicks loving my first line and then I respond, and then never hear back from them. I know my lines are solid, but they just stop responding sometimes. One girl recently scheduled to meet up with me, and then couldn't ostensibly due to work and now won't even talk to me. Maybe her car tire goes flat one day and cockblocks you from ever meeting her because she immediately moves on - girls are that flakey. So I say strike while the iron's hot, while you're still a novelty.
I wouldn't advise the same with OKC, unless she's sending you short quick messages.
I've fucked five or six girls off Tinder so far.
As I said, I can totally understand that you want to keep using what is working for you. but so far the biggest hurdle for me was getting them to give their phone number, even if they like my opener and think I am funny etc, they just often go to radio silence when I ask for their number a lot of the time. If I ask for their phone number, and they don't give it but keep talking, then I know I am close and they just need a little more convincing and they eventually cave.
I just started on tinder about 5 days ago, have a couple of dates lined up for the weekend, one is lukewarm and I think she will likely flake, one seems really enthusiastic about meeting up and I will just have to run "don't fuck up" game.

Seeing Tinder from the girl's perspective is like a whole different world. As you can imagine for a cute girl within 48 hours of getting tinder she has about 2 dozen matches if not more. Almost all the guys message her too.
Now pretend you're a guy messaging a girl like this. How can you separate yourself from these other guys? First, you need to get her to "swipe right" on you. While she by no means represents all women, I took a few notes:
1.) Pictures: Use all 5 slots and have them be the best pictures you can possibly find. They should have you looking good and doing something fun.
2.) Tagline: Don't waste this space. Think of something witty or something impressive/interesting you're doing or have accomplished.
That's pretty much all you can do to get her to swipe right. She's not going to spend a whole lotta time analyzing you. If you're good looking you're set, and being interesting helps.
3.) Message: You guys here know better than to send a lame message. Send something witty and fun, but not too stupid. A cheesy pickup line may work.
Also, this girl really has no intention of banging any of these guys. It's more of a tool for vailidation for these girls seeing how many guys they can get to like them and message them. Keep that in mind. Don't get discouraged from game and then log on Tinder hoping to get lucky. It won't happen.
Agreed on all of this. Ive been flaked on 3 times in 3 days from tinder women, and I am surprisingly not even phased. They struck me as have never tried any sort of online dating and getting them past the point that they would actually want to meet up seems like a big hurdle. Even babe ruth went 0 for 3 some times(and i am not the babe ruth of dating, just saying, 0 for 3 shouldn't be a big deal to anyone)
They might start off with no intention of meeting up with any of the guys but if they try the app out and meet you and think you are funny and attractive, you ought to be able to get past that, and they just need a little more convincing.
Thanks for reminding us of the women's perspective on this app.

RE: Tinder App
I was addicted to Tinder when it first came out. In fact, I think some of those "matches" were fake, just so we would get excited about the app and our prospects. Anyhow, I still occasionally get matches (maybe 20 lifetime in a month), but I've only met up with one gal. I don't really try that hard with messages though. I send one and that's it.
But here are some tips on how I started getting more matches. First, I had what I thought was a great profile pic, just me. It was like crickets for days. Heck, I even started to swipe unattractive girls, just so I could feel good that I was "matched"! Surprisingly, it still wasn't happening.
Then, I went with a shirtless beach pic (since I do work out!) and that got some ticks going again, but the match girls would be hit or miss on the responses. Finally, I went with a shirtless pic, with a hot girl I used to date, and BAM, I was getting more matches and responses. I think it was a combination of them feeling better they were messaging a guy who can pull hot girls, who has a decent body, and bits of their own ego and insecurity from the competition.
Ultimately, I'm over Tinder. I will only swipe when I'm REALLY bored, which may happen at the end of my gym workouts, or while sitting on the pot for a marathon session.

SVB:
This is an interesting point about the pic with the hot babe, and causes me to wonder about guy's practices with pictures in terms of how recent they are and/or if guys use pictures that are NOT accurate representations of themselves... for example 10 years earlier.
I would think that pictures within the past 5 years of so would be fair game, so long as a guy's appearance has NOT changed very much. But, ALSO, I understand that many practices are "fair" in game, and in that regard, if it works to accomplish a guy's objective(s), it works and maybe that is the measure that should be used.
