What is going on with Tinder? A few months ago I'd get matched with a few 7's a day. Now it's like one land whale a week. What the hell is going on?!

You're a 'static' user?

Read through this thread if you don't understand why your matches are diminishing. Static users are at a disadvantage for many reasons.

Some of us discussed theories as to why travelling people do better than non-travelling('static').

If you search for guys, does Tinder show you all guys or only the ones who are also searching for guys? I wanted to check my competition in Bangkok and found out that the amount of white guys is probably less than 5%. That sounds too good to be true.

I have done cheers. That makes perfect sense though, I spent a weekend in Liverpool and got like 20 matches over 2.5 days ranging between 5 and 8. I have never been able to replicate that since.

Kinda unfair though. It places you at a disadvantage, especially in a city that you were born and raised in, which also happens to be one of the two greatest cities on Earth. And one where nobody seems to be born and raised in these days as well...

I live in NYC, so I’m going through my “discover” by age range. I going to check out the 30-40 scene now (I am mid twenties but like an older chick from time to time).

I used a travel pic and body pic, along with this guy’s texting script with decent success on the 18-24 range.

Women in their 30s have hit the Wall, and it's difficult to generalise about them. Some will still be riding the carousel, some will be jaded and saying "no more players".

Women over 40 are super picky. Confirmed this recently when talking to a 40s woman I know, she said they do still like sex, but with certain types, they're more particular.

That was a good read and i live in the same city as him. He must be going for older women usually because his approach on 18-21 year olds i go for would scare them away. Especially sending a pic randomly once he gets their number lol ive had 7 tinder bangs out of 10 meets the very first night.

I sometimes spoof exotic GPS locations to admire the scenery and it amazes me how quickly you can get good looking girls to you in 'poorer' countries. Take this girl from Lagos for example, easily a 7 or above. It was easy as fuck to get her to my fictional hotel.

Anyone with stories about easy Tinder lays in cities like that?

Thought of a great new way to number close today. Forgive me and correct me if someone else has already mentioned this or come up with it before.

One of the most effective number closers out there is "this app is shitty, let's move this to text" because it gives her a hamster justification for why she's doing it. More recently, I've had some more stubborn ones refuse to give it up.

So why not simply make the app look shitty then? Take a random message that you post, somewhere around the 4th to 6th. When you send it, copy the text, paste, and send 6 more times. Then just go 'wtf happened', she'll be like 'I have no idea'. Run the 'shitty app' number closer as usual.

Profit.

How do you guys restart when you know that you've fuc*ed up a bit? How long do you keep them in your list if you haven't exchanged messages for a time?

Example: there's an young american 8 whom I've been texting and she made it particularly clear that, she likes new experiences and hardly says "no" to anything. Instead of playing subtle and saying something like "how far does that motto extend" or something int hose lines, I just said "you should be fun in bed". That was 2 days ago. Any change of restarting?

Thats a bit how I would do it. Works pretty good with Dutch girls to get them qualify themself when trying to recover from a mistake I made. If they respond, which they usually do, I'll build from there. Hell, I even put in a little self-mocking if required.

Yeah, just throw out something completely non related and see if it hits. Pretend you never said that. It's too blunt in my opinion, she would have to be a hyper slut to respond to that positively.
