Cheers, I'm 6ft but I know my pictures are not that great. Would say they are average, main pic is me standing with wetsuit gear before going white water rafting. Overall don't take that great of a picture and any pics I have with girls makes it look too playerish so I don't use those either.

I think also where you live has a lot to do with how effective pics & bio are, travel pics dont do much for me where I live since basically 90% of people between 18-24 has done some overseas trip. Don't know what makes a really good pic.

I think the best pictures are the ones that tell about your lifesyle without revealing too much. My current 3 pictures are lifestyle shots taken with iPhones: at my friend's upscale loft, in the Amsterdam red light district and at an art gallery with a cute Middle Eastern girl by my side. I don't think having pro shots will hurt you as much as seflies (to avoid at all costs, in my opinion).

My bio is just my height (6'2"), but sometimes I switch it up to something more playful ("Okay looking. Decent drunk. Amazing kisser.") Location is important. I live a little far off from my city's centre so my distance is set to 20km. I think most girls set their distance to something like 5-10km so they might never see my profile. If I stay home at all day, I might get 1 or 2 matches, but when I'm on campus I can get up to 10 matches in the same day. I usually swipe on campus and then log out when I head home so my location is logged on campus, more girls can see my profile that way.

After the next 5 days I'll add some photos in with girls and test that no matter if I matched good or not. I don't care too much about not getting matches because really should just meet people in real life. But It would be awesome to crack the code.

It's interesting but not surprising that so many women are very adept at selecting the most flattering angles and photos for their profiles on these sites and we have so much difficulty knowing what photos would look good to women.

There were some profile photos of a women I really liked but when I looked more closely I noticed ALL were heavily photo shopped.

I'm also more wary when there aren't any full body shots. Not just Waste up shots, but full...
The reason for this of course is that I've seen many profiles of women with a very attractive close up and then in a subsequent photo you discover they're very overweight. So... if someone who is photoshopping photos, carefully selecting extremely flattering angles and photos generally, doesn't include any full body shots, it must be deliberate. How come? Makes me wonder what they are hiding.

I would include that photo as one of say 4 photos.
I don't think it will seem try-hard if your vibe is right in the photo and if you have a mix of other photos around it. I wouldn't include it as your main photo but maybe #2 or 3.

My approach is "less is more" as far as photos and just have 2. If i had more photos I perceived as good though, then I'd use them.
I am getting results w/ the ones I have vs. the ones I used before that included a "headshot" style photo that a photographer friend took for me, for something else not related to Tinder. I thought it looked good and it probably does but not in a Tinder-effective way.

Definitely true. It's gotten so bad that I'm at the point where unless I explicitly see a flat stomach or thin arms, I swipe left instantly. No way that a girl who has a rocking body isn't going to show it off on her Tinder pics.

Borrowed a DSLR camera and took a shirtless selfie with it. I'm happy with the results. Added contrast and sharpness to it along with making it black and white. That's about as artistic as I get, but I think it adds a component not seen in my other photos

Will post back with results and see if I'm getting more or higher quality matches.

So my plan was to create 4 fb accounts for 4 tinders and gps spoof location in different capital cities in Australia. I would then split test different parts of a profile to see what gave the best response. I tried to get it working but tinder and facebook both require you to verify identity with a phone number (1hr wasted -_-). But for now I've got two accounts going in two diff cities, going to check them in 5 days to see how it went.

Good plan, I do this when I am traveling through different states in a short time frame. For verification just use some friend's phone numbers. I just put my boys numbers in and text them for the verification code. Most don't care because they don't use tinder.

Well I'm finally getting some quality matches. Haven't changed much except reloggin in, changing location spread distance, using app at different times......

I think all those things somehow generate latent profiles that the algorithm passes over sometimes. I've had a few 8-9s matches. And nothing low quality below a 7 yet. Got #s from almost half, but I've learned the hotter they are, naturally the more you have to walk softly to get the #.

Think I scared a few away going after the # too quick, both 8+ in looks. Meeting a few in the next few days. Not bad overall. Still doesn't compare to good live game skills, which outproduces for me every time, like last night.

So I met and smashed a chick from Tinder yesterday. Nothing to brag all too much about, was a 6/10 older woman. Was a good lay though, dem teddies and sensitive everywhere. I thought that the app had to be re-installed before you could change your age but I woke up yesterday morning to my age being under the 30 year threshold.

At 27, I was getting matches with nearly every other swipe yesterday morning from women in their 20s. When I had my real age in, I was getting most of the matches from my age or a few years older. So it seems that my pictures are attractive enough from women in their early 20s+ but that I had already been disqualified from them when they signed up and set their age search range.

Another thing I have noticed at 27 and my age range set to 18-50 is that women over thirty rarely feature in my swipe queue at all.

I saw one girl on the dance floor using the chat function, showing her friends what she was writing, likely setting up a late night booty call. Is it better be the guy grinding it out in the clubs working for the one night stand (major high, I admit) or to be the guy working Tinder at 3am, fielding booty calls from home? My experience this weekend has me leaning towards the latter.

I don't night game so I can't really speak to this - but I will say this. If you're going out at night, do so to have fun. Go in with the mindset that you're gonna go let loose after a Mon-Fri grind, have fun with your boys, whatever. If you're going out with the intention to get laid, some (maybe most) nights, you're gonna go home to your hand. From a financial standpoint, it's cheaper to stay home and swipe hoping for an easy tinder hook up than to spend money at a loud, obnoxious, pretentious bullshit club and try to open sets one by one and see what sticks.

Well personally I've always done better when I went out with friends, just looking to have a good time, and I don't even notice some of the women there, then things grow organically, maybe a cutie orders a drink at the same time I do, I open her up then, and it flows naturally. It's house money, because I wasn't going in there expecting anything.

Some guys go in, nonstop hunting, go home empty handed and consider the night a failure for not getting their junk wet. If you have no expectations, you feel no pressure.

I also don't roll with other gamers so - in my earlier days, I would be all psyched to go out with the boys and hope to meet some chicks, only for it to be a complete sausage fest, and we wouldn't venue change because the other dudes have girlfriends or whatever or don't know any other cool bars in the area and so ends my night.

Rolling solo is better than with some beta bros with no game. But I'd definitely prefer a good wing to just being by myself out at the bar.

My game currently consists of Tinder hookups, if you live in a smaller city Tinder goes hot/cold/hot/cold, so I usually day game when I can to supplement. But on open weekend nights, if I don't have a girl lined up, I definitely go out at least one night of the weekend solo. I avoid cliche bars, and hit those off the beaten path.

Chicks fucking totally dig that a guy has the balls to go out alone. I recently found out one night after rolling out solo, that half the bar tending staff who were serving, were secretly arguing over who would get me, flirtatiously placing bets on whose number I'd ask for and get with, even though I left after the manager to another place when they closed early. Not one of them was less than a 7, or over 28 yr old, and most were 8+ range.

This method always give me a plan B to execute. If I execute plan B and still come up empty handed, then it's off to plan C or call it a night.

I tried to reset my age back to 35 but the FB options to do this are greyed out so it looks like I'll be experiencing tinder as a 27 year old for a while.

The biggest thing that I have noticed is that women in their 30s (my real age group) are at the back of the queue and I am seeing women in their 20s whom I haven't seen before (my settings are always set to 18-50). I reckon that a user's search options classifies people in the queue.

After testing my first two profiles they did complete shit lol. Which I think was because of the strange bio's i made.

After creating the profile I swiped Yes to 60 girls who were 6+. Then I would like another 20 or so girls when I checked the app after a few days to see if I got any likes from profiles I didn't see. First one only got 5 matches 2 hotties, 2 average 1 ugly and deceiving profile pic. Second test got ZERO matches, not sure if it was a bug but I tried something out of the ordinary in the bio. I wrote "Virgin", this obviously doesn't work! lol

I am now creating two new profiles with the first one already done. I used the bio outline similar to what travesty said but to suit my personality. After writing the bio and adding my pics which was total 5 minutes I started to swipe to get through the 60likes before logging out. I already got 3 likes, one was average and one was an absolute stunner for Australian standards and one big boobed asian also very attractive. This bio looks promising. Same thing in diff city with no bio so far 5 likes.

It is a bit arbitrary because its a different city and also small sample. Will check it in a 1 or 2 days.

I will also be using the emojii openers just to test if they respond but I am suspecting this may not work with the real attractive girls or maybe they just don't respond to anything? Anyone had success with real attractive girls with emojii opener? I got one number with it but she was average. I'm going to try a different opener on the next really attractive girl I match. Want to see if I can crack into the top quality girls.
