I wondered that after rediscovering this clip:





She disappeared off the face of the Earth in the early 2000s. You can't even find media photos of her.

After some time searching, I found a grainy Youtube clip of her singing in a radio show last week... in a bulky sweatshirt:





   



I'm trying to find a normal street photo of her instead of all done-up in photoshoots.

After she got married and had her kid in 03/04, she deliberately took a hiatus, which lasted for about 3 years. That's why it appeared as though she'd just fell off the face of the Earth.

She did come back and release a couple of decent albums in 2007 and 2010, but she hasn't captured the stardom and chart success she had before her hiatus.

Gotta say, I don't find her appealing. She has a big forehead, strongly reminds me of a kid I went to school with that we called 'Egghead.' Her head looks oversized in comparison to her body, giving her the look of a midget. Her body looks kind of stumpy overall, plus she looks perpetually 13.

A few things happened. She sacked her managers Mylene Farmer and Laurent Boutonnat. These people are pop hit factories and without them Alizee couldn't make the grade. She then got married and had babies. A few years ago she tried to make a comeback, but without the Farmer/Boutonnat magic she crashed and burned.

I'm sure she had a much happier life now out of the media spot light.
