Anyone have any luck using the new app called snapchat? It's really a marvel and works as such:

You can add whoever you know if they have an account, and you can send pictures to each other. Sounds like texting right? But here's where the app differentiates.

The pictures are only available for a certain amount of time- somewhere between 3 and 10 seconds. And if you snapshot the pic it will tell the person who sent it. You can also add text and draw on it in app.

It's useful to keep in touch with someone who you haven't seen, but the best use of it has to be to keep the girls you've already banged on your leash. Every once in a while I hit them with a snapchat to remind them I'm still here, usually either without a shirt on or dressed nice before I go out. Oh, and sometimes I get illicit pics in return (the best part)

It's a useful app in a players hands. Word of caution here, it's a young person trend, and you're not going to meet many 30 year olds with this app.

I downloaded it, and almost all of the people that appear to have it among my contacts are chicks I've gamed. I just wish they'd incorporate profile pictures, because I don't remember who 90% of these chicks are.

Has anyone ever gotten a bang from re-initiating text contact with a girl? This would be for a girl whose number you got awhile back, and doesn't even remember you. Whatsapp is also good for this, potentially. I just logged into Whatsapp, and it looks as if most girls who have it rarely use it.

How do you know if someone among your contacts have it? Are they highlighted as in Whatsapp?

If you can just snap-shot a pic then I don't really get the point.

It automatically generates a list of contacts who have snapchat, just like whatsapp does. You can also invite those that don't have snapchat.

I allowed Snapchat to search my contacts list, something I don't normally do because who knows what these third parties do with your information. BUT I was shocked by the high percentage of numbers I harvested recently that were on Snapchat. The app allows you to essentially mass text, the recipient can't see who else you sent the picture to. This is an important finding.
